  1. Moral cowards exist across all demographics...
  2. Maybe. From what he has said, he doesn't support federal action on this. I don't think he will drive it, but if it got to his desk he might sign it for any number of reasons. However, I don't think federal legislation is going to be constitutional either way and I do not support it.
  3. Funny, seeing as you are basing your justification on the use of force on completely unrelated things... Your position is basically, screw Hill, don't care. So, do you think the police would have been cool to shoot him too? Maybe break his leg? Kick him in the nuts? Just trying to figure out if we can objectively quantify the standards you are supporting for LEO here on a routine traffic stop. Like, hey this guy is not showing me enough respect... BAM, shoot the bastard. Whats funny is that I did a little search and you were on this forum crying about Ashli Babbet being "murdered" Maybe she wasn't showing enough respect and F her too, right?
  4. The most famous example of them all. A devout Christian baker is being asked to create an LGBTQ-themed cake for a wedding they do not want to participate in or create for. My statement makes perfect sense. I am not going to engage in the fantasy/delusion that some person thinks they are something they are not and is pretending to be something they are not. Truth is more important than engaging in a big lie.
  5. Don't care. People are entitled to their political positions and I do not begrudge her having one or sharing it at all. It only becomes annoying when they use their products to push it... like, if I was at a concert (as if I could ever get a ticket) and she started going on some tirade about something political instead of singing, that would be not very pleasant...
  6. Yeah, sure, if you ignore the evidence. Not a lie. You said you were more fearful of the shootouts stopping a bad guy.
  7. Exactly. The officer had already turned his back to Hill and was walking away to write the ticket, the other officer walked away and turned his back to Hill to go look at the VIN. The business being conducted was over. He put his window up. There was no reason for any of it or the escalation at all.
  8. How can you comply with a lawful order to get out of your car when you are given less than a few seconds before they are opening your door and ripping you out? The officer was driving his knee into Hill's back to pin his arm down when Hill was not resisting. Then, what is your excuse for the Officer running over to pull him down to the ground when he was already in hand cuffs? Seriously dude... you have no clue what you are talking about.
  9. I did. That is when you said you would rather have the good guys with guns wait outside while the little kids were bleeding to death inside. Don't want a firefight. Just let the bad guy kill as many as he wants to. That is your plan.
  10. LOL, yeah, he was so separated from her that she was the one on stage with him when he won Mayor of San Francisco like a year after his affair with Harris... Good thing he "supported" her career through appointments to lucrative boards and committees during that time. I am sure it was all just two people 30 years apart in love... This is not gossip. They had a confirmed affair.
  11. Just like how Willie Brown "supported" Harris... ROFL
  12. Over the course of the next few months, I am sure the usual crowd will chime in on how this is the end and how great Russia is doing after they go another 20 meters...
  13. You don't have to be polite to police. You certainly should... but you don't have to. That is not a crime not an excuse or justification for the force they used on him.
  14. Still being a coward.
  15. Shit, the police should have just shot him.
  16. It is not a mere "action" we are talking about; it is force. No one will be fired. We will be lucky if we get any kind of apology unless its part of a deal where Hill agrees to not sue them...
  17. In other words, you could actually respond to what I said... I mean, if you wanted to change things up a bit and actually try to engage more honestly.
  18. Not a deflection. It was in the list of ignorant things in the post you shared.
  19. OMG, are you going to quibble over unnecessary and excessive? If the force was unnecessary, then it was excessive. Again, you just keep asserting it is not excessive because you can't actually respond to the absurdity of their ripping him out of his car within seconds of asking him to exit. They didn't even give him a chance. That they shoved him to the ground instead of giving him a chance to sit on his own. None of that was reasonable use of force. None of it. All they had to do was write the ticket and give it to him. Thats it.
  20. Why is the left so ignorant on these things? Paid Safaris protect endangered animals in Africa. They create an industry where people are incentivized to protect animals from poachers and create game preserves for them to ensure they propagate and grow. If all the bleeding heart ignorant liberals chipped in some of their own $$$ to protect animals in Africa...
  21. Of course, it is. All you can do is keep saying it isn't while I have explained in detail exactly why it is.
  22. Still waiting for you to stop being a coward. Tell us what it is you support.
  23. Funny how you left out the rest of that... (a) Instruction on the proportional use of force. (b) Alternatives to use of force, including de-escalation techniques. Also, show me the policy and training where they are shown to immediately escalate in mere seconds to ripping someone out of the car? Where was the de-escalation techniques? You are grasping at straws to justify the indefensible. No, you did not. You posted a link that is circular in nature, not the department policy in question. Your argument is that they don't define it as excessive so it is not excessive... Again: -Pulling him out of car -> Excessive use of force -Putting him on the ground, aggressively cuffing him while pushing down on his back -> Excessive use of force -Pushing him to the ground while he was already cuffed to force him to sit down -> Excessive use of force
  24. His celebration was funny, he pretended to be handcuffed. LOL
  25. There is some desire for some folks to absolutely refuse to be objective in criticizing the police and I do not understand it. It is OK to criticize them, they are not perfect.
