While the well organized Washingtonian troop would line up and fire straight at the Redcoats in similar fashion, militias invented the concept of guerilla warfare, firing from all over the place: from behind trees, from foxholes, behind large stones. It was the MILITIAS who did most of the damage and had Cornwallis backed up against the Atlantic, when the French FINALLY show up with ships and troops. The source is an expert. White Privilege does not exist. Neither does Asian Privilege, (since Asian Americans are richer, have better jobs and more college degrees than white people.) You may not like the facts, but they exist whether you like them or not. And yes, there is such a thing as inequity, but today in America, RACE is neither the reason for it nor an excuse to whine about it. Some people are stupid. Some are smart. Some people are lazy. Actually, an adult doing a 13 year old would be considered statutory rape, which is a crime. And liberals/socialists don't seem to have a problem with crime.

That is actually an intelligent question. The answer is the age of consent is 18. According to the law, no one below the age of 18 can have sex with an adult, buy cigarettes, buy alcohol, get a tattoo, etc. There is a term in family law called STATUTORY RAPE. Adults go to prison for this crime. Only in Muslim countries, (where old men can MARRY 9 year olds without their consent) is there a lack of STATUTORY RAPE laws.

The big names in American conservatism would be William F. Buckley, Ronald Reagan, Rush Limbaugh, etc. Buckley pioneered the complex process of conservatism, a lot from a libertarian point of view. He was an intellectual that made the hybrid liberals from the Port Huron Statement look like children, ( and those liberals were actually deep thinkers). Ronald Reagan redefined conservatism with his amazing presidency. Adopting the economics principles of the best minds in America (Milton Friedman, etc) he fashioned (a) the greatest and fastest growing economy of all time, and (b) made America safer than it had ever been in the past by defeating the USSR without firing a shot. Rush Limbaugh accomplished the impossible. He broke the liberal monopoly in the news media and talk radio. People call him the savior of AM talk radio. He paved the way, not only for great conservative talk models (Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Neal Boorz, Michael Savage) his success led to the creation of FoxNews, the FIRST international news source to give equal time to both sides of the aisle, left and right. It hurts to mention Ayn Rand in all this, even as Atlas Shrugged is the greatest novel I've ever read. She had some very negative things to say about conservatives (although conservatives in her time were nowhere near the ideology of the Buckley/Reagan/Limbaugh crowd.) And her inner circle of friends and supporters said she was an embarrassment at times, being very irrational and impulsive. She had the morals of a mink, breaking up marriages any time it suited her. She was almost VIOLENTLY opposed to any viewpoint other than her own.
