The Global news report only quoted one woman that made a personal unsubstantiated statement. The Police said on the news they had no evidence that the arson had anything to do with the convoy. That is a load of BS. I live here and saw the reports, the news and the print. No one accused anyone of anything. It was on the news for days as they were hoping someone could identify the guys. They even said they did not and could not connect the arson attempt to the convoy protest. I think maybe your Facebook News Network may have made those claims but none of the news media in Ottawa did.

Why a hoax? They showed security footage of someone setting fire inside an apartment lobby. When this was shown, they asked if anyone could identify the persons. They never said it had anything to do with the protest. They even said the police were not sure why the guys did this. When they caught one guy, they stated he had nothing to do with the protest as stated in the article "there is no information indicating the accused was involved in any way with the convoy protest, " Hoax? We voted for these programs last election. They were on the platforms and plans of both Liberal and NDP. No sense whining now, we voted them in and looks like we will have them until 2025.
