Bullshit. If their charges were dropped how do you know they were “caught” doing those things and not just innocent people caught up in mass arrests? The primary reason for dropping charges is lack of evidence. But you have some special knowledge they these were all guilty perpetrators with sufficient evidence? A standard police tactic during protests is just to seal off an area and then just arrest every one inside the perimeter including innocent bystanders, reporters, property owners etc.

Conservatives never really believe in the rule of law, which is that one rule applies to everyone. At least not fully. They believe people should be treated according to “what they deserve” and “whose side you’re on” and “who you’re supposed to feel sorry for” Take a look at all the convicted war criminals Trump pardoned and how conservatives reacted to civilian casualties and war crimes in Iraq as one example. They don’t deny the facts of the events it’s just about “whose side they’re on”. Even in a lot of the police brutality cases we hear comments like “I don’t feel sorry for someone who is on welfare, has 13 kids in foster care and a criminal record” as if that has anything to do with the actual brutality event.

I’m gonna be in your backyard in a couple of months.” Newly elected congressman Madison Cawthorn is next on stage and calls his fellow members of Congress “cowards.” While promoting baseless conspiracy theories about voting machines, Giuliani adds “let’s have trial by combat” which warrants a huge cheer from the crowd. Trump arrives on stage and immediately hypes up the crowd by claiming that there are “hundreds of thousands” in attendance and that “they are not going to take it any longer.” Trump tells the crowd “you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength.” Trump says “we gotta get rid of the weak congresspeople. The Liz Cheneys of the world.” Trump wraps up his speech with perhaps the biggest red flag of the entire day. “We’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Ave and we’re going to. the Capitol and we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don't need any of our help, we're to try and get them the kind of pride and boldness they need to take back our country.
