  1. What’s hilarious is the Republicans total hypocrisy that’s got their second amendment base upset with them. When you have no values and arw willing to say ANYTHING you eventually getting tangled up in yourself. What got the Trump admin in hot water is claiming legal gun owners with valid carry permits have no right to protest while armed when armed protest is something the second amendment crowd is famous for. It’s a whole republican subculture Ever since Obama was first elected the gun nuts start holding public protests while brandishing AR-15 rifles, and wearing body armour and ski masks. That’s a thing they invented. The Trump admin said the fact he was armed is proof of an intent to conduct a “massacre” as if the Republicans didn’t fall all over themselves defending Kyle Rittenhouse’s supposed right to run down to a protest happening in another state with his AR-15 specifically because he wanted to be part of the action and mix it up. Then there’s the shooting itself with ICE and the Trump administration lied repeatedly about. The FACTS are 1) The deceased never drew his gun or threatened its use 2) ICE only discovered the gun AFTER his arms were pinned to the ground 3) The ICE agent shot him 4 times in the BACK FROM BEHIND while his armed were pinned to ground not in “self defense” 4) The ICE agent shot him AFTER his colleague had already removed the gun from the holster and walked away with it 5) After shooting him 4 times in the back The ICE shooter and a fellow agent shot his limp body 6 more times Just like the first killing where they shot the driver while she was driving away this is what happens when you recruit a bunch of poorly trained zealots and unleash them on society with total impunity.
  2. Well for starters you didn’t respond to any of the FACTS I cited in post above about USA not buying European military equipment and even rigging bids to exclude them. And instead attacked me. How bout them apples?
  3. I see this thread has aged well. We have all seen Trump’s aggression against Europe on full display, confirming everything in the OP. Destroying the NATO alliance so he can annex Greenland, which he ignorantly kept calling Iceland in his debased unhinged rambling diatribe in Davos. Meanwhile, while I don’t know why there were 11 officers to arrest that woman (if that’s even true) that doesn’t make it “tactical”. She was jot taken down by a SWAT team which is what “tactical” means. Furthermore as rights based democracy the voters of Europe are free to elect or un-elect the government or challenge itnin court if the people disagree with its policies at no point is the US entitled to meddle in internal politics by subverting those governments and aiding opposition parties. This is the same Teump government who thinks Doug Ford’s 100% accurate and transparent TV ads was unacceptable foreign meddling yet here they are proposing to interfere in the internal politics of their “allies” to impose their own twisted ideology 💯
  4. LOL TRUMP BACKED DOWN YOU LOSER. He demanded NOTHING LESS than ownership. He said it was NON-NEGOTIABLE. He got nothing. He threatened tariffs. Threatened military force but backed off both. This guy has been a bought a paid for Russian shill for over a decade. Regular contributor to Russian property outlets like RT. He also holds all kind of rightwing nutjob beliefs like America had more white slaves than black slaves. Id you deel so strongly about Russias right to invade and conquer other countries, go fight. No? Whats rhe matter chicken little? Don’t want to end up like that other Trump & Putin loving American. MAGA fool who went to fight and was raped and murdered by his RUSSIAN fellow soldiers? Bet you never heard of that genius sisnyou? His wife is still complaining they won’t return his body.
  5. No you’re being dishonest again. He repeatedly confirmed invasion was on the table. Nobody made that up. The Europeand sent a tripwire force to Greenland. He then proclaimed any country resisting his annexation would be tariffed commencing Feb 1. That’s also a fact. After saying NOTHING LESS than full ownership of Greenland would suffice and that it was NON-NEGOTIABLE amd that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DEFEND SOMETHING YOU DONT OWN, he suddenly backed off all these claims with a lame excuse about some vague alleged “framework for future discussions” which so far appears to be a totally made up thing. Yes everyone rightly condemns the bully for trying to steal the other kids’ lunch money and everyone then laughs at the bully when someone stands up to him and he runs home to mommy crying. Nobody in their right mind would think that’s hypocritical.
  6. Same was said of Ukrainians. Nobody thought they would dare to stand up to Russia. Like Canada they barely had a military and hadn’t seen a real war in genertions…simce ww2 actually. Everyone knows that’s just more of his random lies and bullshit gibberish. He said that ONCE in a response to a reporter who was accurately pointing out that his pressure tactics were backfiring and getting Liberals elected as a backlash. And because he can’t admit his mistakes he lies and says he did it on purpose, which makes zero sense. His own national security strategy calls for undermining liberal governments in Europe and supporting far right fringe parties.
