Do you folks actually think that Trudeau posted that??
-
Who cares?? Besides you and a few here. Long gone, long over, long forgotten, blip in history. Get over it and move on..... if you can LOL "the real trucker hero's" were the ones still working, keeping the economy flowing. 200 accounts and you have no idea who they are. LOL "And you think that the convoy truckers", actually, I don't even give a thought about the convoy losers. Why? It's over and done with except for the few awaiting court dates LOL Give up dude, I do not care and you keep blathering away at me. You cannot even learn you are losing your argument with me because I could not care less about the truckers convoy. All wasted effort. LOL

Because your (and some others) posts and what they have to say means diddly shit to me means I am defending a fascist?? You truly are f'd up. LOL

Yes, it is a global commodity but there are ancillary costs. It costs a lot less by pipeline than by ship. Plus, the key is reliance upon other country oil as opposed to self reliant on ours. Did we learn nothing during the pandemic being reliant on other countries for vaccinations and the supply chain for our needs?? -
Trudeau says getting rid of monarchy is a non starter. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/other/messy-process-to-abolish-monarchy-likely-nonstarter-amid-pressing-problems-trudeau/ar-AA11Ytt0?ocid=EMMX&cvid=e0c011651e054268bd07d6bb96d64012

You are right. I think that at that point, the rest of Canada was tired of hearing about separation and wanted it over and done with.

Will not help Canada's reliance on imported oil. As was the discussion. -

And.... the pipeline is still not being built or going very slowly being interrupted by BC, indigenous et al. Bottom line is that it will not help Canada, just the profits to the companies. It is Quebec and East that needs Canadian oil. -
Canada is what it is and would remain so if the monarchy was abolished. Your view is nonsensical.

Can you say scatterbrain"?

Just because we dump the monarchy does not mean Canada ceases to exist. Many countries have dumped the monarchy and do just fine. Such a drama queen (or king) LOL You are probably the most negative person on this forum.

With all the social programs from feds, provinces and municipal, there is already a form of UBI.
-
I remember years ago Angus Reid did a survey about Quebec separation. They said 70% of Canadians said yes to separation and in the end less than 50% of Quebecois voted for it

Hows that going in BC?? -
I suspect if we did away with the monarchy it would be headline news but in reality, few would care and most would not notice at all. Doing away with monarchy only affect parliament (and the pictures on our money) and that can go on as usual.

Write a letter to the editor. They wouldn't publish a thing you have to say. Hero trucker? Oh yeah, the ones that kept on working and the economy of the county running. Yup, those were heros. The ones on the blockades were block heads LOL Yeah but, the found them on those truckers... I do think before I write but I didn't write the article. Oh and I am glad I entertain you. sad that you cannot reciprocate. Nothing funny about you or your insight or your position.
-
Whaaaat? You are back again??? I only linked an article. Take up your concerns and biases with the writers of the article. Hero's??? Don't make me laugh. "RCMP found a cache of guns, body armour and ammunition in trailers" Yup, heros all right LOL
-
I do not know how it happened "exactly", bu tit did. You would have to ask them. Are you saying all the other countries are or were crazy? Clearly they are doing just fine without GG's, LG's and an oath to the monarchy. What about Meech? Do you think the other countries did not have charters or constitutions?
-
A bit over dramatic. Many countries have already renounced the Monarchy without much effort, fanfare or disruption. Canada ca easily do the same The Shrinking Realm: "Through the decades, the Commonwealth would see territories lost and countries depart, with some rejoining. By the 1960s, most of Britain’s colonies in Africa and Asia were independent," https://ca.yahoo.com/news/queen-elizabeth-commonwealth-realm-shrinking-nations-203450220.html

And you keep on keeping on and on and on and.... Such a loser when you can't let it go LOL "RCMP have laid charges against three more men connected to a blockade that paralyzed the United States border at Coutts, Alta.," https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/rcmp-lay-charges-against-three-men-related-to-coutts-border-protest-last-winter/ar-AA11UOJ0?ocid=EMMX&cvid=2e8e2547d2c74ddc8ded73a0408d3bd3

Fact is that Eastern Canada, Martitimes specifically, cannot get "Canadian" oil or gas. No pipelines to the east allowed. He will stop importing oil in 5 years? How? By building a pipeline through Quebec?? Good luck with that one LOL Polievere is very aware of this and his statement is false rhetoric and divisive. -
I have seen enough press conferences by people, be they politicians, sports or celebrities, where reporters shouted out questions and heckled that I am not the least bit surprised.
-
A heckler. Being asked dumb questions. Being interrupted. Shouted at. Hassled. Seems pretty typical actions to any politician. Or is it just not tolerated against conservative politicians?
-
Like some of the posters here?? LOL
