How are any of your claims breaching the charter?? What chapter? Abortion is not illegal. Waiting for surgery of any kind is a matter of capability, not charter. What discrimination is against the charter? Everybody can blow, but few have actual smoke.
-
They are worth a lot. There has never been breach of charter rights by Government.

Doing away with the prayer and singing Oh Canada or God Save the Queen was a local school board and provincial issue. Just like stopping Christmas celebrations at schools and making them Winter Festivals or some other non offensive, non denominational, politically correct name. How can you even conceive of blaming "libbies"? LOL
-
In BC, we said the Lords Prayer and sang Oh Canada every morning. I do not remember when we stopped doing that. Actually interesting she is not hiding behind a keyboard.

I get your sentiment but we keep voting in these people. All leaders of political parties will use whatever powers they can to remain and do what they deem best for the country. Bottom line is we get what we deserve..... unfortunately or.... perhaps fortunately because we vote them in.

As I said " I don't think it is so dramatic. The February debacle is over. Whether what he did was needed will be debated forever and, he will be remembered as the son of the only other man that did that."
-
Democracy was always been pretty words. Engaged citizens bought those pretty words and cast their one vote. That is the way it has always been. Democracy: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections

Naw, I don't think it is so dramatic. The February debacle is over. Whether what he did was needed will be debated forever and, he will be remembered as the son of the only other man that did that. The problem is Canadians themselves. This "leader" has screwed up so many times yet we forgive him and elect him back. If we are heading towards a "Tiananmen Square" situation, it is because we allow it and every 4 years, endorse it..
-
Like I said from the very beginning, the Ottawa Police screwed this up from the get go. The testimony has proven that. Other cities learned what not to do because Ottawa showed them how to screw things up. Yes, Ottawa has protests every day but none have ever occupied the city or behaved so badly.. Tiananmen Square? Are you still living in the past??The debacle is over and done with 9 months ago. Get current, stay withe times LOL

Baaa Ha Ha Ha.... are you off your meds again?? Ha Ha Ha

According to testimony, Windsor learned what not to do from Ottawa to clear protesters. Five reasons Windsor had success ending 'Freedom Convoy' blockade, but Ottawa didn't https://ottawa.citynews.ca/local-news/five-reasons-windsor-had-success-ending-freedom-convoy-blockade-but-ottawa-didnt-6082264?utm_source=Villager&utm_campaign=Content&utm_medium=Facebook_Graph&fbclid=IwAR2J8WpRDRWdqMHBodQbatY3HXLiQAdXZZEk6VZxp8zUuc_X5hItR8Udhfs

Kudos to you for taking that young man to the ceremony. Glad he could hear the stories and how much serving members think and respect his father and those that gave their lives for their Country. This year I went to the ceremony at Beechwood. A truly respectful and sombre place for Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day is also to appreciate and thank all those that have served and ares till serving. May we never forget them.

I am not sure what facts I had wrong? I responded to your comment "no PM that has pushed for updated VIP aircraft, those airbuses will be hauling troops until the seats fall out, or the PM says they will be upgraded. ". I responded to the updating of the VIP aircraft. Yes, Chretien government bought 2 Challenger VIP jets but they were to replace 2 old Challengers that were being retired. As for CFHA, it is an agency, not a DND department or organization. It manages the base housing. You were correct, pressure form the "downtowns" pushed the CFHA to increase prices as they did to increase prices in the Canex. As I said, almost all things that used to be for the military members like arenas and golf course etc, were basically made public and opened to everyone. We, the military lost.

OK, refresh me. What is your complaint? In Iran a woman passed away while in custody for not wearing a hijab? In Quebec they protested (and everybody in the country agreed with the protest) because the government said they cannot wear it? 2 protests over headress. Yes, I realize a person died but the basic issue is the hajib. Sounds like a religious issue in 2 different countries. One extreme in one direction, the other extreme in another direction.

Myata, you have yet to provide a worthy and wise contribution to any topic. You would be wise, if not worthy just to stop posting for a while and let your foolish and stupid comments be forgotten. Stay on topic.
-
Please myata, say nothing and let people imagine you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer but say what you did and remove all doubt.

The act of learning is observations of what went right or wrong in any give situation. It is a lesson you should "learn" LOL Reading comprehension is also something you should learn .
