Interesting read. Let's examine results because more often than not, that's how motivations are identified. Gas prices going insane. I do not believe in academia. I believe in common sense and intellect. One you exhibit in sparing amounts. I have been wondering what your issue is with Poilievre. Abortion. You're scared he'd start a movement to clamp down on abortion. Now...I happen to think abortion should be available under certain conditions. None of those conditions allow for it after the 3rd month. None of them allow for abortion to be a common means of birth control. But under the correct circumstances...I can agree it has a use and should be a real option. I would also think that the vast majority of Canadians feel this way about abortion. Its a tool that must not be abused. It is most certainly NOT...a "Human Right" to abort babies who are aware and respond to external stimuli. That...IMHO...is abhorrent and such a horror must only be considered in the most extreme of cases.

This starts at an early age. We've been teaching our kids about nebulous crap that has no business in our kids heads. They forsake fundamentals for indoctrination. An army of "leftists". Social warriors. Thank Gawd I taught my kids to think logically instead of emotionally. As for "academia"...its lost its gleam. Its authority. The academic world has infiltrated the sciences and given pure science, a rotten streak. Now, of course, many people can't even "believe the science" anymore. They've discredited...themselves. I started a Computer Science curriculum back in the early 80's. Dropped out at the end of the second semester to engage in raw capitalism...and to help out with my father's failing mechanical shop. Had some good success and moved on. Today, I'm a manager at one of the world's biggest IT companies. Almost all others I work with at my current level, have degrees. Very few of them can honestly be called "smart". Education can't really make one "smart". All it can do is provide people with the tools to be "smart". And its been failing miserably for decades.

Corporate Fascism. So as a result today... Russia and China have the President of the United States of America...by Hunter's short and curlies. Russia also is negotiating along with Iran and the USA, on Iranian nuclear capabilities. Russia has also invaded Ukraine. China appears to be set to invade Taiwan. And they can do this because... Biden corruption keeps the POTUS at bey. Globalistic ideals got Europe to rely on Russian oil. They also got most Western corporations to rely on cheaper labour in China and around the world. The "Greenies" got Biden to all but halt American fossil fuel production. The Libbies hated "The Wall" and Trump so much, that one of the first things their Great Savior Biden did was open the southern border. Is our system of government "broken" as myata contends? Or is it simply being abused? We give people powers to govern in free elections. I believe a lot enter politics thinking they can do some real good for the people who have shown their faith in them. It takes about 6 months to learn that even an elected official must play the established "game". Your budgetary needs must grow yearly. You must never cast doubt on the bureaucracy. The public are below government officials and only need be pacified. Those who refuse to play the established "game" will be destroyed. The "system" is sound. The implementation is abusive. How would I fix it? Go through the bureaucracies with a butcher knife. Cut out all the fat and abuse. A lot of heads would roll. There would be massive resistance. But this one simple act would send an unmistakable message. Play properly...or expect the butcher's knife to hack you off. Then...watch the governing bodies all of the sudden...find humility and money to spare in their bloated budgets.
