If a US bound cargo flight gets blown out of the air, doing nothing will be problematic. He's the prez, he won't be able to ignore it. On the other hand, if Trump abandons Ukraine, the US will no longer be a target. Seems to me that Putin has more chips in this game than Trump.

Trump says he can end the war. How? He can pull the rug out from under Ukraine but what can he do to Russia that the US hasn't already done short of military force. My guess is he will do the former. Either the rest of NATO will have to step up even more or Ukraine will be toast and the US will be seen as an unreliable ally.

Of course it's possible, it will benefit those with the most money. We have seen it in BC where foreign speculators have bought multiple units and they sat empty. They get the GST break and the person who actually ends up buying the place to live in will end up paying tax. I'm not saying this is a bad idea, I think it could be good if done right, just that it seems like another PP ism that is just thrown out there with no indication that it has been properly thought through.
