Oil Production, a guide to the future
John Johnston replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
True. However... In 2023, the U.S. imported approximately 8.5 million barrels of crude oil per day. Major suppliers include Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico, with Canada accounting for over 60% of total imports. Russia's role has diminished significantly due to geopolitical tensions and sanctions, dropping from 7.9% of imports in 2021 to less than 1% recently. Additionally, Venezuela remains largely untapped due to sanctions, despite having one of the largest reserves globally. And running around destroying global markets without thinking will eventually turn North America into a wasteland. On the bright side, the American people are understanding their massive mistake in electing criminals to run their government. Albeit a little late. -
The NDP leadership vote is a fraud
John Johnston replied to Gaétan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I think you have other issues that you maybe should sort out. What a ridiculous, hateful comment. -
Yes. We see that the Trump and his clownish Hegseth did not think any of this through. Did anybody in this Government think anything through? Apparently not. Putin is loving all this, and you have fools like Witkoff trying to make deals and saying incredibly stupid things like, Trump administration takes Putin at his words. Are these people are for real? America sure looks stupid most days. Between going after every Ally they had and insulting everyone, global tariffs bla, bla bla.... And people here sit and say things like Trump is working in America's interest with a straight face. No wonder world is turning it's back.

Iran vs Arabia: Trump has opened an ugly fight
John Johnston replied to August1991's topic in The Rest of the World
True, they have not slaughtered and cut up anymore American Journalists for a while. And the Trump Family is making out like bandits... I guess it's better. -
A medical practitioner has highlighted the rapid rate of President Donald Trump’s apparent cognitive decline. During a trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Trump, 79, confused Iceland with Greenland multiple times, shared private text messages from world leaders, undertook rambling, epic speeches and went on a manic social media posting spree. Upon his return, Trump displayed the worst bruising on his hand yet. Dr. Vin Gupta, a medical analyst for NBC News and former Chief Medical Officer at Amazon, reflected on the president’s well-documented family history of age-related dementia, claiming he is seeing a “trend line” and that, “it seems like it’s getting worse.” “The acting out, behavior changes, lashing out, acting unreasonable,”. “One could say this is his core fundamental personality based on what we’ve seen over, frankly, his entire adult life, but it’s getting worse.”

The word “Antifa” is short for “anti-fascist.” It describes a movement of activists who identify themselves with opposing fascism, authoritarianism, and far-right ideologies. Unlike political parties or established advocacy groups, Antifa has no official structure, headquarters, or leadership. It is not a nonprofit, not a registered political organization, and not a nationally centralized body. Instead, it is a decentralized movement, made up of local collectives and individuals who share anti-fascist values and engage in direct action. This lack of central structure is one of the main reasons the question—is Antifa a real group
