  1. Yep, followed all those things. We shall see if there is anything else that takes it beyond he said, she said.
  2. Was the PMO pressuring the AG or the MOJ?
  3. You're getting into the weeds now. My point was simply to clarify the powers the AG has. You can argue your opinions of the case at your leisure.
  4. This is the very reason why the AG and Justice Minister jobs need to be not given to one person.
  5. And if it doesn't meet those requirements the AG still has the power to intervene.
  6. According to early election polls it looks like Trump's buddy Netanyahoo has fallen behind. Some of the pundits claim it may have to do with his cozying up to Trump. I hope the trend carries on, I never liked Benjamin anyway, and he has some upcoming criminal proceedings to keep him busy.
  7. What rue seems to be having trouble with is understanding the the AG has power over the DPP with regard to a dpa.
  8. I suggest you look up the DPP act and read a bit. All will be revealed in the fullness of time.
  9. Ahhh, yes your correct, you do seem to understand the AG has the final say on a dpa. Maybe you should speak to rue and clue him in.
  10. You know, that other right winger who thinks he's saving the world.
  11. No comparison. She has an IQ above room temp. Sorry.
  12. His approval ratings hardly ever move because the right wing, poorly educated crowd that support him don't know any better.
  13. Now that Kirstjen Neilsen has been ousted it looks like Stephen Miller is now in charge of the borders. Not that I was ever a fan of Nielsen, but Trump has really found a new swamp scum makes any sensible persons skin crawl. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/center-trump-s-homeland-chaos-stephen-miller-lone-survivor-n992196
  14. Trumps approval ratings are nowhere near Obamas two years in. Obama approval was at 50.2%, Trump at 39.6%. Disapproval Trump 55.9%, Obama 43.3%.
  15. I suspect the waters will calm over the summer. Who knows what may pop up in the fall.
  16. It will come down to, as it always has, a "he said, she said" situation. Scheer and Co. of course want to keep it in the headlines as long as possible. Especially as he wants to move away from his Faith Goldy friendship.
  17. He broke no law. At least according to JWR.
  18. Because Rose Knight dismissed her claim about something that may or may not have happened 19 years ago.
  19. The AG must make decisions based on law, not on potential economic concerns. The DOJ is an appointed cabinet minister and so certainly can be . Hence my suggestion to separate the two jobs.
  20. The best solution to this moving forward would be to not have the job of AG and MoJ given to the same person. You can pressure one but not the other and that's where it gets murky. And no, the PM is not above the law.
  21. I would remind you that JWR herself claimed no law was broken, and also that the SNC CEO made conflicting responses as to jobs, correcting himself and saying the jobs may well have to be moved overseas.
