  1. Link? What link is that? Surely you're not talking about Beave's wildly partisan links to places like CNN and the Brennan Center that had nothing to do with your ridiculous claim racist Republicans were closing polls to prevent blacks from voting. The more recent polling closures complained about have been for for blacks and whites. They began following a supreme court decision in 2012 when Obama was in power. A Democrat Governor closed the majority of polling stations in Kentucky to advantage the pandemic by switching to sending out unsolicited ballots. Supposedly this would keep Poll workers safe from the virus. Forbes Magazine tells us: And one more time in case you missed it. The guy doing it was a Democrat.
  2. What is it with you guys with crazier opinions that you can't at least figure out how the quote function works? Here, I'll help you. See, how I'm typing below the quote box. You can do that every time you click the quotation mark icon in the chat box. Now as to this idea of yours that it's hypocritical of me not to give you links as to where I got the idea Democrats exploited weaknesses in the system during the pandemic year of 2020 while noticing how you keep posting some insane claim that republicans are closing polling stations to keep blacks from voting without showing where you discovered such an outrageous claim. I actually have posted links to support how rules were changed or advantaged to exploit the year of the Chi-Com virus. More than once. You seem to have missed it. I'll give them to you again if you like but first let's educate you on your idea Republicans won't let blacks vote. Many poll sites have been closed down since 2012. Here's why: That was 2012. If you can't remember who was President in 2012 to 2017, it was Barrack Obama. Then it wasn't. When it wasn't the closures became an issue Democrats and their corporate media wanted to whine about. They claimed it could affect black votes. However, it wasn't just blacks who were affected: Now we see why you didn't want to offer a link. As to my hypocrisy... Would you like to see a link giving an example of how Democrats were able to advantage the pandemic to create new rules? Here ya go. The link's in the title. Click it. Jim Crow 2.0? How Kentucky’s Poll Closures Could Suppress Black Votes And let's remember Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear at the time was a Democrat.
  3. I don't know what you're talking about concerning "closure of 24 booths in the south" but I notice you're hesitant about offering a link. Generally when people do that it's because there's more or less to it than what they're suggesting and they're hoping nobody will notice. As far as one of us being mistaken on the nature of democracy, I suggest it's you. Democracy is not opening up election rules to allow one party (in this case, the Democrats) to exploit them. Rules need to be fair while being as open as possible to both sides and secure from outside intervention. This is what the recent Republican tweaks attempt, following the Democrats taking advantage of the pandemic and unclear rules in 2020 to rig the election. (Notice, I didn't say fraud, so don't try to divert me there. Others of your ilk have tried. Didn't work for them. Won't work for you.)
  4. You don't honestly expect anybody to believe that, do you? Tell you what. If you can find someone who thinks that makes sense you can keep 'em.
  5. Keep talking, Beave. Proggy desperation is the only cure for my insomnia. Luckily there's lots of it.
  6. You're not doing yourself any favors, Beave. Did you ever hear the one about how the left wants the right to shut up and the right wants the left to keep talking? So...keep talking, Bud.
  7. Here's what they're really up to: " Democrats have challenged the legitimacy of every presidential election they’ve lost this millennium: They blamed a corrupt Supreme Court for their defeat in 2000, crooked voting machines in 2004 and Russian interference in 2016 – sparking a years-long collusion hoax to knee-cap Trump’s presidency. But now, as President Biden’s poll numbers tank, his legislative agenda falters and his party’s 2022 prospects look increasingly grim, they and their media allies are adding a new twist to the tactic: They’re challenging elections before they happen. Prestigious news outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, the Atlantic, NPR and the New York Review of Books warn that American democracy is under siege. With headlines ripped straight from Democratic Party talking points they argue that Republicans are planning a two-pronged coup to seize power in 2022 and beyond. Step one, they say, is a series of election laws being passed by GOP state legislatures designed to thwart the will of the people. Anyone who has bothered to read these pieces of legislation – which modify but still maintain early voting, mail-in voting, and other open-ballot measures – knows that their impact will be negligible. That hasn’t stopped Biden and others from describing them as “Jim Crow in the 21st Century.” Note this is the same argument they made for years about voter ID laws, which, studies show, do not suppress minority turnout. Further claims that the laws will allow state legislatures to pick the winners despite the tallies is also a fabrication. The intent of this argument is clear – to cast doubt on the legitimacy on all Republican victories. That it is being made by the same people who relentlessly (and correctly) assail Trump’s false claims that he won the 2020 election demonstrates their bad faith." https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2021/12/29/the_democrats_problem_with_democracy.html
  8. I get a chuckle out of people who tell you they're independent while they pretend that none of those happened but they're all over Jan. 6. Then they post quotes from RINOs and infiltrators like David Frum, Andrew Sullivan or the Lincoln project like those tools of progdom have some sort of inside knowledge on Conservatives. Good for a laugh, anyway.
