I miss the Progressive Conservative Party of years gone by from the the late 70's, early 80's. I do not recognize todays party. Seems to me the Manning Effect casts a long shadow.

Today's Modern Conservative Party's hallmark is Grievance, Entitlement and Victimhood. It is their whole card.

Well, I am 67 years old. I have been taught since birth that any criticism of Israel about their policies or Governance will be met with me being labeled as an Anti Semite and that any opinion I may have is wrong. So I say nothing and offer no opinion.

I am Canadian. My point is, Conservatives in general spend way too much time worrying about what is right or wrong about other people. For example Conservatives should be spending their time on infrastructure issues, fiscal issues and like, not who uses who's bathroom, or Women's and Men's health. They are elected to govern, not offer opinions of what they think of other people.

Americans in general have problems with other peoples sexuality and other peoples personal issues. That is why I have no time for Modern Conservatives of any stripe.

The thing I miss the most about Que is the Food and and the Music.
