I wasn't sure about Pete Hegseth
Hodad replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You people will say ANYTHING. Lol There simply is no argument that a person with no significant executive experience is qualified to lead an organization with 1.5 million people and nearly a trillion dollars in budget. That is not an every level position. And it's not a defensible position. You sound like buffoons when you fall all over yourself trying to play it off as reasonable. "He was IN the military!" Sure, with no senior leadership roles or national security experience. "She was a shift manager at McDonald's for 20 years! Of course she's ready to be CEO!" Not to mention that a month ago you same asshats were lined up to mock service in the Minnesota National Guard as "playing soldier." But as hypocrites with no integrity you've memory-holed those positions. He's a joke and so are you. -
You really can't exclude Reagan there. His economy was on debt steroids, overspending at record levels. The GHWB recession was in many ways just the come-down from Reagan excesses. GHWB was the only"fiscally responsible" Republican in the modern era. And, of course, Trump's fiscal policy was epically irresponsible. Record-setting awful.

KSU: "Pardon me, sir. I don't mean to interrupt your crazy rant. People will think I'm super special if I stop and engage you in a debate about the crazy shit you're saying. I apparently have a loooot of free time and endless patience. Do you have any literature I might peruse." You know, to help me sharpen my arguments."
-
I'm glad you can name one thing. Now break out the rest of your fingers (however many you have left) and start counting upward until you get to "numerous." Again, the Mueller report DIRECTLY contradicts what you said about the Mueller report. -- So how is this asinine "conversation" dragging on for pages. Just be wrong and move on with your life--whatever that may mean.
-
And, more tellingly, if Trump wasn't aware and discovered that Manafort had betrayed him by sharing sensitive campaign info with the Russians then Trump would not have pardoned Manafort. -- Trump is a vindictive shit. He rewards loyalty and punishes anything that can be construed at disloyalty. He protected and rewarded Manafort, not just for sake of loyalty, but also Manafort wouldn't roll on him. Trump knew.
-
No, it wasn't you useless, squishy turd. Do you know what the word "numerous" means? I'll help you out. It means many--more than one, more than a few or several. First and farking foremost among those many relationships is Campaign Manager Paul Manafort sending campaign research and strategy to a Russian intelligence operative who was working against the American people.
-
You're as dumb as a goddamn bag of hammers. I didn't move the goalpost. I literally quoted your claim. And I literally quoted from the Mueller report which contradicts your claim. Again, for the bag-of-hammers crowd. You claimed, " Yes he concluded after his racketeering scam that he could not establish a connection between any American and the Russian government." From the Mueller report: "The investigation also identified numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump Campaign." It's not hidden. It's page farking ONE.
-
Well, I mean, good for them, I guess. But, honestly, could there possibly be anything in that report that is disqualifying. Republicans ran a sex abuser/rapist for the presidency and for unfathomable reasons, Americans elected him. Now we're going to pretend that prostitution or statutory rape or sex trafficking is disqualifying to the AG? I mean, of course it SHOULD be disqualifying, but this is not that America anymore.
-
Retract? No, you are quite factually lying. Deliberately. Without hesitation or shame. You claimed, " Yes he concluded after his racketeering scam that he could not establish a connection between any American and the Russian government." As has been quoted for you from multiple actual sources, Mueller did indeed find multiple connections between the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence agents. Most notably the info pipeline from Manafort to Kilimnik. The subsequent Senate intelligence report confirmed and expanded on these findings. And Kilimnik was ultimately determined to have delivered the Manafort intelligence directly to the Russian Intelligence agency running the misinformation campaign. He's formally sanctioned for it. All a matter of public record. You're such a clown. I even gave you a link to the Mueller report and you still can't manage to cite it. Jeebus.

