He is a smart guy and dead on. Anyone who equates the present restrictions with the actions of Hitler, Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot is just demonstrating a total ignorance of history and a complete lack of perspective.
But when it comes to plugging up the medical system you are the problem and the plugged up medical system is the reason for restrictions. You are still unable to make that connection.
I mean like stores in a mall. Now they are closed because of being harassed by people who are so full of themselves they think they are justified in doing anything.
Oh well, the mall is now closed and the protestors can freeze and piss in a snow bank instead of using the mall.
No, walking into stores demanding people defy public health orders is bullying. Protesters were relying on the mall to get out of the cold, use washrooms or get a meal. They have just screwed themselves.
Because there are more consequences from Covid than just complete recovery or death. It’s illness that is stressing the health care system, not death.
Once you are dead you are no longer a burden to the system.
The truckers are having their convoy, no one is violating their civil rights and freedoms. In free countries, everyone gets an opinion, not just truckers. Polls give an idea what the majority thinks, that's all.
You mean like a majority of Americans who supported the mandatory interment of Japanese Americans? I don't know why you keep bringing this up? BTW, where are all the truckers demonstrating in Washington?
I've always considered myself a fiscally conservative social moderate and voted as such. The direction the CPC seems intent on heading increasingly makes me feel I have nowhere to go.
The Conservatives will never form a government on their present course, they are pandering to the far right and will lose too much of the centre. Liberals not having a realistic threat to replace them is not a good thing for the country.
