Should Canada suspend relations with China?
montgomery replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Be very careful on how and when you refer to me. How am I ever going to get it through to you that personal attacks are out of bounds?? Maybe all I need to say for now is that the US is the pariah nation which is the world's leading war criminal aggressor, not just militarily but in all other matters too. China's only crime and by far the biggest concern of the US is in becoming the match of the US on economic clout and at least powerful enough militarily to stop US aggression throughout the world, dead in it's tracks!! -

Wrong again Dougie! The latest news is that China and India are now cooperating militarily because they both have common interests in a strong defense against US aggression. Ask me about it Dougie and if I find time from other more important matters then I can fill you in. -
In my opinion, you're wrong on about 6 counts but I know it would be a futile waste of my time to try to convince you on just about anything. I'll just once again refer to the fact that the US has started 40 wars of aggression since WW2 alone, and Afghanistan was no different. I'll always be of the opinion that starting a war in which hundreds of thousands of Afghanistan's people were slaughtered under US bombs is not an apporpriate reaction for a revenge attack by 17-19 Saudis on 911.

I'm very interested in pursuing the topic but I can't do so in that inappropriate manner. Maybe I'll get back to you tomorrow Dougie. -

That's quite unbelievable Dougie! Now you're matching up nuclear powers against each other! And of course Russia, China, or any of the other superpowers all have ability to stand up against the US and turn their big cities into glass parking lots overnight. I'm appalled at the way you seem to be entertaining the idea of nuclear war by the US against China!! -

It's my impression based on a lot of experience with Americans. And too, I've said that I can imagine you being the exception who needs to buy land in China. The Americans have become proud racists under the Trump regime. And then your accusation of trolling? Well, you know that's a no-no already don't you. I would suggest you don't do it again. I think I'll end it right there gosthacked, before it gets out of hand. -
Justin Trudeau the Worst PM Since Pierre Trudeau?
montgomery replied to bush_cheney2004's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You mean, they said they were against it but they lied and they're really for it? The Conservatives got Canada into a deal with the Saudis and you think Justin can get us out overnight. I would suggest that Justin wouldn't have got into it in the first place. Promotion of US led wars in a Conservative game, not Trudeau's game. And we all know very well that the troube being caused by the Saudis is a stepping stone to the US invasion and destruction of Iran, do'n't we Argus. -
Should Canada suspend relations with China?

When I interpret such nonsense as racism I'm nearly always right. When I hear it coming out of an American from their south, I'm spot on every time. But I do admit that you may want to buy land in China! -

montgomery replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It's nothing but hate politics for the Liberals and Trudeau. And a lack of understanding by Conservatives that we don't need to jump into kneejerk reactions at US demand. Nor do we need to irritate their psychopath president unduly. The US doesn't operate on a basis of fairness, they only believe that their military might makes right. I think you have potential Dougie! -
Conservatives need to just let go of the Muslim hate and be happy that justice was served for Khadr. What's so difficult to understand about US illegal wars in foreign lands? What's wrong with the Conservative mindset that they wouldn't understand that Khadr's victim had it coming?

What could any Canadian have against Chinese people buying land in Canada. They're wonderful immigrants and usuallly excel in anything they do. And why would China want outsiders to buy land in China when they already have a billion and a half people. Does your objection have something to do with racial differences? -

What on earth are you trying to say Dougie? Jobs are defunct? They're a product of the 18th. century? Slow down and follow along with your finger, you seem to be terribly confused. Maybe a crash course on learning what socialism means would help. You could come to an understanding on how it differs from Capatalism. And how neither are practiced anywhere in the world in their true sense. How about this Dougie: The country that is trying to pracitce 19th. century greedy capitalism is the US. They don't seem to understand even the simple concept of universal health care for all the people, as opposed to for-profit health care that costs nearly twice as much per capita as Canada's. And it rated as not being as good! -
Are humans really responsible for climate change?
montgomery replied to Canuck100's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Conservatives don't believe in science and so they don't believe in manmade climate change either. They're mostly Xtians who are still stuck in the 16th. centrury, hedging their bets that the earth really isn't anymore than 10K years old. But their their lowlife expert naysayers are at best, just Conservative politicians who represent big business and say to hell with the future of mankind on this earth. Profit is always going to much more important to Cons than people!. How sick! -

montgomery replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Most Conservative actually 'do' loathe democracy. A fascist dictatorship would be much more to their liking. Little Scheer would like to follow the example of the psychopath Trump, but none of the Cons have the heuvos to admit it. -

montgomery replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
How surprising to hear that from a Canadian Dougie! Most Canadians are usually bragging about Canada being the best country in the world in which to live. Are you a Canadian Dougie? And if you are then are your feelings against Canada just sour grapes because our government opposes the fascist, extreme right gongshow in the US right now? What is it really that you hate about Canada? Are we too colour blind in our attitudes toward people who aren't pure white and English speaking? -

