Its official - the shooter was a democrat.
CdnFox replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It's barely regulated at all. There's some but compared to what there could be it's practically nothing. There are certainly some like bernie sanders and kamala who want to introduce a hell of a lot more, but currently it' at best lightly regulated. -
LOL - well that's what you'd expect someone who coudn't understand and rewrote what they said to say Uh oh - back to your signature insults when you know you're wrong i see You're a bit of a broken little person arent you And back to your kiddie porn fetish. Boy you sure spend a lot of time thinking about kiddie porn Still crying i see. did you want me to get you a jello or something?

It has. But it's very undesirable on any kind of scale. Pure capitalism is only slightly better than pure socialism/communism. -

Time. The election isn't for well over a year, and that's before he can even consider where the best place to put money would be. Who can say what companies will open up by then or close by then or what investment capital will look like by then or what advancements in a variety of fields currently being studied will be, etc etc What kind of !diot would decide what investment is best YEARS before he can actually invest? Other than you? Sure if someone's got a really solid plan for one This is so simple and you're losing your mind over it. There are a number of technologies that, if developed, will make it easier to get away from fossil fuels or will mitigate climate change. When he comes to power he will likely look at a 'climate' plan that includes investing in whichever ones are most promising at the time. Now will you please try to get yourself back together? I'm really starting to worry about you. Me. He's talked about planting trees but no numbers. It was an example. But the report in 2017 saying remove the trees in the national park or it'll burn down (and it just burnt down) did not However we're not talking about blame for the beetles, we're talking about taking responsibility for helping mitigate the damages and the risk. He can pay to cut down and dispose of some of the beetle kill and to replant those areas with new trees. I don't know that would do much for climate change in the big picture but i'll do more than the carbon tax did and it would be very good to get rid of that matchbox stuff and have healthy forests again. Then you should have stopped the libs from doing it. Spoke out, arranged other liberals to write and protest it, whatever. As was predicted, it's done nothing for climate change and it's hurting the economy, and now people are going to be turned off climate change. -

No, capitalism requires a FREE market, unhindered by regulation or excessive gov't control. My god - i' m still sometimes shocked at how little you know. True capitalsm wants a 'Laissez-faire' market, basically no rules. But that has problems. Pure socialism or communism wants the gov't to "own" and control everything - it would own all the means of production, tell you how much of what product you would acquire or be issued, collect and sell all of the things you produce. In between that there are variations of 'market' economies. "Fair market" where there's regulation to help prevent the inevitable oligarchy or monopolies laissez-faire produces, or some regulation to help level the boom and bust cycles that it tends to produce. On the other side, socialists allow for SOME market activity and private ownership of production, but they control the market extremely and milk it's profits and force it in certain directions that they feel benefits society rather than the individual. Capitalism is the greatest engine we've ever found for wealth creation and innovation, and socialism tends to be the opposite. So socialists try to harness some of the beneftis of a market economy while still essentially 'owning' the production by way of regulation and control and taxation. So there you go. Hopefully you've learned something. LOL the us economy is NOT highly regulated at all. -

Was the simpsons the opening of a world event intended to bring the countries of the world together and to be a celebration of the accoplishments of their greatest athletes? Nope. Is the purpose of the simpsons to mock and satire the world specifically to cause people to reflect and laugh? Yep. Are you a bit of an !diot for even trying to make that comparison. Ohhh hell yeh. -
LOL - i always love how YOUR stupidity and inability to present any evidence for your argument is somehow MY fault So nobody who is qualified has actually come out and said it's wrong. It's just your opinion. Based on your extensive legal training and degree from Facebook University. well that's nice. Given some of your assertions in the past i'd say at best your opinion is questionable. But right or wrong, until a competent authority actually says "this is a violation", then it's not a violation. There IS a process if a supreme court justice is found to do something unlawful and nobody seems interested in putting that forward so obviously nobody who's NOT politically motivated and is qualified to speak on it agrees with you I think that was more about influence peddling. Hunter isn't a supreme court justice. According to you. but in reality you can't produce any competent authority that agrees, and so far when asked you can't even provide the actual rule. Now if you want to say that justices shouldn't get any such gifts declared or not and put laws (not some weird rule you can't cite) into place to really help prevent any conflict of interest or the appearance thereof then sure. I'm kind of a fan of that myself. But if you're going to claim this guy has done something wrong under the CURRENT rules... you have fallen miles short of that so far.

