Actually, the concept of using a gun to settle disagreements was OUTLAWED in the United States. It was called DUELING, and was outlawed in 1859. Dueling is legal in Texas but with fists only. Whoever says that half the firearms in the US are owned by 3% of the population is high on meth. Pretty much EVERY violent criminal has a gun. In states that cherish the Constitution, (Texas, MIssissippi, West Virginia, Florida, etc) a lot more than 3% own a firearm.
