Bc safe drug supply fueling organized crime
herbie replied to Army Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Bc safe drug supply fueling organized crime ArmyGuy says so. That's all ya need to know. -
This is what all the alt-right so called conservatives on the site wanted. Someone that told people what to do and how to act, so long as it wasn't them personally. Didn't want people discussing and compromising on laws in the Senate, House or a Parliament and needing actual support of a majority. One guy. Who says 'this is how it shall be or else'. An actual Dictator. So long as they're not targeted they can pretend they are the majority and it therefore was democratically decided. This is exactly what's going on down there.

KNEE-CAPPING CANADA: we're all in this together!
herbie replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Amazing how people touting themselves loudest as Conservatives must resort to utter lies and extreme hyperbole. Trudeau didn't scrap that pipeline HE MADE SURE IT GOT BUILT and it's running right now as you post your bullshit EVERY level of govt invested in EV tech We don't FUND other countries, unless you're brain is as warped ad The Doinald we send AID and yes military aid to Ukraine. Dick shit to Russia Oh, you great govt wouldn't have spent anything? You'd cut spending to boost the economy? As ass backward as you are truthful. -
Canada's $52B EV gamble didn't pay off, observers say
herbie replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Oh FFS Crappy Tire fails again, surprise, surprise! Timmies & McD's should be adding the charging stations to get you inside and sell you food while you're charging. Likewise the malls. But I'll tell you big Canadian business is too stupid, cheap and lazy to ever come up with and do it on their own. Maybe da bossman will order us too someday. We can't show any initiative, that's not company policy. The few that do follow the same game plan - hire as few service people as possible and centralize them a couple hundred miles away. -
How stupid do you think others are? There's timestamps right there on the posts showing you posted a response to a 7 minute + video only three minutes after it was posted. Repeat: you win the prize for the epitome of d-u-m-b. Defending the sycophants doubly so,

No, you're total refusal and inability to comprehend a single thing you see id the epitome of dumb. As is the insistence that repeating a claim makes it true. -
That Dr told me I had gout once, avoid anchovies. I'm part Italian, I love those. He swivelled out from the desk and showed his knee - me too! I get it from curry! Gave me these tiny pills and just like he warned I instantly shit thru the eye of a needle and was fine a day later. The wife saw him once and they conspired, gave her a colour print to go by and she made my 55th birthday cake the colour and shape of a giant Viagra pill. We all got a kick... she got asked to make rude party cakes for everybody in town!

Canada's $52B EV gamble didn't pay off, observers say
herbie replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The $50 billion is only loosely related to EV subsidies and includes incentives that aren't money spent, but your complete intransigence in claiming a $5 electric charge costs more than $40 worth of gas is outright imbecility. And as you seem to be the only person that didn't know the federal purchase credits ran out last month and that for the average purchase price of $67,000 for a new car, there are many choices of pure, hybrid and plugin EVs included. They're already here and in 10 years gas will be a hell of a lot more and you'd be foolish not to consider one. -

Oh f*ck what the USA and the dinosaurs say. Do you want a car that's cheaper to run or don't you? Then keep the EV mandates and build them here. The 4th best selling vehicle in 2024 was Tesla. 372,000 Teslas! And you listen to the 'nobody' bought them BS? Just like the 'nobody bought' the entire 2 empty shelves of product like the grocery store manager tried to tell me about! -
Comrade Donald making China Great Again
herbie replied to Matthew's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well it's a pretty short and direct sail from Kitimat to China. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to buy aluminum. Donald just pointed out 2 more US industries that can't compete. Shame China will use it to make anti-aircraft carrier missiles. Lucky how Canada has none of those to worry about. -
Some people are too simpleminded to distinguish between American people and their govt policies. Posted in both sides of the border threads. Meanwhile, I suggest a new NHL policy for Canadians. Cheer loudly rather than sing the Canadian anthem. Sit in dead silence with middle fingers extended for the US anthem.

What I Just Sent To President Trump

Give the man a whole roll of tariff free aluminum to make a new hat! -
Different? I miss those odd times in Vancouver when we'd wake up and go for Dim Sum brunch with friends. And the little place on 6th in New West for potstickers and small spicy hot dishes. How about them Sunday breakfasts when you were 19-25 of leftover warm beer and cold pizza? Watching TV documentaries while somebody on the couch still hadn't come to, pretending the wildlife was more interesting than Cheryl Teigs legs....

Tell me about it, in the 1960 we went to the airport to greet many Italian relatives arriving to live in Canada for a better opportunity. Now they're selling us our Jeeps and Dodges, surpassed our GDP. And have had mostly coalition Parllaments many here still laugh at. Just as half the people here think if we restricted immigration to just the UK the people coming down the ramp would all be white and half wearing kilts. Have had several S African doctors in our clinic here over the years. Knew them well, some as good friends. Good people. One seemed to have a but of a missionary attitude, doctored mainly in ZImbabwe, Angloa, Namibia and did all the fly in remote rez stuff here.. One was of Indian descent, best Dr I ever had. A couple S African wives were PITA. One wouldn't shop where the natives did. One made an employee blow up and walk out yelling "I guess the guy with the funny accent that says he's from Dell knows way more than me with just a Computer degree from a lousy Canadian university, lady" She also told another of mine that she didn't care about conduit codes, just get on your belly and lay those cables thru the mud under the cabin. BOY. And I here all about other immigrants that need to leave their customs and attitudes back home.

Neither have I, but if I lived somewhere it was a Lib vs Tory choice I would come next election. What one calls corruption is quite a subjective decision. Pretending one party is and the other isn't is an entirely stupid decision. And usually an entirely hypocritical one too. Just like the hyperbole of declaring corruption of a system by the scandals of a few.

Trump Plan for Takeover of Canada?
herbie replied to Dick Green's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Mainly that people like you with an 19th century colonial mindset and willingness to hide historical errors and atrocities are a rapidly shrinking minority. You are the one that lives in the best country on Earth and continually whines about it, glorifies what you imagine it "was" and opposing every opportunity to allow others to participate equally in it's future. -
Many of us don't even eat breakfast. When I was working I'd maybe make toast a couple times a week. An egg mcmuffin if I was on the road.... COFFEE is what matters! now I have to eat to take the pills, or get the shits. So it's toast, cereal, or frozen strudel and eggs on the weekend. The in laws did the full English thing for Sunday breakfast - complete with beans and (yuk) blood sausage. Wake us all up and make us all brekkie on their way back from golfing at some ungodly early hour.