Who said it wasn't? What's your point? Yep. He'll do something to give the leftie losers who've already blown the issue something to chew on. Why is that funny to you? DO you really tho? Yeah i didn't think so. Who knows? Whatever tech looks the most promising when he actually comes to power and can see where things are at. Whatever makes the most sense at the time given the state of technology, the available companies and existing investment to work with, what's being developed or deployed around the world. How is that so difficult for you to get? Honestly if you can't understand the simple idea that before we can move away from fossil fuels we need more advanced tech and investing in it's development might help speed that along then you're just not at a level to be having this conversation. Yeah but it'll look like we're doing something and hey, it's a million more trees so at least we'll have more trees which is nice. Maybe it can go with clearing out some of that beetle kill and refreshing the forests so we don't have more jaspers, unlike the libs. It's not going to do much. But it'll look like we're doing something and it won't cost much and we'll actually get some small benefit if we can get rid of those beetle kill areas. But that's the point. If you wanted to do something REAL about climate change - then you needed to get rid of the tax 10 years ago and do something that actually WOULD make a difference without trashing our economy. After 10 years of the libs demanding the carbon tax would solve all our problems and now people can't even afford to eat properly climate change is falling to a very low priority for the next few years. -

NNoooo.... Read it slowly, it's ok to mumble to yourself as you do if that helps... Because of Jasper’s unique location within a National Park, the local government does not have control over land use and planning. Parks Canada is responsible for land use planning, development and environmental matters. Land use and planing. Development AND ENVIRONMENTAL MATTERS. Your own link has proved you to be entirely wrong. You're a useless leftie drunk who can't even read his own links. Jasper is not responsible for the management of that forest - the feds are. And they were warned in 2017 that leaving the beetle kill there would be a disaster. And they left it. Now there's a disaster. You're a typical zombie leftie repeating what you've been told without the ability to even read your own sources for god's sake. -

Your own link says you're a liar. From YOUR LINK. The Municipality of Jasper is responsible for things like: road clearing and maintenance water treatment and supply community centers collecting municipal taxes making and enforcing bylaws managing waste Because of Jasper’s unique location within a National Park, the local government does not have control over land use and planning. Parks Canada is responsible for land use planning, development and environmental matters. THAT IS YOUR LINK YOU F*KING TARD. Thank you for taking the time to prove i was right you drunk loser. Maybe next time drink less and think more. Sounds like you've been eating enough shit for everyone. -

It literally says it's a national park you illiterate drunk. The one where it says its a parks canada site? Because you already know you're wrong and that's why you're doing cheap little things like misquoting people deliberately You're the kind of loser who lashes out like a child when he realizes he's made a mistake and wants his own stupidity to be evreyone else's fault. You clearly know you were wrong and you look stupid so of course you run with your tail between your legs. Dumbass. Well at least people can see you for what you are. And maybe you should get some help with that drinking, obviously it's still a problem. -

Here you go, just because you're obviously unfamiliar with the area or how maps work . You see the part in green? That's the NATIONAL FOREST. You see where it says the wildfire started? That's in the national forest. It's no where near jasper. Do you know who manages the National Forest where the FOREST FIRE started? Think carefully now... is it Jasper? NOPE. Is it the province? NOPE. Is it..... the feds? DING DING DING!!!! No wonder you focus on shit all the time, you are what you eat. -

Jasper national park is a NATIONAL PARK. Guess where the wood and the forest is you f*cking shit for brains drunk Jasper National Park (canada.ca) A 'forest' fire starts in the FOREST. Like - it was right there, how'd you screw that up? And mangement of the FOREST is a FEDERAL issue because it's a FEDERAL FOREST. That's where the beetle kill is, The fire didn't start in the town did it. Damn kid - how the hell do you get your pants on in the morning being that stupid? LOL oh look the drunk with the fecal fetish is misquoting people because he can't refute what they say You're so upset that you were wrong that this is the only way you can lash out? Sounds like you're not the only drunk in the family, i take it your mom titled a few back when she was pregnant as well. -
I think she's just reached peak-ditz. But yeah, the more they see her the less comfortable that people will be with her. She seems to be moving towards this odd tactic of claiming trump is 'weird'. First off - that really doesn't scare anyone, some of our culture's greatest figures were weird, and second damn woman have you listened to yourself?

Nope. Management of that forest is the sole responsibility of the federal gov't. it is up to them to make sure that the forest is managed to reduce fire risk. It is a national park, it is not a "municipality like any other". Swing and a miss stupid. As to cuts in firefighting... CdnFox replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Well i guess that's a pretty good way of saying you're a bias !diot who doesn't know what they're talking about. The only people saying that the beetle kill wasn't a problem or a major factor is people who have an interest in protecting the federal gov't. AND regardless any actions to protect the park would come from the federal gov't. A report was given to the feds in 2017. It was ignored. It said exactly this kind of thing would happen. And now that it's happened exactly as predicted you're pushing the narrative that it was all a conspiracy theory. But sure. Huge stands of wood that burns like napalm that the feds were warned about had nothing to do with it. And nobody anywhere could predict there may be a fire in a forest and maybe do something to protect the town. Let me guess - you're one of those m0r0ns who thinks that Justin trudeau has been a perfect prime minister, our economy is great and things are super affordable.🙄 But really, what can one expect from someone who's primary identity element is that he drives drunk and whos' big contribution to the conversation is to literally talk about shit and make weird fantasy stories about people being pedophiles. You're a useless person. I sincerely hope your parents are dead so they don't have to go through the shame of watching what you've become. Oh, and offense. Nope - the ndp started gutting it when they were in power. Swing and a miss again shit-boy.
