The reason for the deportations of immigrants
Hodad replied to Gaétan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Lol. As in, not a document FROM Congress, but a "report" submitted TO Congress--from a designated hate group, no less. Your going to need to reconsider your understanding of the word "proved." -

Did you hurt your back moving that goalpost? Can't man up and own the mistake? Aside from trying to cite CIS, can you think of any problems with that phrasing? -

Protip: You don't have to quote someone to post one of your senile rants, apropos of nothing. You can just post it on it's own. -

A. You should provide evidence for these claims. A citation at minimum. B. If it's an NY City program the city is "picking up the tab" and there may or may not be state and federal funds in the mix--managed by the city. C. These programs are implemented this way for the same reason that federal programs use a debit system: because it's a hell of a lot cheaper to let people shop at stores than to create a parallel logistics and distribution network for government goods. D. Someone who has been granted asylum or in the asylum process is not illegal or undocumented. E. People in that process are legally prohibited from working until they have work permits. They're not to freeloading. They're doing as we require. It's only polite to not let them freeze or starve. 🙄 -

Read your own link, dipshit. "Only U.S. citizens and certain lawfully present non-citizens may receive SNAP benefits. SNAP is not and has never been available to undocumented non-citizens." -

Bullshit. The undocumented are not eligible for welfare or food "stamps." -
A. Within 36 hours 5 people involved had died. B. How is that farking relevant to your asinine claim that firing the agents who investigated this massive, violent attack on our legislators amounts to dismantling a banana Republic. Obviously--hugely farking OBVIOUSLY--that incident must be investigated. Only in a "banana Republic" would a politically constituted police force not investigate something like that perpetrated by "their side." Which is exactly what Trump is broadcasting loud and clear: no independent justice to hold him accountable.

The audacity of the FBI to investigate a deadly insurrection at the Capitol. Only in a banana Republic would such a thing happen. We should definitely fire all the agents asked to investigate that event and replace them with strict political loyalists who would never investigate such a thing. So that we won't be a banana Republic, you know? Jeebus.

Don't Like Mass Deportation?

The democrats tried to fix laws with laws. Tyrants need not bother with such trivial things. -

It's cute when you try to mix up your spam posts with something new. But also a pretty great reminder that you just aren't good at thinking for yourself. Undocumented immigrant labor isn't undercutting anyone. Americans simply won't do those jobs, even at higher wages. This has been tried before at scales large and small. What ends up happening is that produce rots in the fields, as is currently happening in California. And while suffering in California is always amusing to the red states, they won't be laughing when orange juice doubles in price and avocados are like caviar. Sure, there's a price somewhere along the curve where Americans would be willing to do hard, manual labor again, but by the time we hit it, the goods are too expensive. Again, this isn't theory. It's been played out several times. But Trump knows even less about economics than you, and that's saying something. -

Republicans adding to the list of why we think they're stupid. They--especially the poor-- complain about the price of eggs but are super excited to add meat and produce to the list. COVID wasn't that long ago, but the mental goldfish are eager for another massive shock to the economy. Dumb, dumb, dumb. -
I know, I know, the Fuhrer shall not be questioned or defied under any circumstances. Absolute obedience is the only solution. Buuuuut, these people have worked "for him" for 9 days at this point, so I strongly suspect that they haven't developed any "with cause" cases for termination based on insubordinance. Let's be real. You would have been in a tizzy if Biden had come into office and purged Republicans from government, because that's simply not the way things work in a first-world democracy. You should be similarly disturbed by "your guy" taking such actions. But you'll embarrass yourself by pretending like this is normal, reasonable behavior because it's convenient in the moment. You're not fooling anybody.

What a dry sense of humor.
