  1. Yup, you just continue to prove my point. "Man, you are one sad individual LOL Re-read all your posts. There is not one where you are not whining or complaining. My comment is not an attack but stating a fact"
  2. Lets be real. Every penny spent by a company or business is a tax write off as an expense. Been that way since...forever.
  3. Surprised at what? My comment is based on your statement "The biggest problem, imo, is that we don't know how to run services. " My response is that there is only so much social money to go around and unless you take from someone or something, you cannot give to other people or things. Is that wrong? Actually, resources are far more strained now than before and services have increased a lot more than before covid. Wait lists are with every organization and company in Canada. I waited for over an hour for CAA insurance and then they said they will callback....never did. I waited on Air Canada for so long , I gave up. I expected more from them but, hey, never happens. Maybe those people from CRA were working from home were actually not "working" and you had to wait for the ones that were? Hospitals are a different issue. Really, when it comes down to it, how can you force doctors to work anywhere or nurses? If they do not like where they work , so be it but that is not the governments fault (provincial governments). I need to get regular infusions and go to an office that has 5 to 6 nurses working there. I ask why they are there and they say it is straight days and do not like shift work. Not a government services fault. The government is managed by the people in the end. They do what you want them to do. You want more, they give you more. until they have nothing to give. You want services, transparency, more services more transparency to the point many workers are just spending time answering complaints and questions and pointing out and to the enormous volumes of manuals and policies. Every department has many many people just responding to questions and really get nothing moving forward. I had the misfortune of having to do time in the ATI office in my department. Hundreds of ATI's per month.Anybody and everybody pay $5 and gets to ask questions and demand answers. And that is not including the thousands of daily phone calls.Often, directing them to a website is the answer but, other times it takes telling them over and over again and they still do not get it. It all takes people and time. As for being managed by the economy? Michael, you are a smart guy and you know where that would end.
  4. I actually think we do know how to run services. I think the problem is people think they should or deserve more and more and there is no end to what they want. Hence, complaints about services....all services. There are finite resources and hence, finite services. Like a wise person once said, and it is so true "The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else" They also said "You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving." That is my take on guaranteed income ....sorry for the off topic
  5. Man, you are one sad individual LOL Re-read all your posts. There is not one where you are not whining or complaining. My comment is not an attack but stating a fact Fighting for freedom??? What a laugh LOL Sad sad sad ....
  6. You have never, ever given an intelligent and calm and honesty reply. LOL More canfux BS .LOL
  7. Yeah, still a bad decision. When an interim leader is better than what is running, well, you see what they got LOL
  8. The conservatives have never done well in Quebec anyway. Yeah, that was the condition of her interim leadership. The conservatives should have changed that. I mean, they picked Sheer and O'Foole. Both losers in more ways than one. PP will win by default, Trudeau is just to despised to come close. So, hopefully we will not get another loser conservative like the last 2.
  9. Wow, reading comprehension is not your only issue, understanding comprehension seems to go hand in hand with it LOL. You just make shit up and convince yourself you are right LOL.
  10. What was wrong about my post???? C'mon , instead of making BS comments, prove your claim LOL Oh and, no ass porn, you are an A$$ is a fact.
  11. So, whining for the sake of whining. OK then LOL
  12. Yup, the first person whining because you are not getting what you think you deserve LOL I can also think lots of departments should disappear (Indian and Northern Affairs...huge money pit) but, fact is, they are there because someone wanted, needed or were promised them.
  13. Yup, still an A$$ LOL Everything you say is wrong. LOL Everything you post is a rant LOL You argue with everyone on this forum...seems the A$$ is all you LOL
  14. Not sure what your point is besides the obvious that it costs more to live. My point was that it costs everyone more to live and to produce. As for your salary point, the minimum wage increased dramatically and therefore the cost of products has had to increase to compensate. Are you implying that the salaries should go up more? Seems like a never ending circle, more pay, higher prices so we pay more salary and the prices go up again. Yes Trudeau is giving everybody everything but, what do you suggest he takes away and from who?
  15. You know, you are an a$$. My post is not argumentative yet you turn it into some sort of platform for your rants. My simple point, which escapes you, is that Jagmeet is slipping badly. I do not like Trudeau and I do not like PP and I do not like Jagmeet.
  16. Yup, people have to eat but, so do those that grow the food. It costs them more to produce and ship. Gas prices are not the only reasons. When minimum wages went up as high as it is, that alone added 10 to 20% extra cost to the products being sold. Guess who pays for that? Cutting persons in government will also mean cutting services ....to you. You cannot compare Canada to the US (on a federal level). The US has offloaded much to the States and the States offload to the municipalities. That is why there are so many bonds and financial issues to vote on in local elections.
  17. What a bunch of blather Ha Ha Ha Ha Wrong, computers kick out where the math is wrong or missing info and you are sent notice to correct it. No human interaction. Mess with it more and then yes, humans will come and audit you but you are still responsible to prove them wrong. I have relatives in CRA. As for getting rid of offices. That was a program started years before covid. Long before even I retired form the PS. Everyone got a wifi laptop and all cubicles were removed. Big tables were installed and first come first served. Only people working with security designated (confidential is nothing) tasks were given cubicles. No setting up and no lockers.Just sit own and turn on your laptop. Th eonly offices left were to meetings and secure communications. LOL You think you know but in reality, you do not . LOL
  18. The conservatives do not have a good record selecting leaders. PP is what you get. I personally think they made a big mistake not making Rona Ambrose the leader but hey, it is what it is. Conservatives should wipe the liberals up in this election. I hope they wipe out Jagmeet and his tribe too.
  19. So what??? The only new thing about the poll is that Jagmeet is withering LOL Everyone knows and is fully aware Trudeau is toast (except Trudeau himself). The Liberal party has to boot this guy out in the next few months or they will totally collapse like the Ontario Liberals did. The will lose regardless but, they have to have a new leader to move them forward. If they wait till they get obliterated, they will have far too much and too long to re-build.
  20. What are you arguing with me about? The topic is working 3 days in the office vice 2. I am saying they should go back to the office because my observation is that many are not putting in full days at home. I am also saying that many jobs can be taken over by AI. Many years in the Military, including a lot of years in Ottawa then decades in the PS, I can see what is redundant and the PS (especially union) has to be careful of their demands. If Conservatives get back in, they can and will clear redundancy to reduce spending and the PS is a huge target. Oh and, CRA already uses computers to do taxes and they do not need people to verify and validate anymore. They have all your documents before even you do. If the computer decides you messed up. it is up to you to prove otherwise. LOL You even agree that the PS has too many employees and is bloated so I am not sure what your points or arguments are all about.
  21. Nope, it's all about you LOL
  22. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha I have penetrated your brain Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha You are just a miserable person that loves to argue Ha Ha Ha Ha HA
  23. I spent 35 years in the Military and in the 80's we had the highest Officer to Men relationship of any Military in the world. Thing have not changed. We have always had a bloated Officer Corps.
