The push is on of the Omicron or Omnicon virus.
Infidel Dog replied to taxme's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Is that your theory? Maybe. A bit at least. I heard another one that says a high proportion of colds and flus were diagnosed as covid. When you consider all comorbidities we know were diagnosed as covid deaths it's not hard to believe flu would get mixed in with the bunch. But let's say your theory is the only real truth. Are you suggesting then that mask mandates, lockdowns and passport segregation continue indefinitely to fight flu now? Big fan of government control, are you? You know, there's a side for that? -
What is this Q anon crap some of you seem so obsessed about? I have a vague idea but I was under the impression whatever they were they're gone. Nobody I read talks about them. Yet it seems to be something you and yours don't seem to be able to let go of. Like it cut you too deep or something. You know...like Trump. Psst...did you hear the news? He's no longer President. Pass it on.

I kind of like social distancing though. Never was a hugger or a hand-shaker. -

Really? Give us some evidence that any of that has worked this time. We had some unusual cold clean weather this year so I pulled my mask up over my nose and blew out my mouth. I saw steam. No aerosol protection. Case closed. Masks don't work. We don't even need to look at all the studies that say they don't work. Drug-store masks don't offer virus protection. It even says so on the box. -

Sure I'll help you out. It's called 2 tier justice. And that's not a good thing. You disagree because at present it favours your side. Stick around though, these things tend to flip. Let's see if you still love it when it does. I'll give you an example of how it works. Remember how Antifa and BLM were walking in and out of the justice system like it was a MacDonald's there to serve them fast with celebrities and Dem Politicos giving them virtual High Fives while Kamila helped organize funding for quick releases? Now let's look at how they handle the Jan. 6 capitol building invaders. This one's from a right wing tongue in cheek article titled Lump of Coal Awards, 2021: " The D.C. District Court: Justice is not blind before the judges sitting on one of the most powerful courts in the country. Every judge—whether appointed by Trump or Obama or Reagan—is playing along with the Justice Department’s abusive prosecution of Capitol defendants. Judges routinely describe January 6 as a “riot” or an “insurrection.” The presumption of innocence has been torched as judges turn pretrial detention hearings into ex parte trials where protesters have no chance to defend themselves against biased judges carrying out the regime’s commands. Each judge has signed off on an least one pretrial detention order, sending even nonviolent offenders to languish in the D.C. Gulag. At the same time, the same judges push trial dates into the middle of next year, repeatedly excluding time from the speedy trial clock (which is 70 days) and tolerating the government’s lengthy delays in discovery and Brady rule obligations. Chief Judge Beryl Howell actually scolded the Justice Department for going too light on January 6 defendants by not recommending harsher sentences and by lowballing damage estimates. Judge Tanya Chutkan, an Obama appointee, has sentenced trespassers to jail time, even in cases where prosecutors have recommended home detention. The entire bench is a national disgrace."

"CNN's Jeremy Diamond reported to Twitter on Friday that during a call between President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill and children who were calling into NORAD to track Santa, a dad spoke up at the end of the call and said "Let's go Brandon," to which the President said "Let's go Brandon, I agree." https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-biden-says-lets-go-brandon-i-agree-during-christmas-call-with-kids-and-parents -

Want a chuckle? Check this one out: https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/its-beginning-to-look-a-lot-like-clotshot/ It's a collection of people passing out from the clotshot. There's also accompanying headlines of deaths in the news. -

Thanks for the link. That CBC claim kind of defies belief. So I checked out the source Justin McElroy claimed he made his chart from. I couldn't find the exact data he says he found but I did find this one for the month including all but one day of the 2 weeks Justin claimed he was using: http://www.bccdc.ca/Health-Info-Site/PublishingImages/health-info/diseases-conditions/covid-19/data/Surveillance_2012.PNG Pretty radical difference don't you think? What might explain that? Other than more CBC BS, I mean. These guys below used the same 2 weeks in Justin of CBC's wild eyed claim and they say it looks more like this: Over the past two weeks (Dec. 7-20) this is how cases hospitalized broke down from unvaccinated to vaccinated: Not vaccinated: 122 (66.7%) Partially vaccinated: 7 (3.8%) Fully vaccinated: 54 (29.5%) https://www.kamloopsbcnow.com/watercooler/news/news/COVID_19/BC_reports_record_high_COVID_19_case_count_for_second_straight_day#fs_106628 Get serious though. Did that radical CBC claim even make sense to you? I mean, really... -
I'm thinking, hundreds...probably more. It wouldn't just be BLM. Like remember those clowns who took over the Wisconsin state house a few years ago. How many of those would Beave and Nancy want to see shot if they'd been right wingers? Then there was that "insurrection" after Trump's inauguration when they burned down the Whitehouse church.

This is all moot. Omicron appears to be taking over and the vax to unvaxxed stats will change. Also the case to hospitalization and death ratios. That's my prediction anyway. -

Don't know how you arrived at that. Might help if you offered a link. Here try this one for BC: A little more than twice as many unvaccinated were hospitalized in BC over the past 2 weeks. You're off by about 21 times. But yeah, what they're calling a vaccine seemed to have some therapeutic effect. -

Are they? Weren't the vaccines supposed to protect you from getting the disease? That's the impression I was getting at one time. Did they change the definition? But yeah, what they're calling a vaccine appears to have some therapeutic value. More adverse effects than they'd like to admit to, too. -

Yeah, I heard an interesting theory on Japan. It suggest they may have some sort of natural immunity developing. The theory is it's a racially specific, biochemical thing. Florida is interesting too. They pretty much decimated Delta using the "vaccine" and monoclonal antibodies. But now Omicron has hit. Cases are suddenly skyrocketing. It doesn't appear to be affecting the death stats yet, though. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/florida/ -

And 88% of Ontario-yos over 12 years old have been vaccinated. So vaccinations increase and cases increase. That's not a vaccine. There are more vaccinated than unvaccinated in Ontario hospitals but less than half as many in the ICU. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data That's a therapeutic, like Monoclonal antibodies, or Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin. Which is better? Who knows? The other 3 have never been properly considered. Big Pharma won't allow it. Adverse effects and potential future harm to the immune system seems to be a worse concern with the mRNA Pfizer, Moderna type therapeutic though. The best protection seems to remain natural immunity. Be nice to have easy access to all potential therapeutics and prophylactics though. Just in case. -
Somebody points out the lies and nutty policies of those on the top of the Democratic Party. You tell him those loony tunes are just as "confused and stuck in the mud as anyone these days." Fair enough... Yet even though both parties Gerrymander, you want to tell us it only matters when Republicans to it. Hard to take that kind of unreasoned reasoning seriously. You should have been able to figure that out yourself. It's pretty basic yet here we are...and I've had to explain it to you twice now and I doubt you've figured it out yet. Not to worry. You're not the first Progressive I've had to explain something simple to 5 or 6 times before they get it. My patience is endless, I think.

That was in reply to: It was kind of a recurring theme from you on the first page that if the left does something disreputable it's OK because that's just the way of the world. Everybody does it. Except...apparently that's not true with Gerrymandering. Apparently that only matters when republicans do it. And thanks for making me read all that first page crap all over again. What? You couldn't just do that yourself?
