Let's stick to the topic and not avoid the real issue. Our wellbeing under the Trudeau government is most important. The Conservative tactic is strictly political and has little to do with the welfare of Canadians. The Conservative tactic is: Never be happy with how the Liberals look after our infrastructure. If the Liberals spend more then they will condemnt Trudeau for spending and increasing taxes. If the Liberals spend less then the Cons will condemn Trudeau for letting the infrastructure decay. The Conservative agenda is all about getting back into power so they can enrich wealthy Canadians and impoverish the ordinary people. The Con dream is a carbon copy of what America already has and is getting shoved down their throats with Trump. In truth, we could trade off Alberta for California and everybody concerned would be much more politically content. (tongue in cheek but you get the picture.) And way of the future for Canada is socially responsible government, not something that resembles the extreme rightist mess the US has become. You need to listen to Chris Hedges, an American who understands that his country is heading for disaster. Not Trump, who may be your idol, but who is seen by the rest of the world as a crazy psychopath.

Then there's our and the world's health care system that half of Americans say is communism. Then there are Canada's social programs that look after the people, which is much more similar to the Scandinavian example than anything Americans. Then there is the example of the psychopath they elected for their president, Then there is the racism that is proudly owned by the teabaggers and most of the Trump Republicans. Then there are the US's 40 wars of aggression since WW2. Then there is what they did to Iraq that was based on lies and false pretenses, which was refused for Canada by Chretien. And I could go on and on comparing even the best of them as being right of Canadians politically, which represents warmongering and lack of social responsibility. But why should I go on with more when it's very obvious to decent Canadians who watch the hate spectacle that Americans, right and left have for each other. And let's not forget their guns and the slaughter of their school children in the name of their 2nd. amendment. And you try to suggest that Canadians have nothing to teach those savages south of our southern border?? Shame on you if you're a Canadian. And if you're an American then you likely won't understand. Canada is much more like the happiest countries in the world, which are mostly the Scandinavian countries, and they're all socially responsible capitalist countries. The Conservative party wants very badly to change that! There's lots of money to be made off the backs of ordinary Canadians. Tell us about the real ideals of the Conservative party!

Yeah, been that way since the first white man stepped ashore in the 14th. century. Now the numbers speak loudly to reveal American lies. While Canada with a tenth the population rescues the migrants that Americans hate. That would be the ones with a little colour in their skins or the ones that don't believe in the Kristyun sky fairy. What's to be expected from a country ruled by a psychopath as president and in which half believe the earth is about 6000 years old? Should we doubt you Americans just a little bit? LOL

I know all about how conservatism works. They appeal to the lowest in people. They don't understand rehabilitation in our prison system. They want revenge. They don't understand how universal health care needs to work, they want a two tiered system to give a leg up to the wealthy. They don't want equitable taxation, they want something like Supply side economics which is supposed to work by lowering the taxes of the wealthy. And in general, cons don't want anything good for the people of Canada that would resemble the happiest countries in the world. (find out who they are if you care) Cons want something similar to the US gongshow.

If you want some answers on what to do then talk to some experts on the questions. They never refrain from giving good advice. China is doing a miraculous job with an extremely difficult situation, but has managed to lift millions more out of poverty than any other country has ever done. But about the answers? You don't want to hear any answers do you. You would rather throw your hands in the air and proclaim the fight to be lost. Is there a lot of money in it for you? You'll find most Canadians different from Americans who have turned to extreme right fascism and neo-Nazism under Trump. The FBI/Mueller is much too slow taking the psychopath president down.

