  1. I disagree, that is what reporting used to be. Journalism, to me, is telling a story, and it can be biased and opinionated. Reporting, on the other hand, is just that, report what is going on...period.
  2. Yup, gotta believe the Social Media Networks. They are the real deal LOL
  3. Post that on the lengthy Shit that Trudeau Needs To Do thread. LOL
  4. Did you even listen to your clips??? "You are so out to lunch" is not me but yourself. The mayor never said anything about the arson in the clip you linked. The Global news report only quoted one woman that made a personal unsubstantiated statement. The Police said on the news they had no evidence that the arson had anything to do with the convoy. People like you make shit up and perpetuate it to satisfy your own agenda. You do not have any idea what went on here except from your own conspiracy news networks and they were almost entirely BS. You even give the real legit protesters a bad name LOL
  5. That is a load of BS. I live here and saw the reports, the news and the print. No one accused anyone of anything. It was on the news for days as they were hoping someone could identify the guys. They even said they did not and could not connect the arson attempt to the convoy protest. I think maybe your Facebook News Network may have made those claims but none of the news media in Ottawa did.
  6. Why a hoax? They showed security footage of someone setting fire inside an apartment lobby. When this was shown, they asked if anyone could identify the persons. They never said it had anything to do with the protest. They even said the police were not sure why the guys did this. When they caught one guy, they stated he had nothing to do with the protest as stated in the article "there is no information indicating the accused was involved in any way with the convoy protest, " Hoax? What hoax?? Sometimes you folks really gotta shake out the conspiracy shit in your heads.
  7. As I understand the Azov regiment was pro Ukraine ad defended Ukraine against the Russians and was incorporated into the Ukraine military in 2022. They are fighting the Russians and the Ukraine needs everyone to help them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azov_Battalion
  8. Are you the president of your local conspiracy theory club LOL
  9. Could you find out what Jagmeets' worth was before he became a politician and leader of the NDP? Was he a millionaire before?
  10. As I said, "Canadians voted for them and the programs they were selling at the time" So, here we are, a Liberal/NDP government with a pharmacare and dentalcare program coming. You my not have expected it and i do not see why not as it was obvious the moment the throne speech was read and the NDP voted for it... already being in bed with the Liberals and they have not left the bed LOL As a matter of fact, the pulled the covers up in the bed LOL
  11. Ha! Sounds like the same whining the Liberals used when Ford won in Ontario. Bottom line is enough Canadians in the right places voted for Justin and Jagmeet. So yes, Canadians voted for them and the programs they were selling at the time...which are the same ones that are proposed now.
  12. We voted for these programs last election. They were on the platforms and plans of both Liberal and NDP. No sense whining now, we voted them in and looks like we will have them until 2025. By then, Canadians will have forgotten all this and will vote Liberal again because the Conservatives will have shot themselves in the foot again.

  16. "Third party" manufacturers do not ask for permission. They only get into making parts if there is a market.
  17. There had never been conservative success in Quebec that is why he was asked to run as a liberal. There have been many that left conservatism to the liberal party John Herron - PC MP for New Brunswick, quit the new conservatives, to run for the Liberals Jack Horner - PC MP, siwtched to Liberals in 1977 inexchange for a Cabinet Position David Kilgour - Former P.C. 18. Trump Rose??? Ha Ha Ha, Oh please stop! Trump Rose LOL That is one of the best ones you have ever come up with. Trump Rose, what a rotten scent that must emit LOL
  19. Live within their means.... I had to. I did without a lot but survived.
  20. A very very interesting study on "green" "sustainable" energy 41 Inconvenient Truths on the "New Energy Economy" https://fee.org/articles/41-inconvenient-truths-on-the-new-energy-economy/
  21. And why is that?? Because of a bank? Or because of consumer greed? Or because of not living with their means? Or because wanting and buying things they cannot afford? Going into debt is a personal decision.
  22. So, in your very first post you suggested "DoFo should recognize where the Global winds are blowing. Invest in EV infrastructure an incentivize car-buyers to buy an EV as their next car. " You seem to be tempering that a bit now. While EV is one of the paths for the future of personal transportation, it is a long way off. Long way off primarily because the infrastructure is even father off, it is not even planned yet. In Ontario alone the plan is for an extra 1.5 million homes and no infrastructure increase. You want electricity for the homes or the EV's? Yes, car builders are moving in the EV direction now but, is it sustainable or is it just one of those jumping on a bandwagon things because they don't want to be chastised for not trying (and because they never copy each other LOL) ?
  23. Seems that no matter what anyone does, there will be a lot of people pissed off. Mask mandates gone (a few exceptions) and the teachers are pissed, some parents are pissed, some restaurant and store owners are pissed. Flight attendants want to keep the masking on aircraft as airports do not need it.. Even the protesters are not satisfied yet. Bottom line now is, be an adult, do what you think is best for you. Don't want a mask, don't wear one. Want a mask, then wear it.
  24. Somewhat changing your tune? You were promoting EV quite vigorously. As for "upkeep" of an EV, you are right, no oil or water but, still has A/C fluids, brake fluids, greases, and in some there is even coolant. Then there is the normal "upkeep" brakes, tires consumables etc. As well, they are not trouble free. And 8 years battery replacement is not a long time. People keep their cars much longer nowadays and battery packs will be much more than $15K by then.. I am not anti EV, as a matter of fact, for me, an EV is a good option as I do not drive much anymore (3 year old car and not 20K on it yet) so for the short trips we normally take, it makes sense. I would have range anxiety though because I park outside and in the winter it gets minus 20 or more and the lights on, heaters on, seat heat on, windshield defrost on and maybe even wipers on....the range must be severely diminished. Also, can it be warmed up before driving like auto start on a ICE car?
  25. Look, I agree that EV sales are up but, your attempt at making it sound like it will be soon is incorrect. The discussion was where is all the electricity going to come from? Present infrastructure is not being upgraded. Even if we started now to build new reactors or hydro facilities, it will be decades before they are operational so, adding EV's in great numbers as well as more and more housing and industry, we will suffer power grid issues, big time. Unfortunately, the previous government contracts for non producing solar and wind are decades long so... your claim of green or more power from them is false. And only 30% is generated by gas but, no more pipelines, that cannot expand. On top of some wanting more charging stations to supply limited supply of electricity for vehicles, in Ontario alone the Government study has said Ontario needs an additional 1.5 million homes to help with housing. That is without announcing any extra power generation facilities. What is more important for our limited electricity, cars or housing? "n February, a housing task force created by Ontario Premier Doug Ford released a report suggesting solutions to the province's ongoing housing crisis. According to the report. 1.5 million new homes need to be created in Ontario to help meet demand from buyers and renters.
