  1. Every vehicle manufacturer in the world has had to cut back production because of supply issues. Chips are required for just about everything in today's vehicles. Engines, transmissions, AWD, traction control, braking systems, power steering don't work without them, never mind all the gee wiz tech they are putting in them today to help drive the car or take your attention away from driving it. I doubt pissing you off is more important to them than making money. The whole world is having supply chain problems. It isn't just the delivery of finished goods, manufacturers can't get the materials they need to make stuff. As far as drivers go, what exactly can Trudeau do other than give US drivers an exemption? That doesn't do anything to help Canadian drivers who need to cross the border. Milk is produced locally, shortages have nothing to do with borders.
  2. It’s the same all over the world. Among other things, chip shortages are effecting production of cars and everything else that uses them. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news/worldwide-shortage-of-new-cars-trucks-drives-demand-prices-for-used-vehicles/ar-AAKQaEb All Canadians must be fully vaccinated to enter the US now, not just truckers. I suppose that is Trudeau’s fault as well. I don’t like Trudeau either but get real.
  3. That would have cost money and interfered with all their other pet projects and campaign promises.
  4. Oh Gawd. So that's where you are at.
  5. We have been down this road before. Why do you think you have the qualifications to evaluate the millions of reports coming in to the CDC from thousands of different sources. You probably wouldn't recognize most of the sources anyway, let alone know how reliable they might be. If VAERS and the CDC dumped several million reports into your email, do you honestly think you could make sense of them because that is what you are asking for. No one is telling you not to make your own decisions.
  6. BCCDC stats show per 100k population, 5 times as many unvaccinated in hospital than vaccinated. Vaccines aren't perfect but they are at least five times better than not being vaccinated.
  7. If they are vaccinated they will be.
  8. It says they should be based on risk assessment. I'm in favour of no restrictions for the fully vaccinated, if for no other reason than to keep foreigners from plugging up our hospitals.
  9. Of course you deliberately ignore this bit.
  10. No, just doing their jobs. Making money, paying the bills. Why would they want to join an antivax protest?
  11. The vaccinated ones will be very busy doing their jobs.
  12. The Americans will require cross border truckers to be fully vaccinated starting tomorrow, all we did was start a week earlier. Truckers had to know this was coming and they have had eight months to do something about it.
  13. What raw data do you want? Raw data means it hasn't been verified. There is no way VAERS or the CDC can verify every report it gets, there are millions of them coming from sources everywhere. If I have a big problem with VAERS is that it seems to give the same weight to individual reports as it does to reports from medical professionals and hospitals. VAERS is like a weathervane that gives wind direction but not velocity. It can tell you where there might be issues but their actual numbers are not reliable because they are not vetted. The same might be said about the CDC's report on long term effects of the virus itself and that is why they don't give actual numbers. This is what they are seeing from the reports they are getting. Are you saying they are not seeing this and why do you think you are in a position or have the qualifications to know better? What I find stunning (and somewhat hilarious) is how people will cherry pick VAERS to claim how bad vaccines are but totally ignore the CDC when in comes to long term effects and symptoms from the virus itself, while still claiming to be objective. It's the same bloody organization.
  14. Depends on the area. While in the north and some other interior places it is low, in the south west BC (majority of population) vaccination rate of kids under 12 is around 80%
  15. Sure, you want raw data so you can come to an independent conclusion. So why only skepticism of official sources and not the wing nut ones others post here? I didn't just fall off the turnip truck.
  16. Ya, I know, the fatality rate would be exactly the same and the economy wouldn't have been affected if we had done nothing and had no vaccines. Gotcha. Nice deflection though.
  17. I never said I don't believe it. What I don't believe is your blowing it all out of proportion. So far 9.77 billion shots have been given world wide. That's over 2 billion more than the worlds population.
  18. If it was my 8 yr old grand daughter who suffered organ damage which affected her later in life because she wasn't vaccinated I'm sure you would understand. Remember, not getting vaccinated for chicken pox and catching it leaves you open to shingles later in life which can be much worse than chicken pox. You really don't know what you are talking about.
  19. Had mine in November. Why one would have two and not a third is beyond me. Seems more like bloody mindedness than good sense.
  20. Well you aren't very clear what you are driving at. Why don't you express the same scepticism about the sources people like Goddess throw out there. Excuse me if I am sceptical about where you are coming from.
  21. Doesn't matter, you will interpret it any way you want. CDC and Mayo aren't credible. Got it.
  22. Look up VAERS and you will know. I don't know. The CDC article first came out in 2019 but was updated Sept 2021.
  23. You mean like VAERS?
  24. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/long-term-effects/index.html https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/coronavirus-long-term-effects/art-20490351 Mice nuts. Right? Back to your conspiracy sites.
  25. I’m not saying there is no link between the vaccines and myocarditis but it is purely statistical, there has been no physiological link found. Both doctors were expressing opinions and the first one was right, it is inconclusive.
