New report says 1 in 4 Canadians may be living in poverty
ExFlyer replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yup...protect your conservative friends. When they do the same as the liberals, you will always have an excuse LOL As I said, and you missed it, all politicians take advantage of the public purse once in power or elected, regardless of political party. Oh and Trudeau do not spend it, his staff spent and it was for the meetings and invitations made for Canadian events F*ck you are really getting stupider and stupider, even for a loser like you LOL Your battle cry seems to be" conservative uber alles "LOL -
Why is a Top Secret clearance designation a "liberal" trap? When I had clearance (under both conservative and liberal governments) , any time there were names and personal information or information that may identify some individuals, it was top secret or at least secret. And who is Tommy Mulclair and why does it matter what he said and what he would or would not do??

Moderna promises new vaccine will increase the likelihood of pointless debate "CAMBRIDGE, MA – Pharmaceutical company Moderna has released a statement guaranteeing their new COVID vaccine will both decrease people’s chances of contracting the virus while boosting the likelihood they will get sucked into a meaningless argument about vaccination. “Our new vaccine has been engineered not only to protect against the new variants of the virus but to be extra controversial thanks to a new key ingredient: medical science,” CEO Stéphane Bancel said in the statement. “With this medication, you have 95% increased protection from the virus and 100% chance of your uncle saying something ignorant on Facebook.” Health Canada was quick to approve the new vaccination, which they think will give the country a much-needed boost in bickering levels. “Since mid-2022, Canadians have seen a drop in COVID argument variants such as Loud Arguments, Misinformed Debates, and Disingenuous Fights,” said Dr. Melinda Ryder, a consultant for Health Canada’s COVID Squabble Control Department. “But this new vaccine could see us return to Freedom Convoy levels of rancorous discord.” Side effects of the new vaccine include swelling, soreness, and being contacted by that one guy from high school who only reaches out to you to tell you something he saw on the Joe Rogan podcast. If your post-vaccination debate lasts more than 4 hours, experts recommend contacting a rational friend immediately. Canadians can book their vaccine appointments online at 4chan, Reddit, and MMAforum.com. "Pierre Poilievre’s refusal to get a national security clearance so he can read the report on foreign interference in Canada’s elections is raising eyebrows, with many suggesting that maybe he can’t get a security clearance because he poses a security risk. Nonsense! There are many totally reasonable reasons for why Mr. Poilievre would choose not to get cleared. Here are just a few: 1. He lost his National Security Clearance card and is too embarrassed to ask for a replacement 2. The day he was supposed to go for the interview was dollar shot night at O’Hallagans 3. His Russian and/or Indian government handlers told him not to 4. He heard you have to be vaccinated to get it 5. Getting it would require him to lie slightly less than he does currently 6. Some of his MPs have it and they promised to let him copy their notes 7. He doesn’t want to do anything Trudeau does. That’s also why he stopped showering and talking to his children 8. He doesn’t need to read the report on foreign collusion, as he remembers all the times he colluded with a foreign government very well 9. Being a national security risk is all part of the bad boy makeover he went through last summer 10. He’s too busy working 24/7 to assist struggling Canadians finally own the Libs. So there you go. The important thing to remember is he can get it if he wants to. For sure. Definitely." Wealthy Canadians announce BMW X3 convoy to protest capital gains tax hike "OTTAWA – Wealthy Canadians have begun a ‘Freegains convoy’ to Ottawa in their BMW X3s in protest of the government’s plan to raise the inclusion rate on annual capital gains in excess of $250,000.00 dollars. “Not since the city of Toronto tried to build affordable housing in Rosedale has our community been so united in opposition,” said leader Harris Barnes Wentworth III, from his 2022 matte black X3, which comes with Bose speakers, individual climate control and a large LED display. “Whether you’re a scion of family wealth or a humble plumber with millions of dollars in assets, we encourage all Canadians to join. As long as you have an X3. Range Rovers or Porsche 911s are fine too, but you have to drive at the back.” The convoy is travelling all the way from the group’s summer homes in Lake Rosseau to Ottawa, a stunning display of solidarity, pride and the latest in luxury, precision driving technology. The journey would ordinarily take only 5-6 hours, but the group is not expected to arrive for several days as they keep stopping every time they see a Starbucks. “This is about everyday, dedicated Canadians who should not be forced to watch me pay more tax when I sell one of my investment condos,” said Kate Farnsbey-Lichtenstein, driving a 2021 model with the extended sunroof, upgraded security system and keyless entry. Once they arrive in Ottawa the group intends to occupy the same downtown area the truckers did. They expect hundreds to be present, which will likely match the total of people who will actually be affected by the capital gains inclusion change. The harm caused by government intervention in the economy
ExFlyer replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
First of all, get smarter about your accusations. The "rational is valid. If your town places it's entire economy on one indistry and that is a failure...perhaps poor town planing is at fault? ...."In addition to risking both fish and environmental health, aquacultural practices endanger human health" https://www.centerforfoodsafety.org/issues/312/aquaculture/human-health-risks "Open-net salmon farms are large cages or nets rearing hundreds of thousands of fish in coastal waters. These farms cannot contain or control the outflow of waste from their facilities, releasing deadly parasites, pathogens and pollutants into B.C. waters." https://pacificwild.org/campaign/fish-farms-out/ In a new study published in Science Advances, we found that a salmon virus that is common on fish farms was introduced to southern B.C. roughly 30 years ago and is continually transmitted between farmed and wild salmon. https://theconversation.com/fish-farms-transmit-viruses-to-endangered-wild-pacific-salmon-new-evidence-shows-158691 As for the rest of your rant.... it is off topic...your topic LOL -

Yes, $14 dollar juice was outrageous and like you guys are now losing your shit and making it out like the expense was all for him and not the entourage that included members of the opposition and press and staff. If you remember correctly, it was not just theo range juice but the exorbitant hotel rooms cost and the $1000 per day for driver and car to be on standby. Plus the staff costs too Yes, mp's travel, with their staff and it all costs money. The PM (or president or opposition leaders) travel with a huge entourage and it cost money. Nice try though.... LOL -
This is a problem, not just in prisons and not just for this government, this have s been ongoing for years but it has not been politically correct to call them out. Universities have been "caught" giving professorships to pretend indigenous as well https://www.analystnews.org/posts/the-pretendians-exploiting-indigenous-communities-through-identity-fraud https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/hundreds-of-indigenous-leaders-take-aim-pretend-indians-1.6380566

Like he ate it all LOL Every political leader get an expense account when travelling. How come Pollivere has no travel expenses to report since 2020??? He did travel. Who paid for it??] https://www.ourcommons.ca/ProactiveDisclosure/en/members/travel/2021/2/97a95282-84d6-4f79-9ac3-182752442a60 But he does spend https://canadianpolitics101.substack.com/p/pierre-poilievre-spent-129825715 MP's spent over $14 million on travel in the first 6 months of 2023. https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/canadian-mps-spent-14-6m-on-travel-in-first-half-of-2023-1.6648550 Point is politicians live a much larger lifestyle than most Canadians. -
