Not really seeing the Kerfoot upside, if he has more than he's shown, I doubt it's much more. I mean if he ever starts shooting the puck, then maybe I could see it, but good luck with that, brace yourself for passing up open shots to force a pass the entire defense sees coming, because they know he's not going to shoot, that's probably what you're gonna get. -

Yeah gotta go over $13 million a year to make the Leafs think about it, McDavid money is matchable. -

I believe in no offer sheet rumors, I'll believe them when I see them. Perhaps Two Phones is lashing out because he didn't get Panarin, perhaps not. -

Ben Chiarot signs with the Habs for 3 years at $3.5 million AAV. I used to better than him when I was on his team in hockey school, I swear. Now he's living the dream making $4.5 million CAD a year, playing for an original six team, and he lived four blocks away from me. -

Preds should have offer sheeted and overpaid Point or Aho instead of wasting the money on Matt Duchene, silly Poile settling for overpaying 2C's, derp. If you're going to overpay a center, overpay a legit 1C. -
The road to 2020

That was the proposal actually. Bernie wants to scrap private insurance, hence why they asked the question on the debate stage and Warren and De Blassio said they wanted to scrap private insurance as well. Beto got pilled on because he took the opposite stance, because it wasn't far left enough for some them. Some medicare for all proposals want to scrap private insurance and make the public option the only option, others just want a more expansive public option added to the private option. The Democrats are not united on this front, you may have been lead to believe otherwise, but that perception is not reality. -

Ryan O'Reilly Knows. -
Tone is in the eye of the beholder. "Rude and mean spirited" it is indeed just what Progressives cry, because they are unable to attack him over anything of substance, so they attack his choice of words and his mannerisms instead. Obvious sign of the TDS crowd reaching for straws. If they had better criticisms of Trump, those would be their go to attacks, the fact that word choice is their go to attack on Trump shows how weak their hand really is. Pathological Vacuous Virtue Signaling indeed.

Both Laine and Connor are RFA's, right now the Jets have lots of cap room, but after they sign them, they'll be in cap hell. Jets vulnerable to the offer sheet, strike while the iron is hot. -

Bergevin didn't do fuck all this off season. He lowered the price of Rantanen and Marner with that Aho offer sheet, Thanks Bergevin. I know you meant for Montreal, but I wanted to rub it in. -

A smart GM would realize that, not sure Stan Bowman realizes it though, or we probably would have heard Kane trade rumors if he had. Might take another year of failure before he gives up and starts the rebuild. Hopefully Sakic could sell him on the idea sooner rather than later, but Bowman seems to have delusions they can rebuild around the same core and still win, for now anyway. -

Panarin ain't that big of a downgrade from Kane, he's never going to be Patty Kane, but he ain't too far from being that. If all Kane would cost is the Avs is Jost, Timmins, a couple of draft picks and a bucket of pucks, then pull that trigger immediately before Chicago wises up. -

Depends how much the Avs would have to give up. The upside with Panarin is that he's younger and if they signed him to the big deal, we wouldn't have to trade any assets to do so. $2 million extra in cap space consumed to not have to give up any assets, that made Panarin more appealing than Kane temporarily, now that he's signed to another team though, that's not an option obviously. -

Apparently even Brooklyn/Uniondale are little different from Columbus or Denver to the Bread Man, so the Avs had no hope in hell. #ManhattanOrBust -

PR for the fans I suppose, can't say they didn't try. Money obviously wasn't the issue, clearly lifestyle was by far the biggest factor, especially when he turned down the Islanders offer which was bigger than the Rangers as well. Apparently it was Manhattan or bust. -
Canadians are not the freest people in the world, and yeah American vassal state. Having to navigate larger powers and not being able to do anything meaningful without support of some of those major powers is an obvious sign of being a vassal. The country doesn't manage well, it's a testimony to it's fragility.
