Nice to see Trump displaying his maturity level, as per usual. There is a lot of speculation in America that the true reason for Trump animosity towards Freeland, is that she stood up to him, during the USMCA negotiations, and Trump actually ended up with an arguably poorer deal than he had with NAFTA. Plus Freeland is a woman, and Trump has had a history of treating women who stand up to him poorly.

Vikings lead the Bears 20-3, going into the 4th Quarter. Considering how bad the Bears are, I am just going to assume Minnesota will win. The win gives them a record of 12-2, tied for 1st with Detroit. From here, it gets more difficult for the Vikes. Next week they play in Seattle against the 1st place Seahawks. The they play the 10-4 Packers. Assuming they win at least one of those games, the division and possibly the Conference championship can come down to the final game vs the Lions in Detroit.

I saw the fight, and it looks like father time caught up to Tyson. His legs are shot. That is to be expected for a 58 year old man. For the first couple of rounds, it looked like Tyson would win, but then his legs quit on him. Paul wisely kept his distance from Tyson, since it seemed every time he came close, Tyson landed some shots, and would have knocked Paul out. Paul fought smart, and took advantage of his reach advantage, and was mainly throwing jabs against Tyson. Overall it was a lousy fight. Not worth spending money on seeing.

Can you provide evidence that this is happening on a grand scale? In my lifetime, I have never heard of this type of thing going on in the Prairie Provinces. There are zero schools in Canada, that I am aware that encourage children, to have to endure strip shows by Transgender people. I've always made it clear that I think biological males competing in women's sports is cheating, as men are on average, stronger, faster, have higher bone density, and larger in size. They should be banned from women's sports. Having said that, I was curious as to how many biological males are competing in women's sports in America. One estimate says it is roughly 100, of a population of 338 million. It's not right, but hardly the issue that people of the right make it out to be. I'm not in favour of biological men being in women's personal spaces (change rooms, etc). You have become a victim of ridiculous propaganda, that suggests this is a problem in every single school in North America (it is not), and if we fail to act now, tens of thousands of children will be brainwashed into wanting gender reassignment surgery (there is no evidence of this happening). People have the right to dress up how they wish in their personal spare time, whether it be private clubs, or in their own home. Are you in favour of banning Halloween too? Are you in favour of shutting down Gay bars, and criminalising them, since the odd person in the bar dresses in drag? I live in a city of over 1,000,000 people, and I may see one Transgender person a year. It is not a widespread problem.

After coming back to Earth, the Jets won last night against Montreal, winning 4-2. Hellebuyck won again, and is leading the NHL in most goalie stats. Connor, Schelfele, Vilardi, and Perfetti are playing great. Prospect Nikita Chibrikov is really turning heads, and hopefully will stay up with the team. On defense, Josh Morrissey has arguably been one of the best blue liners of the past five years. I hope Samberg returns. Logan Stanley has been a pylon, and I have no idea why he is still in the lineup. At 6'7, one would expect him to use his size, but he is soft, and cannot really fight. I hope Heinola and Salomonsson make the permanent lineup and replace him. As for goaltending, Hellebuyck remains the best goalie in the NHL. signing him was the best move the Jets have made in the last couple of years, and the team will live and die, according to his play. Comrie is popular in Winnipeg, but not at all ready to replace Helle if he goes down with injury. I really miss Brossoit, but he signed for big money elsewhere.

I never have understood this animosity towards Transgenders for the past 5 years. Personally, I have met a handful of transgenders, but otherwise, it is a nothing burger. I don't have a strong opinion either way. I am also not influenced by ridiculous propaganda. Transgender people are not "grooming children in schools." In fact, I have never known any Transgenders in powerful positions. What I do know, is that the tactics of the MAGA clan to vilify this group of people that makes up roughly 0.5% of the population is eerily reminiscent of what Germany did to it's Jewish population (0.9% of the population) in the 1930s.

First off, it will definitely tank the economy, since American-born people will never work for minimum wage, in 40C or worse, with no human or worker rights, on mainly American farms. How are the owners of the farms going to survive, let alone, get their products to market? And if you think Americans will sit passively by, while the military comes into every American city and town, to do Gestapo-like roundups of undocumented workers, you may be in for an unpleasant surprise. The killing of one Black man in 2020, cause widespread protests and riots throughout the country. You actually think Americans will not riot (or worse, start a civil war), if the military invades all American cities?

well, if you want to use that yard stick, America has had far more riots than Canada, especially in the last decade.
