I think it comes down to the fact that they can't fathom how someone would not like their ideas. There cannot be something possibly wrong with liberal/left policies. Therefore, there must be something wrong with people. If Kamala is leaking support among women, it can't be that some women made up their minds to vote for Trump. It has to be that conservative men are directing their stepford wives how to vote by force. If some blacks have moved to Trump, it can't be that there is something they feel Trump is offering them that Kamala isn't, it's that black men are being sexist. So, Obama has to lecture them. And then there was the ad directed at men in general. There is no mention of any policy in the ad. There is no appeal to issues that men in general might find important. This is because Democrat policies cannot be the issue. It's men that are the problem. They are just scared to vote for Kamala. It's the only possible explanation. They need to see a bunch of guys saying they eat carburetors for breakfast telling them it's ok to vote for Harris. When you point this out, they seem to overestimate how offended you are, and think they must have struck a nerve. But the truth is no one is the slightest bit offended. They just think it's really lame. People see these ads and are laughing at them.

Trump Nominates Pam Bondi
CouchPotato replied to CouchPotato's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
She's just a year shy of 60. Looking pretty cute, I'd say. -
No one thinks it is hateful to criticize a Republican. What Hillary did was to say half of Trump supporters belong in a basket of deplorables. That's roughly 1/4 of the voting public. That's pretty stupid. And this is not a one off with liberals in political office. Whenever people do not support them on something, they insinuate something is wrong with the people. It's never that there could be something wrong with their policy. It's never that they might have done a bad job promoting a policy. Or it's never that some people just see things differently. That's just impossible. The people are either racist, misogynist or they have been brainwashed by Russian disinformation.

Well she does have blonde hair and blue eyes, so even if she is not Hitler it's further evidence that Trump is for picking her. -

Newsom also has that thing like Mitt Romney where he looks like the guy you cast as a sociopathic conman or villain in a movie. Probably even moreso than Romney. -
Kamala Harris Early Frontrunner For 2028
CouchPotato replied to CouchPotato's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Yeah, it's not very likely that she runs again. And I know that poll is meaningless. Still though it kinda surprises me that so many respondents said she should run again. Probably just name recognition. I wonder what the resident Dem supporters would think. Perhaps it would have been better to ask who the next candidate could be. Gavin Newsom? -
I know this is way too early but.... Kamala Harris Should Run Again in 2028, Democratic Voters Say https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/kamala-harris-should-run-again-in-2028-democratic-voters-say/ar-AA1ur3h1 Does Kammy have what it takes to come back in 2028? She might be older and wiser. She would have more time to put together a campaign. She could also make a legitimate claim to be the change candidate next time around.
