Property taxes are what you pay when your house is already built and receiving the services ...whatever they may be. 'Mail has nothing to do with building a house, neither do the services received after the house is built... that is also a local municipality issue. The red tape I am talking about is in the building of the homes and and infrastructure required to support the house which is now at the provincial and local level. Decades ago there was a housing issue as well and the feds had what was called an AHOP (Assisted Home Ownership Program) program. Maybe that is something from the past that can be resurrected https://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2017/schl-cmhc/NH15-511-1980-eng.pdf

WOW, you are so full of it. Does it just leak out or do you have to grunt to make it come out? LOL LOL LOL I am sad..... I am not your comrade any more? sniff sniff sniff -
Poilievre claims only his party supports working Canadians. However, conservatives have never championed programs like the Canada Child Benefit, Early Learning Child Care, or school nutrition. In contrast, liberals introduced anti-scab legislation (C-58) and doubled the Innovation program to $50 million to support apprenticeships. They also reduced income tax rates from 22% to 20.5% for incomes between $ 70 and $ 120,000. Additionally, a new 33% tax bracket for incomes over $ 200,000.

WOW...did you come up with that all by yourself???? HA HA HA -
The federal Liberals are holding 43 per cent of support amongst decided Canadian voters, maintaining a lead over the Conservatives, who dropped two points last month to 36 per cent, according to a new Postmedia-Leger poll. Almost half of Canadians (49 per cent) indicated they are satisfied with Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Liberal government, Satisfaction with federal opposition leaders remains low, with Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre at 31 per cent, Carney leads as the preferred prime minister amongst 40 per cent of those polled, followed by Poilievre at 28 per cent. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/liberals-maintain-43-per-cent-110049721.html Poilievre claims only his party supports working Canadians. Hey LOSER, the name of the aircraft is Gripen. The Swedes named it Gripen. No matter how hard you try to obfuscate...the name is still Gripen ....not griffin or griffen Your post is BS and useless.... as usual. LOL LOSER strikes out again HA HA HA -
I think provincial and federal "red tape" has been all but eliminated. In my area, the municipal "red tape" still exists and the municipality say it is their right. I think the "fees"are for all the infrastructure and forms and permissions for the house. I think if you had to pay it ...you would not be building a house. When PP was a minister....he made promises and did not keep them. Harpers government had a lot to say about housing too but it went nowhere. So, don't throw stones in that glass house.
-
The federal government (or provincial or municipal government) are not construction companies. At best, governments can predict and hope housing will be built but, unless private contractors and construction companies can see away to make a profit, there will be nothing built. They can allocate funds but someone has to take up the offer.
-
BS. Prove it. LOL Updates are not legislation so,np approval is required. "he financial cycle is an annual parliamentary process that facilitates the review, approval, and oversight of government financial priorities, budgetary policies, and public spending." "The federal government of Canada does not have a strict legal requirement to present an annual budget or a specific number of fiscal updates per year,"
-
Just giving you the proper information. You are welcome Nope, makes sense s the budget is for the future year.... " Shift in timing: The federal budget will now be presented in the fall to align with a new budgetary cycle. Capital vs. operational spending: This new cycle will separate capital and operational spending. Capital investments, such as those in housing and infrastructure, will be announced in the fall budget. Day-to-day operational spending, such as transfers, social programs, and government salaries, will be addressed in other reports. Reason for change: This change is intended to provide a clearer picture of fiscal planning and allow the government to address both capital and operational expenditures more strategically. "
-
Duhhh, the next budget will be next Fall "Canada will now present its federal budget in the fallwith the first one under the new system being Budget 2025 which was tabled on November 4, 2025. This change moves the annual budget from the spring and will be followed by a spring economic and fiscal update. The government states the new timing is to provide more certainty and predictability for planning, particularly for businesses and other levels of government"