  7. I don’t criticize him for refusing to invade Greenland. I’m laughing at the bully that came for our lunch money and ran away after he got bopped in the nose. Yeah I criticize Trump for invading Venezuela to installing himself to “run” the same alleged “narco-terrorist” regime he said was justification for invasion in the first place, stealing their oil, and then using that as leverage to steal the Nobel prize from the duly elected leader who earned it for resisting said “narco-terrorists” while falsely claiming she’s not respected
  8. This is just typical right wing nonsense where they whine that any and every policy they don’t personally agree with is no different than Stalin. They’ve been doing it since the dawn of time
  9. Nice propaganda. What ACTUALLY happened is that TACO chickened out. He originally said “nothing less” than US ownership would do. Now he’s canceling all his threats in exchange for a “framework” for some sort of vague “future agreement” on Greenland’s security where US ownership isn’t even explicitly stated. TACO lost, plain and simple Only with nukes. Their conventional army has failed to achieve its objectives for 4 years now. And it’s eating their economy. They’re deep in hock to China, perhaps irreversibly so.
  10. I suspect he knows far more about it than any MAGA troll who is googling it for the first time today! Of course he didn’t quote Havel’s entire work but you seem to be implying that it somehow contradicts his speech or policies, which it doesn’t.
  11. That’s normal for people who think when they speak and give intelligent thoughtful answers. Crazy people who rant at the moon and ramble directionlessly like Trump not so much. .
  12. People who are attracted to tyrants like Negan are attracted to strongmen and wannabe pseudo-strongmen like Trump. They think people who can commit abuse with impunity are powerful and that bu supporting those people they can bathe in the reflected glow, or at least be safe from being on the receiving end.
  13. Nope you are wrong again! Once again it was TRUMP who folded like a cheap suit. TACO now says no invasion and no tariffs for Greenland
  14. All anyone needs to know about Davos is that Carney stole the show with epic and eloquent speech for the history books that got a rare standing ovation, while trump as expected when on a meandering batshit lie-filled racist rant, a “corollary” of his earlier UN performance. Then TACO chickened out of his Greenland invasion AND tariff threats, his excuse being a vague reference to some secret “framework” for a potential future agreement with the NATO secretary (notably not Greenland or Denmark or anyone else) which he said satisfactory. Total 100% reversal of his recent statements about annexation being non-negotiable. The real reason of course is because European institutions started selling off US bonds and the market tanked just like on “Liberation Day” when TACO chickened out of those tariffs. Trump’s threats to invade and annex terror from his allies is what creates fear of Trump. Carney’s speech was 100% accurate and applied to all hegemons including CHINA and Russia not just Trump
  15. The right wing populist movement that was the tea party supported Trump and became the MAGA base. It’s the same people, The same Fox News personalities like Sean Hanitu promoting it, the only notable absence is Glenn Beck. the half-baked ideology if you can even call it that shifted slightly to parrot the new messiah’s rhetoric. Even Charlie Kirk got his start from Tea Party activist Bill Montgomery, who is the one who convinced him to get into political activism and helped him found TPUSA. Yes I get that they have different core ideologies, Tea Party wanted weak limited government and had no central leader. MAGA wants all-powerful, unaccountable government, entirely in the hands of a single, vengeful god-like leader who is worshipped with unquestioning devotion. But most of the Tea Party made the switch because both were right wing populist movements the rank and file of populist movements are low-education, tribal, and low intellect and ideologically flexible to begin with
  16. I do but you clearly don’t. Tea Partiers didn’t get in a rocket ship and conveniently leave the planet when MAGA came around. What do you think happened to them? They became the core constituency of the MAGA movement even if some of its few true believers in libertarianism and limited government like Rand Paul kept a distance.
  17. DUDE. COME ON. Tea Party rebranded into MAGA. It’s the same clown car of uneducated boobs and conspiracy kooks with their misspelled signs and ZERO education or independent knowledge of the topics they rant about
  18. Chec As has been stated repeatedly, the US has ZERO reason to “own” Greenland to ensure its security. 1) It already has a base there and full authority to build more (it recently closed several) as well as full authority to conduct any missions it wants from those bases. 2) Any Russian Chine or other “attack” on Greenland would already trigger a NATO Article 5 defence in which USA could intervene (although Trump admin is already on record saying that it international law is an illusion and powers can do whatever they want) 3) The suggestion that USA must “own” a territory to defend it is ludicrous on its face. USA didn’t “own” any of the countries it has aided or defended over the past century +.
