  1. How the hell am I poised to do nothing about the worlds population? Why do you think the rest of the world isn't entitled to the same standard of living as you. What makes you so special that you can dump all the CO2 into the atmosphere that you want and others shouldn't be allowed to do the same?
  2. Continuing to add billions of tons of CO2 to the atmosphere every year without doing anything to slow it is flushing civilization down the toilet.
  3. https://climate.nasa.gov/news/3206/nasa-studies-find-previously-unknown-loss-of-antarctic-ice/ https://climate.nasa.gov/news/2342/the-hidden-meltdown-of-greenland/
  4. I did not. You just can't admit CO2 is a greenhouse gas. You just dance around it with nonsense.
  5. There are already more buyers than EV's. As long as that is the case we don't need to subsidize them.
  6. That's really stupid. A mere 3% melt of Greenland's ice sheet would result in a 10 inch rise in sea levels. And then there is the Antarctic.
  7. That was two and a half years ago when there were no vaccines. Please keep up.
  8. The Greenland ice sheet is 2900 km long and 1100 km wide at its widest point. It's average depth is 1.5 km. If it melts, we are f*****d. And then there is the Antarctic. which dwarfs Greenland.
  9. So debate is just a bunch of BS that no one has to back up. Sounds like a total waste of time.
  10. Sea ice is one thing but glacial melt is what increases sea levels.
  11. Will be due for my bivalent booster in November. Don't really care what you guys do.
  12. So you have no objection to the average Chinese or Indian having the same standard of living and carbon footprint as the average Canadian.
  13. Learn the difference between an element and a compound. Compounds have characteristics that are totally different from the individual elements that make them up. Sulfur, hydrogen and oxygen are all pretty benign, mix them together and you have sulphuric acid. Go drink a litre of that.
  14. It isn't wet either so go breath some water.
  15. Water vapour is a greenhouse gas produced by burning fossil fuels. Because of its short life in the atmosphere it is not a big contributor to warming.
  16. Water vapour is also a greenhouse gas,.
  17. You can put out a fire with CO2 as well. As a matter of fact they put it in fire extinguishers. Your point?
  18. Ya, I do. You can't have carbon dioxide without carbon. The carbon comes from the fuel you are using combining with the oxygen in the air.
  19. And yet an estimated 4 billion people watched it, the largest TV audience in history. A billion and a half more than Chuck and Di's weeding. They could have charged more for adds than the Super Bowl.
  20. Less and less. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/bidens-approval-hits-11-month-high-as-trumps-falls-to-one-of-his-lowest/ar-AA120gO6
  21. He does not threaten restrictions, he just says higher vaccination rates will make them less likely and hospitalization rates will dictate the need for restrictions. As a matter of fact, he just mentioned the possible need for provincial restrictions. Sometimes I wonder if you folks have some sort of listening disability. Someone says something and you hear something different.