Trudeau is being exactly as strong as he should be, especially on the NAFTA fight with the US's fascist Trump regime. It's the Conservatives who are ready to sell the farm for quick profit. And Trudeau knows that Canada must quickly diversify away from the US and expand our trade horizons before the US finds more reasons to blackmail our country. All Conservatives are basically the same and Scheer is quite similar to Trump. Neither represent socially responsible government, they both promote fascism and far right extremist. Of which, the socially responsible Scandinavian countries have proven to be very wrong now. Not to mention that the Cons will quickly align with the Fraser Institute if elected and again attempt to destroy our health care system. Rightists don't believe in universal health care for all the people, they prefer to make a profit off of people's lives and wellbeing. If you're an American stick around. We Canadians can teach you a lot about caring and social responsibilities.

No, they're not coming apart at the seams. They're experiencing some problems which can be expected. You see I'm not a bigot or a racist so I can see the good in helping out people that need help, mostly because the US has caused huge migration problems and they are not helping. Did you know that the US has started nearly 40 wars of aggression since WW2 alone? Canadians back our Liberal government in wanting to help. Conservatives in the US are falling for the same old trick Hitler used against the Jews to turn the German people against them, and that was to fix all their problems. In the US Trump is using the same tactic with migrants and it's hugely successful in bringing the people together because half of that country were already closet racists anyway. It's extreme rightist tactics! It's fascism! And Canada's Conservatives are more than willing to try it in Canada too. Stop the migrants right? Especially the Muslim ones, right?

Denial is easy for them and I would suggest that they don't look at ACC or AGW with eyes of any sort. They just irresponsibly allow their knees to jerk at denial. The very sad thing about it is that there are far too many like them and they have likely gotten their way with their denial. We're not doing enough and that's because the almighty dollar in their pockets today is their god. At least there's some little satisfaction in embarrassing some of them

We don't have to abandon Christmas but we need to slowly start to draw away from the religious superstitious aspects it represents. And most important, we must be vigilant against allowing children's heads full of superstitious beliefs before those children are old enough to make their own decisions. Let's all face it folks, creationism has become 'pretend play' now in this 21st. century, and so is all the nonsense that goes with it. But I suppose that Santa and Easter bunny are quite harmless as long as they aren't directly connected to superstitious beliefs. Just harmless sky fairies like Peter Pan and the rest of them.

And so what is the UN agreement about for Trudeau or for anyone?? Maybe the best answer for your comment is to say that Obama may be viewed by Canadians to be the best they ever had in that sick country. We could perhaps stand Obama and Trudeau together for a picture of decency in political leaders, then stand their current psychopath president and Scheer together for a taste of the extreme rightist government the Cons have planned for Canada! Oh, and throw in Harper too and he will take care of selling out our NAFTA negotiators for us!

You raise a good point, investigate ourselves. But when we do we find over 90% of the experts telling us that Anthropogenic climate change is very real and threatening humanity. Then we look for an opposite POV and all we find is biased pseudo-experts paid by big oil to say it isn't. So what do we do now? Do you suggest we just accept the word of big oil fat cats with money in the game. How has your research gone so far, following your own advice? Mine just continues to lead me into accepting AGW more and more. So let's move on and hear what you've found to be the truth, and from what oil company you heard it? Or does a denier actually exist who can be said to be an expert who hasn't learned his/her trade in oil school?

Our guy only needs to stand beside the extreme right psychopath the US has elected as their president to see the contrast! Don't mistake socially responsibility in government with Marxism. Many have tried to make it into the same thing but now we have the happiest countries in the world, the socially responsible Scandinavian countries, showing how to move forward for their people. As compared to the disaster the US, land of the gun has become.

The Liberals are doing a fine job of keeping taxes under control and the infrastructure in acceptable shape. Far better than the infrastructure in the US! Anybody who wants to see the comparison between the US's greedy far right capitalism and our socially responsible Liberal capitalism need only travel on their roads for a short time. If you go take a couple of spare tires! OH, and body armour to protect you from all the lead bullets in the air! Conservatives can never accept a happy medium for Canada. If it's not trying to destroy our health care system, in cahoots with the Fraser Institute, then it's asking for lower taxes while promoting ideas of spending more on the infrastructure. Give the Conservatives another chance and they be following Trump's lead for our country too.