And so now I loathe Democracy! You really just can't grasp the concept of personal attacks being against the rules. -

Simply correct! And nearly sane person gets it! We sure don't need any Conservative madmen running around with the notion the US can win a nuclear war! I sure do hope the idea didn't come out of Scheer and his accomplices. -

Canuck says: Per se, they all are fundamental prerequistes of capitalism that includes social responsibility. I've just finished telling you that no pure capitalism or socialism exists in any modern successful country of the world. Otherwise, your lengthy harangue on your understanding of capitalism vs. mine, makes no points worth acknowledging. Aside from you bad behaviour when you told me I can get my commie ass, which of course has been reported. If you wish to make a point in a polite way then please do. I will tell you though that I'm a ten year veteran of the now defunct SupplySide Forum and I've heard it all. You may want to address me with that degree of sophistication on economics in mind. Or in other words, What's your point? -

That's the sort of mindset I really worry about Dougie. It's a not very well hidden notion that the US could win a nuclear war! You'll have to excuse me from pursuing this any further with you if you're going to talk like that. Good grief folks, has Conservative mindset gone that far over the edge already? -

40 US phony wars of aggression! It needs to be repeated over and over again until it sinks into the hearts and minds of Americans. And I'm not the least bit interested in hearing any of your apologies for that country. They all pale completely as compared to the SLAUGHTER perped by the US since WW2. China's aggression in the South China Sea?? Tiannamen Square?? Are you serious? I'm talking about the slaughter of millions, approaching the crimes of the Nazis! Time to get real and wear the shoe if it fits.! That has nothing to do with China or Russia, that's all about the good ol u s of a. . -

montgomery replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Perhaps it will differ from mine. It's a huge topic that can be explained in a few words. My best advice I can give to you is to examine the capitalist systems of the happiest countries of the world, then compare that with the mess that is the US now. Then get back to me. You seem to believe we differ on what makes 'socially responsible capitalism'. If that's your belief then why not point out some of the points on which you think we may differ? Universal Health Care? Social Welfare? Unemployment insurance? Condemnation of racism? Lowing taxes on only the wealthy? Racism? Fascism?, or other priorities of the Conservative mind? I've done my best to prompt you and other Conservatives. -

montgomery replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Settle down a bit. Hateful rants are over the top for me. To begin with, corporations and unions are both a part of the free enterpise system to which we Canadians subscribe. Neither can be eliminated and especially not unions. They're part of capitalism and to suggest that unions should be eliminated is shades of fascism. It's one of my biggest criticisms of the Cons and their agenda of trodding on ordinary Canadians in order to fill the needs of the greedy 1%. -

It should be crystal clear to all! I'm anti-US because that country is running roughshod over so many countries of the world, with the plan of comlete global domination. And the huge danger in it doing that is in the fact that we are a nuclear armed world and the other superpowers will not tolerate it. Trump, the leader of that pariah nation, is an evil psychopath and psychos don't understand that they can't win all of the time. Read up on corporate psychopaths; I have and I know that they can't ever allow themselves to lose. You need to start paying attention to what he is and what he's trying to do Dougie. Stay away from your continuing personal attacks against me and maybe we can start to discuss the issue. Nuff said for now. -

montgomery replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It's all about social responsibility in government Dougie. It's nothing even close to US style greedy capitalism, but it's definitely capitalism. You may not understand that the happiest countries in the world, or which Canada is one of the top ten, practice socially responsible capitalism. We must not allow the Cons to interfere with that social status, even though their ambitions are to cause inc ome inequality that would rival the cluster.... that is the US currently under Trump. There is no such thing as pure capitalism or even pure socialism in the world today. All successful governments are a workable mix of the two. That's the message we must get across to Scheer and his band of fascit accomplices. Let's get the conversation around to that basic principle Dougie. By doing that we will begin to dispense with the extreme rightist hating that is so evident on this forum. -

And yet another personal attack against me. It's either going to be allowed to continue or it needs to be corrected now.
