  1. Who said there shouldn't be any restrictions. We already have them in Canada even though they aren't law. What restrictions would you be comfortable with other than an outright ban? People don't go to jail for not praying, except in totalitarian theocracies, which seems to be the road America is headed down. Like god doesn't have anything better to do than worry about picking sides in games. Like god cares who is the best prayer, not the best player. Both sides pray during wars as well. How does that work out?
  2. You present the Tucker spin. At least the Vox spin is based on real data. You think it should be banned outright and people should be jailed. You represent a small minority.
  3. VOX is not the source. The sources were Pew, YouGov and Gallup.
  4. You have a problem with the University of Texas as a source? Not surprising from someone who relies on Q and Tucker.

  6. Like where. Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, Japan, almost every western country? Keep telling yourself fairy tales while you run up the body count.
  7. Originalists have their heads stuck in the 1700's and are unable to evolve. They will eventually become extinct like the dinosaurs.
  8. Works pretty well everywhere else.
  9. Originalists are dinosaurs who can't cope with change.
  10. That's the American solution to everything. Ignore the reasons people do things and just put them in jail. Simplistic, lazy and stupid.
  11. If you aren't willing to take basic steps to keep people from having guns that shouldn't have them, you are justifying them. You are an accomplice through negligence. You don't have two brain cells.
  12. It puts people in jail. But what the hell, they already have more people in jail than any other country, what's a few more.
  13. It's widely accepted that the most prosperous time in US history was between the end of WW2 and the seventies. You don't know much about American history.
  14. This ruling allows states to make it a criminal offence.
  15. Provinces have no obligation to give health care to Americans regardless of what Trudeau says.
  16. This law only impacts women. Men can discuss it all they want and then walk away and leave women with the problem.
  17. As you just said, ultimately it is all on the woman so why shouldn't it be her choice? Why should men get to decide for her when they do not bear responsibility?
  18. What a crock. Time for the US to grow up and join the civilized world. I'd be more worried about the knobs who think they need guns to defend themselves from an elected government. As we can see (Jan 6) they are the ones most likely to install their great leader (Trump) and be the death of democracy.
  19. The US is a backward country in many ways, these latest decisions are just an example.
  20. The problem is the people who let anyone get their hands on these weapons and then make excuses for the carnage they create. The writers of the constitution didn't foresee semi auto weapons used to commit mass shootings in supermarkets and schools so stop justifying them.
  21. They were invented by humans, there is no such thing in nature. A creator is also a human invention.
  22. Just a bunch of mass shootings. Body counts don't count when it comes to you lot. Of course they knew there would be AR-15's back in 1776.
  23. Rights are a human invention. The natural world knows nothing about them. "God" has nothing to do with any of them.
  24. The US does not have universal health care, federal or state. Per capita, it is the most expensive health care in the world by far, 53% more than #2 Switzerland. 140% more than Finland. About 30 million Americans do not have insurance.