  9. Again you produce what you wish I said, not what I actually said. Give that one up, Bud, it doesn't work. I never mentioned "two wrongs." I was pretty clear in telling you I think what the Republicans did was correct. The new rules make future elections open to legitimate voters while making them less vulnerable to partisan manipulation. I only recognize one set of wrongs and those came from the Democrats and their supporters in 2020. Oh and speaking of giving up, do give up on that water nonsense. The Georgia Law isn't about restricting water to voters in line. It says, and I quote myself from the 1st page:
  10. I said nothing of the kind about theft. You have to stop this business of reimagining what you wish people had said and presenting it as what they did say even though they didn't. I know it's the "progressive" thing to do (you all do it) but normal people don't like it. Please stop that. Here I'll explain it in a way you will understand - I think - because you said it above: However, you were projecting to something you thought the Republicans did that you worried would rig future elections. That isn't what the Republicans did. Some republican legislators brought in rules to ensure safe, fair, secure elections. They brought in improved rules to plug the exploits the Democrats brought in during the 2020 pandemic election to rig the election. The 2020 election rig was done for the most part legally, but it created exploits that made it possible to rig that election and future ones if they weren't fixed.
  11. Wouldn't work. Liberals would find a way to slip in a 2 headed coin and arrange to have the rules say they always called first.
  12. And as I made clear I wasn't talking about criminal fraud. I gave you multiple examples of how the vote was rigged during the 2020 election by legally creating exploits within the rules under the chaos of the pandemic. Zuckerbucks was an example. Pushing through the policy of unsolicited ballots was another. My point was those new pandemic rules were exploited. What the Republicans are trying to do is plug those holes to make elections secure, fair and open. You and your leftist Brennan center buddies want to keep those easily exploited 2020 pandemic holes in the election process open.
  13. I'm not familiar with that one about that one about how "Mail-out" votes were well established before 2020. I'm talking about where ballots were indiscriminately mailed out to unconfirmed or unrequested possible voters. Not until 2020 anyway. If you know of some evidence as to it being what you call "well established," as opposed to say an example of it being tried out in a couple of places I'd love to see it, but I won't hold my breath. I think I did hear about them trying it out once in Nevada. And as I recall there were complaints.
  14. That's something you'd like to believe, of course, but that doesn't make it a fact. And what you'd like to believe proves the sum total of nothing. BTW, if you'd like to see another example of Progressives pushing for unsolicited mail-out ballots you might want to check out the link you gave to the Brennan center on the previous page. They give a list of what they call restrictive bills they oppose that the Republicans want to push through. Here's one: "prohibiting sending out unsolicited mail ballot applications (e.g., MI H.B. 5268)"
  15. "A Michigan court ruled in favor of the state’s top election official Wednesday, allowing her to mail unsolicited absentee ballot applications to registered voters statewide, a decision that comes as states across the nation are seeking to make it easier to vote by mail amid the coronavirus pandemic." https://www.forbes.com/sites/danielcassady/2020/09/16/court-allows-michigan-to-send-unsolicited-applications-to-vote-by-mail-to-registered-voters/?sh=664849b62120 Progressive media - in particular what they like to call "fact checkers," refused to make the distinction Trump did between the established practice of solicited "mail-in" votes and unsolicited "mail-out" votes. Trump liked mail-in votes from authentic absentee voters. He'd used the method himself. He opposed mail-outs to any place with an address, so to speak.