Sure. It's more 7D chess to put a TV host who's never managed anything in charge of something as complex and sophisticated as US defense. Finally, uninformed hot-takes from Fox and Friends will become defense policy. Utterly unqualified philandering TV personality? No wonder Trump likes him. -
Holy shit, man. Every single person on this forum can see that you've linked to an ABA news release. It's right there in the URL for everyone to read. And the text you are quoting is from Trump's AG, William Barr, not the Mueller report. You are not fooling anyone. Just because you're dumb does not mean that everyone else on this forum suffers from the same condition. Just give it up, you buffoon.
-
That's not the Mueller report, you clown. FFS. You're quoting an ABA site that's quoting William Barr's bogus summary of the Mueller report. Which Mueller specifically rejected. Again, you are lying--shamelessly lying--which is exactly why you can't quote any such conclusion from Mueller. You've been challenged multiple times, and have even gone to the effort of quoting OTHER sources, but cannot manage to quote the Mueller report. (Hint: because you're making it up.) Because you are not very bright and because you are wildly dishonest I'm going to spare the folks playing along at home the an-ti-ci-pation. This is what the Mueller report says about Kilimnik. "The FBI, however, assesses that Kilimnik has ties to Russian intelligence. Several pieces of the Officeβs evidenceβincluding witness interviews and emails obtained through court authorized search warrantsβsupport that assessment" Essentially everyone knew that Kilimnik was Russian intelligence. It wasn't a secret. And indeed he passed Manafort's targeting intel to the agency running the interference campaign.
-
No evidence, except, you know, for all the evidence that lead US intelligence services to conclusively determine that Kilimnik did work for Russian intelligence. And that he was formally sanctioned for taking Manafort's information directly to Russian intelligence. π Again, what's happening here is that you, a know-nothing internet rando want to assert without evidence that the official conclusions of US intelligence are wrong. That you have better information. Forgive us if we think you're a clown. You're simply lying. Again, the fact that you're lying is why you cannot cite any such conclusion.
-
Again, the Trump admin literally signed the instrument of "surrender" and took out 90% of the troops. That's just the basic facts of the matter. Trump gave the country back to the Taliban. I'm sure you'll be cheering along with the other fools as the Trump administration starts "decentralizing" our other basic constitutional rights. Why should the FedGov be "regulating" freedom of the press? Freedom of religion? So crazy. π
-
Internal polling and sensitive campaign strategy information. You know, just casual stuff delivered in extreme coordinated secrecy, one bro to another. Just a coincidence that it was exactly the information Russian intelligence needed to coordinate their interference and misinformation tactics in support of the Trump campaign. Totally normal, uninteresting stuff! And, please, cry me a river about US intelligence having the audacity to surveil people who were working with Russian intelligence. π
-
Oh, really? The Republican-led senate select committee on intelligence conclusively reports that: "Manafort hired and worked increasingly closely with a Russian national, Konstantin Kilimnik. Kilimnik is a Russian intelligence officer." You disagree? You have secret information that the US intelligence agencies don't have? You should be an ally and help them out right away. π

Thanks for this thread. I dropped about $1600 on a chandelier tonight and Wayfair was not in contention. Deleted the app, which I had used quite a bit in the past. -
You claim that Trump "decentralized government regulation of abortion." Which is just asinine. He didn't do anything, but his pet justices on the SCOTUS sure did. And theu did was to take from individual Americans a constitutionally recognized right to abortion. Get it? They didn't do anything to decentralize regulation. They stripped away an individual right. It would be no different than stripping away individual rights to free speech and making it a "states issue." Decentralized regulation of abortion. OMFG. That is indeed propaganda of the highest order. Not to mention that "decreasing our international military presence" by surrendering to the Taliban and undermining our alliances-- present and future--aren't exactly wins. As soon as he's able, he'll "reduce our military" support of Ukraine by gifting it to his dictator buddy.
-
Do you ever read the articles you post? They suspected the campaign was colluding with Russia because the campaign manager was colluding with Russian intelligence. βThey were making contacts and bumping Trump people going back to March 2016,β a source told the outlet. I'll give you one guess when Manafort joined the Trump campaign.π«£

Sure, Dummy. Obama tricked Manafort into sharing information with his Russian spy buddy. He tricked Don Jr. and Kusher into taking formal meetings with Russian assets who claimed to be able to give them dirt on Clinton. And Obama definitely tricked Roger Stone into getting involved in the dunno of the Russian hacks to WikiLeaks No reason at all to investigate this ties. Just Obama the puppet master running the world.
