The implication of that statement is that the laws are being misapplied. They aren't. We just have elected officials who are breaking the law. And it shows up in obvious ways, in which it would be an abdication of responsibility to not investigate and prosecute. These people aren't being targeted because they are elected officials. They're doing the same things that get many corrupt people in trouble. They just also happen to be elected officials. This is my local news. We've watched it unfold since shortly after he was elected. The New Yorker: The Most Obvious Scandal in the History of New York City

It's cute that you guys learned a new word, but calling everything related to legal accountability "lawfare" sort of dilutes the meaning of the word to nothing. Adams (and those in his closest orbit) have been indicted because it's become increasingly obvious that they were breaking laws--and for self-serving purposes. Just run-of-the-mill corruption. Nothing on the level of trying to trade military aid for campaign favors. At some point the "party of personal responsibility" has become absolute allergic to basic accountability.

This is just the public arrival of the new American oligarchy. Nothing says "efficiency" like a new government agency--and co-chairs to boot. Nothing says "populist" like putting billionaires in charge of deregulating their own industries. You can't say you weren't warned, but to all the poor and working class voters who bought the song and dance, this is just the first in a long line of betrayals. Luckily he's named a Fox News host as the Secretary of Defense. So, sticking with the theme of super qualified people--"the best people!"

Shop at Costco instead of Walmart

I know that your memory isn't what it used to be (on account of your advanced decrepitude) by it wasn't very many months ago you and most of the rest of the goons here were firmly enthusiastic about a MAGA boycott of Bud Light because the had the audacity to include one trans person in their stable of influence marketers. Now that's an example of a childishly pathetic boycott. -
His health care plan has been "two weeks away" for about 9 years, so I don't think 2 years will be enough to accomplish his day 1 priorities. Just math.

I've been watching Fox and CNN coverage side by side and the differences are stark. The sophisticated and speed of the CNN coverage is significantly better. Partly because John King is pretty badass. Partly because there isn't a panel of commentators waiting to take turns fellating Trump. Long night.

Is that Trump's hurricane map?

All this bltching and moaning about 90 seconds of airtime on a comedy show? Jeebus. As if Trump doesn't get enough media attention? They let him HOST SNL in 2015, FFS. But now Kamala is on for 90 seconds and the MAGA cultists are crapping their pants about how unfair it is? Bullshit. It's just another excuse for faux outrage at established media. No one actually cares or finds this meaningful.

To what end, dummy? You degenerates don't care that he's a philandering, amoral piece of shit. You didn't care about his fraud. You didn't care that he steals from his charities. You don't care that he lies. You don't care that he commits sexual assault. You don't care that he's a rapist. ^^All of that established as fact in court So why would anyone go to the trouble of using AI (which you bumpkins apparently think is MUCH better than it is) to make up a story about him just being sleazy. Which everyone already knows anyway.

Let's talk about Kamala Harris' Accomplishments

There are dozens of reputable sources for business news. Doesn't really matter which you choose. It will come with analysis from an economist who will explain the anomalous numbers in October. Forbes, CNBC, the Economist, Business Insider, WSJ etc. -

More basic information that my dog will understand long before you can. He's not even an especially smart dog. 🤷♀️ -

That's just silly. The mob has power over their "protectees." You simply cannot force the POTUS to do anything. The only "threat" to Biden was that he would lose donor support and media buy for a race he was already losing. -

Find an article from any reputable source of economic news. Then read it and educate yourself. Pretending these numbers are meaningful is just flying your ignorant bumpkin flag. -

You people have no idea where the word "coup" means, do you? I'm give you a hint. It does NOT describe a scenario in which one person chooses not to campaign and someone else is nominated instead. -

Sure. Biden's an all-powerful wizard who can manipulate the labor market to troll his VP.🙄 -

Didn't read the article or didn't understand the article? This has been well covered. It's two hurricanes and two large labor strikes showing up. The job market is just fine.