  19. 1) Dude even if what you posted is true it wouldn’t justify US annexation at all. The 2 have nothing to do with eachother 2) Since you repeatedly demonstrate you lack of knowledge on just about EVERY topic, we can assume you are completely unaware that USA had an even WORSE program for it’s indigenous people during that time. It wasn’t involuntary birth control it was involuntary STERILIZATION: Sterilization of Native American women See also: Compulsory sterilization in Canada In the 1960s and 1970s, the Indian Health Service (IHS) and collaborating physicians sustained a practice of performing sterilizations on Native American women, in many cases without the free and informed consent of their patients. Tactics for sterilization included healthcare providers neglecting to tell women they were going to be sterilized and forms of coercion such as threatening to take away welfare or healthcare.[1] In some cases, women were misled into believing that the sterilization procedure was reversible. In yet other cases, sterilization was performed without the adequate understanding and consent of the patient, including cases in which the procedure was performed on minors as young as 11 years old. The American eugenics movement set the foundations for the use of sterilization as a form of birth control, or a method to control populations of poor and minority women. This practice was widely seen in America throughout the early and middle decades of the 20th century. The compounding factor was that doctors tended to recommend sterilization to poor and minority women, where they would not have done so to a wealthier white patient.[2] This trend of sterilization was seen widely amongst Native American populations. Many instances of abuse were documented throughout this practice. Following the abusive methods, the medical community often took an effort to mask their coercive tactics.[3] In 1976, a U.S. General Accountability Office (GAO) investigation found that four Indian Health Service areas were noncompliant with IHS policies regulating consent to sterilization.[4]Inadequate consent forms were a recurring problem; the most common form did not record whether the elements of informed consent had been presented to the patient or what they were told prior to obtaining consent, and physician misunderstanding of IHS regulations was widespread.[5] The investigation found that these four service areas sterilized 3,406 women between the years 1973 and 1976, including 36 cases where women under the age of 21 were sterilized despite a declared moratorium on these sterilizations.[6] Limitations of the GAO investigation were quickly noted. Senator James Abourezk pointed out that while even 3,406 sterilizations would represent a startling proportion of Native American women, this number was the result of a report which examined only four out of twelve IHS areas.[7] Attempts to count the total number of sterilizations that happened during this period differ widely in their results. While the limited count by the GAO represents a minimum, studies have accused the IHS of sterilizing between 25 and 50% of Native American women from 1970 to 1976.[8] Should the highest estimate be accurate, up to 70,000 women may have been sterilized over the period. In comparison, the rate of sterilization for white women over the same period was approximately 15%.[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sterilization_of_Native_American_women
  20. Even in Fox News YouTube comments, which is usually just a den of MAGA trolls and bots, the opinions arw overwhelmingly opposed to annexing Greenland even when the Fox clip is supportive of it (and it often isn’t). And yet Trump and his minions in the White House continue to double down Over a decade ago, Obama was asked about how extreme the Tea Party radicals could possibly get. He replied “eventually the fever has to break”. Trump may finally bring that about. Between his destructive tariff policy that is ravaging the US economy and his rapid destruction of US political and economic leadership on the global stage, we might not only aee the Republican party gradually drift back from radical fringe, but countries like Canada finally have an opportunity to step out from America’s shadow and come into their own instead of being America’s little helper and feeding an economic system that disproportionately benefits USA. .
  21. Here ya go, sweetie US Attorney Dropped FIFA Bribery Case at Trump Official’s Behest The Justice Department’s solicitor general effectively ordered Brooklyn prosecutors to abandon two FIFA bribery convictions amid pushback from their Trump-appointed US attorney—potentially unraveling dozens of other international soccer corruption cases and hundreds of millions of dollars in recovered penalties. John Sauer, DOJ’s top Supreme Court litigator, recently relayed to Eastern District of New York chief prosecutor Joseph Nocella that he must ask a judge to overturn guilty verdicts of the former chief executive officer of Fox International Channels and an Argentine marketing company that were unanimously upheldby a federal appellate panel in July, said three people familiar with the situation. …. https://news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/us-attorney-dropped-fifa-bribery-case-at-trump-officials-behest Someone is getting a return on that half million dollar per year Trump Family Bribe club membership! Or did they go for the Trump Crypto scam bribe option? Or both?
  22. Prominent defense Youtuber Ryan MacBeth breaks down the disastrous consequences that would immediately unfold if US were to annex Greenland Unfortunately like so many Americans stuck in denial about the dire state of their country, he thinks that the fact it would be so incredibly stupid and destructive to American interests means it won’t happen. He doesn’t recognize the extent of Trump’s ignorance and depravity even though that clip of The Joker sums it up perfectly This gets called out quite a bit in the YouTube comments
  23. Greenland already has defence from USA and NATO, you clueless dipshit
