She said the buck stops with her. She also said that they couldn't put people on the sloped roof the shooter shot from because it was to dangerous. But, the snipers that shot him were on a sloped roof. She also claimed they had drones in the air, but none of them seem to have seen the shooter? She also didn't approve enough agents to secure the perimeter despite repeated requests from Trump's team and a supposed threat from Iran. The president almost got shot, but yeah, its about her sex.

Trump Documents Case Dead In The Water
gatomontes99 replied to Nationalist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
If the SCOTUS has already ruled that Jack Smith is unconstitutional, a lower court really can't do anything. It's dead. They can appeal. But it is dead. -
Supposedly Joe has COVID, so he had to cancel appearances. If he had COVID, wouldn't he wear a mask? Or do masks not work now? This comes hours after reports leak that he had a "disasterous" call with Democrats. Reportedly he could not finish a thought or say words that people had heard of. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/one-hour-before-trump-shooting-biden-held-a-disastrous-zoom-call-that-rattled-moderate-democrats/ar-BB1q8Q7H?ocid=BingNewsSerp You have to wonder if these are related.

That's the great thing about banana republic laws, they have a wide ranging interpretation that are contingent on your affiliations. -

You have no idea what a banana republic is, do you? -
Trump Documents Case Dead In The Water

You clearly haven't paid attention. There have been a couple of cases, this year, that didn't go the Republican way. However, the SCOTUS has already issued a ruling that referenced Jack Smith's appointment. So any appeal is dead. Appeal away, it will never go back to court. This case is toast. -

Try to keep up. Cannon's ruling was based on a concurring opinion to the immunity issue. It stated the Jack Smith appointment didn't follow proper procedure. -
The Biden administration obtained intelligence in recent weeks about an Iranian assassination plot against former President Donald Trump, and the information led the Secret Service to ramp up security around the former president, according to three U.S. officials with knowledge of the matter. But the officials said there was no indication the plot had any link to the assassination attempt on the former president Saturday carried out by a 20-year-old American at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. U.S. investigators say the evidence so far indicates the gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, acted alone. That was increased protection? The INCREASED protection let a 20 year old amateur get less than 150 yards from an expresident, with a rifle and an open line of sight? Are you kidding me? What is the point of the USSS if that's the best they can do? How easy would it be for Iran or any other bad actor to get to our President? The answer is, it's a lie. They can do better, they just want to pretend they were trying.

Listened to the whole thing this morning. It was disastrous. -

Ok, Thomas mentions it in a conquering opinion. That means the SCOTUS supports it. If appeal made it to SCOTUS, they'll stand by that concurrent opinion. It is over. -
Was it the bullseye comment or: Trump is an existential threat to democracy Trump is a literal threat to democracy Trump is Hitler Trump is trying to kill women Trump will be a dictator Trump will cause a bloodbath Trump is a felon Trump is a racist Trump is a rapist Etc Etc Etc There wasn't one comment. There was a constant drum beat. Combine that with intentionally under staffing his protection detail, calls to remove his detail and disastrous policies that lower standards to maintain appearances all point to culpability of the Biden admin.

You are literally making the case for judge shopping because you couldn't get your way. The case can't be brought in other, more friendly, districts or it would have. Jack Smith lost because the SCOTUS said he's not legally appointed. There is no court that can over turn that other than the SCOTUS. It is over. -

No. I've heard them, in full context, because I'm not taking MSNBC's word for it. So I dont believe the lies you spew. -

Joe actually said something stupid about bullseye. Something about "[but I didn't say crosshairs]". Are you kidding? What?! Then he said he ran for VP with Obama in 2020. But, hey, everything is AOK!

You lied. Ashley Babbit was shot. No officer died as a result of the attack. Several people had heart attacks on the same day and one person accidentally o.d.'d on a prescription drug. https://www.factcheck.org/2021/11/how-many-died-as-a-result-of-capitol-riot/ -
...and never use it? What is it? Bomb making materials. Every shooter seems to have bomb making materials in their car/home but they never actually use them. Is it a rule somewhere that you have to have part of a bomb before you can go postal? Bomb technicians identified “suspicious devices” in Crooks’s home and vehicle that were sent to an FBI laboratory for testing, the FBI said. Aldrich was arrested in June 2021, accused of threatening their grandparents and vowing to become “the next mass killer ″ while stockpiling weapons, body armor and bomb-making materials. Las Vegas shooting: Key bomb ingredient found in Stephen Paddock's car The shooter also left behind a number of explosive devices both inside and outside the school, including a Molotov cocktail found in a vehicle and CO2 device found in a home.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/trump-vice-president-running-mate-pick-jd-vance-rcna157485 We will see if this is consequential or not. I'm guessing it might have an effect in the margins. There might be a few fence sitters that don't like Trump or Biden but think Vance would be a better replacement if/when the POTUS dies. Time will tell. Mostly this is an election about the anti's. Anti-Trump vote v Anti-Biden vote.