  16. Do you know what 'begging the question" is? Not the new Prog perversion of the term but the original meaning. Originally 'begging the question' was what they call a rhetorical fallacy. It's when you introduce an unproven suggestion as fact, then you offer up that little bit of imaginative zippity do dah as proof of something else you wish was true. It's what you did up there when you put some unqualified proposals from the Brennan center forward as factual proof of another unproven proposal. Basically: Here's who the Brennan center are: Here's what happened in 2020. Democrats their lawyers and their NGO's got a bunch of new or "improved" rules pushed through for 2020 that were supposed to be workarounds for the pandemic. Things like Ballot box pick ups by who knows who or ballots sent indiscriminately through the mail without restrictions. You could gather ballots for others. Another thing they did that was particularly egregious was what the Brennan center calls "public funding of elections." This allowed leftist billionaires like Zuckerberg to skate around election laws. 2020 ‘Zuckerbucks’ dumped in eight states, 90% to Biden counties But that was the pandemic year of 2020. In 2021 the Republicans wanted to plug the holes in the election process that had been opened up under cover of pandemic confusion. In some states and districts they did that. Nothing they did "degrades democracy." They plugged new holes in the process that allowed new exploits in 2020. The Progs of the Brennan center and apparently Eyeball don't like that. Tough. Happy midterms.
  17. You're talking about the Georgia law then? Even what you leftists call your "fact checkers" admit that's not a fact. They claim "mostly false" but the headline is A Georgia law has not “criminalized giving people bottles of water.” It pertains to political organizations. https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/mar/29/josh-holmes/facts-about-georgias-ban-food-water-giveaways-vote/ Political advocates can't offer food, drink or other gifts to those waiting in line to vote in Georgia. Poll workers however can make water available. What else ya got?
  18. Which "feverish changes?" Give an example.
  19. Ontario (Canada) Admits 50% of “COVID” Hospitalizations Not From COVID, Death Count May Also Be Misleadin " COVID hospitalizations and deaths throughout this pandemic have been inaccurately reported. This has been made clear by government health officials throughout the pandemic in multiple regions across the planet. One of them is in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s chief medical officer, reaffirmed this once again in a press conference held at the end of December. She stated that Ontario’s daily reported COVID hospitalization numbers haven’t been telling the fully story. She confirmed that approximately 50% of COVID hospitalizations represent people who aren’t actually there suffering from COVID, but have gone to the hospital with something else, like a broken leg, and just happened to test positive. The Toronto Sun was one of the few media outlets to emphasize this. Brampton (an outskirt of the Greater Toronto Area) Mayor Patrick Brown Echoed Moore’s statements. On Dec 29, 2021 CTV News Toronto reported that he has heard from a number of physicians that COVID hospitalization numbers may not necessarily paint an accurate picture of the current situation in the province. He said that approximately 50 per cent of people in hospitals diagnosed with COVID were admitted for another reason." https://thepulse.one/2022/01/05/ontario-canada-admits-50-of-covid-hospitalizations-not-from-covid-deaths-count-may-also-be-misleading/
  20. Here's another stat the "pandemic of the unvaccinated" aren't bragging about lately: Last updated: January 5, 2022 at 9:25 a.m. (EST) Hospitalizations by vaccination status In hospital but not the ICU Unvaccinated cases 471 Partially vaccinated cases 108 Fully vaccinated cases 1073 Oh and BTW masks and lockdowns don't work. On this one you don't even need the science (even though you can make a good case it agrees.) All you need is common sense. We know masks and lockdowns (I would add vaccine passports and segregation of the unvaccinated) don't work because they haven't worked.
  21. Actually 14 new deaths were reported today in Ontario, but it's not clear over what time period and one hears about the general confusion between those admitted for covid and those admitted with covid. Here's another real important stat in Ontario that they seem all of a sudden shy to talk about: "Of those who tested positive, the Ministry of Health says 1,554 were unvaccinated, 386 were partially vaccinated, 9,255 were fully vaccinated and 387 had an unknown vaccination status." https://www.cp24.com/news/ontario-reports-14-new-covid-19-deaths-hospitalizations-up-62-per-cent-in-one-day-1.5728291 There was no hesitancy in producing that stat at the beginning of the Delta Wave when the unvaccinated to vaccinated ratio was flipped the other way around.

" There is no point in trying to stop all infections, says the head of Britain's vaccine body: 'Society has to open up' Fourth COVID jabs should not be offered until there is more evidence they are effective, the head of Britain’s vaccine body has warned, as he said giving boosters to the whole population every six months was “not sustainable”. https://nationalpost.com/news/world/we-cant-jab-the-whole-planet-every-six-months
