They're wallowing in self pity. @myata is sinking fast. The poor...person had hope but...that hope has been dashed. And worse...Trump got a clear majority vote. Oh the horror! @myata...try to not fall completely into dispare. You too @Michael Hardner. Think of it this way... We all just a couple years ago, emerged from a global pandemic...apparently...and the global economy took it in the teeth. It was BAD! But we came out and one of the results...whether intentional or not...was 1 US surrender and 2 shiny new wars. THIS...boys...is the IDEAL time to turn American business and resources loose! At least until America can fully recover, and maybe even reduce some o' that insane debt. Get well soon...

You sure do object to childhood psychology. Did I pick on you? If I did, sorry. I was young and unbridled. Meh... There is a chance of Putin being uncooperative, yes. But he's been saying all along that Russia has been open to negotiations. Let's see what happens...shall we? At least it's better than the alternative.

From your post: "Dr Newsome stressed that all climate-related actions must be grounded in equity and social justice." Hmmm..."equity and social justice". Now where have I heard that before? And then this: "The authors urge transitioning to a global economy that prioritises human well-being and curtails overconsumption and excessive emissions by the rich. Specific recommendations include phasing out fossil fuel subsidies, transitioning toward plant-based diets, scaling up forest protection efforts and adopting international coal elimination and fossil fuel non-proliferation treaties." Plant-based diets? What? Not even bug eating? Who funded this DEI-soaked tiatribe? Oh..."funding was received from the CO2 Foundation and Roger Worthington." The CO2 Foundation? D'ya think they have a bias agenda perhaps? https://co2foundation.org/about/ OOPS. Yup...definitely biased. Ok...benefit of the doubt. Who is Roger Worthington? https://education.umd.edu/research/centers/cdihe/about-us/staff "Roger L. Worthington is the founder and executive director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion in Higher Education, " Huh...so much for "benefit of the doubt". https://www.newsweek.com/yes-climate-changing-no-its-not-emergency-opinion-1615632 "For the vast majority of the time that human civilization has existed, temperatures have been significantly warmer than today. More than 30,000 scientists have signed on to a paper saying that we're not facing a climate emergency. Throughout the history of the earth, a more normal level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been about 1000 parts per million, not the 420 ppm we see today. The fact that carbon dioxide levels are so high, and yet compared to over the past few 100 or few 1,000 years, temperatures are lower than they've been throughout most of human civilization, tells you that carbon dioxide is not the control knob for global temperatures." OOPS...seems like someone has been crying 'WOLF' a tad too much. Lol...bye...

Meh...the world as they want it...is crumbling. @myata sounds like he's crumbling too. But...America is soon going to close their border and drill baby drill. Those 2 actions alone will put more funds at their disposal.

I don't really think that's it. I think it's as simple as pure hatred of Orangemanbad. As unreal as it sounds, these poor tortured souls are poisoned with TDS.

Are you a man or a woman?
Nationalist replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
In a word...YES. The denial of the basic and fundamental laws of nature is in opposition to nature. -
Mr. or Mrs. High. Whichever the case may or may not be... 1. The OP by @Political Smash doen not mention Alex Jones. You have tried to derail the thread with his invocation. 2. The OP is about the climate laws and regulations imposed by the Canadian Liberals. So let's try real hard to stay on topic...Mkaaayyy? Further to that, I ask you again..."prove we have a climate crisis"? You can't. Nobody can. And that...young Padewan...is the problem. In REALITY...not a single peer reviewed scientific document will proclaim a "climate crisis". Why? It's simply not a crisis. It's a "potential" issue and perhaps...and that's a very big "perhaps"...even a crisis. But TODAY it's noted that the average global temperature has risen over the last century...that would be 4 generations...or more...at about .2 degrees PER DECADE. That...my disingenuous young Padewan...a crisis does not make.! The "green" movement is nothing more than just another scare tactic to keep mindless slumps in a constant state of panic, in order to make them willing dupes. Frankly, Pixie-Dust and his whole Gawd-forsaken cabinet should be jailed for the undue suffering they've imposed on Canadians... WITH A BLATANT LIE! Now...young Padewan...the question remains... Prove there's a climate crisis.

Reduce regulation and turn the oil and gas industry loose will not only drag the US economy up, but will drag the global economy back to life as well.

Dude...sh1t happens. It's unfortunate but it does happen...very seldom. It is not an excuse to oppose nature. -
Good. Keep it and we can revisit it in 4 years. I'd reciprocate with wishes for luck, but you actually hope a recession happens it sounds like.

No expansion necessary. Dude...if you insist on warping reality and opposing nature, be my guest. But know that your path cannot end well. -
Lol...nice try.
