  1. Private citizens and governments don't get to dictate what the constitution means. Only the courts can do that and for good reason. It is to avoid a tyranny of the majority whether it is by mob or government.
  2. I mean other's rights are expendable.
  3. So go to court.
  4. So why did they want overturn an election and make Trump king?
  5. So don’t complain when causes you don’t like receive financial and other support from other countries.
  6. Why should truckers be the only ones who get to protest? Is no one else entitled to express an opinion? Should only people who get their news from the likes of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other unaccountable sources be entitled to make policy and have opinions? Canadians are smart enough and that’s why they are losing patience and starting counter protests.
  7. So if someone else can come up with a bigger mob than you, they get to decide what is legal? Is that what you want?
  8. Not exaggerating at all. Like all zealots, you trivialize the suffering of others because your cause is so noble they are expendable. Who gives a shit if they shovel the sidewalks if people can't use them and have to listen to truck horns blasting day and night.
  9. We are also seeing the rise of counter protests. More and more people are getting fed up with this bunch.
  10. Only the courts have jurisdiction over something's constitutionality. You don't get to decide whether something is legal.
  11. It isn't theft if they return the money.
  12. You can't decide Charter rights by mob. Either you believe in rule of law or you don't. How do you know the PM is disregarding the will of the people?
  13. Until the CPC can move more toward the centre, the Liberals won't have much to worry about.
  14. Maybe but do you have a better way?
  15. The courts decide when the constitution has been violated, not mobs.
  16. Yes, mob. The people of Ottawa have been made victims, no doubt they have a different opinion.
  17. Oh bull. The protesters have no legitimate claim to power in this country. Aristides believed in democracy and rule of the electors determined by ballots, even when it meant his own exile. He even showed someone how to vote when he knew that person wanted to vote for his exile. The last thing he believed in was mob rule.
  18. Lets face it, the government can't cave and let a bunch of protesters become a de facto unelected government so this will have to be brought to an end. The best protesters can hope for is that government now understands there is a lot of unrest and they should take that into consideration with their future policies. The protesters are dreaming if they think vaccine mandates will disappear. With 90% of the population vaccinated, governments will not kowtow to the remaining 10%.
  19. No one will get killed, they will just get moved. The engineers have some really big tow trucks that they use to move tanks.
  20. Maybe you should be forced to wear them 24/7. See how you like it.
  21. You realize this is a made up organization with no jurisdiction anywhere?
  22. Who isn't in favour of getting rid of mandates? Problem is variants are setting the agenda, not humans.
  23. So says Mr. Hindsight.
  24. It does due to the reduced viral loads carried by infected vaccinated. Reported in a lot more places than the CBC.https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/31/the-new-omicron-subvariant-is-more-contagious-but-vaccinated-people-are-less-likely-to-spread-it-study-finds.html
