Are humans really responsible for climate change?
montgomery replied to Canuck100's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Attack my opinions as much as you want but don't attack me by suggesting that I need to wake up. Nuff said for now. If you're a Con supporter then you simply need to declare whether or not you belive in manmade climate change. The Con party can't continue to pretend to be onside with the scientific community while at the same time taking cheap shots at Trudeau for being a believer. It's just not going to be tolerated any longer! Yes, Trump is a true conservative, fascist, rightwing mad psychopath, and I would suggest that Scheer is exactly the same and will show it when he gets his courage up. That is, if he ever does become honest with his opinion on manmade climate change? -

Should Canada suspend relations with China?
montgomery replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
There's little doubt that your 'good ol USA' is preferable to millions of pepole living in countries where US bombs are raining down on them daily and continuously. If only the US would accept their responsibility to accept the refugee crises which they have created. I find it totally outrageous that any Canadian could still support their evil regime! The criminal Trump regime and Trump in person has been gleefully been accepted by 90% of that country's conservative rigfhties. They own the evil that is Trump and there's no escaping that fact. Let it be a warning to decent Canadians on what conservatism represents. Trump, the corporate psychopath has brought the real conservative agenda out of the closets and it isn't pretty. Is that what your CPC friends want for Canada?? Trudeau may be too pretty and too manly for you but he'll never be able to descend to the level of bad government that is now on display in the land of the gun. That my friend is sadly the model the Scheer gang of tyrants want to copy! Shame! -
I haven't the slightest idea what you're on about. All I know is that the US has started 40 criminal wars of aggression since WW2 alone and the other superpowers have started next to none, or none. My preference is that Canada now align itself with the BRICS, on the side of peace. If you don't know what the Brics is then just ask. Otherwise, unless you have any point to make, we're finished for now. I'm very interested in addressing your misunderstandings and misconception on the Ukraine and the provocations for war against Russia by the US. It disgusts me nearly as much as the US intervention and provocations in Syria which has caused the deaths of so many millions of the Syrian people.

Infrastructure, a key Liberal promise, is a mess

I'm quite happy to read and entertain your spelling and grammar errors that cause your posts to be almot unreadalbe, but I'm not prepared to listen to the personal attacks against me. And I will also caution you to not resort to your profanity. If you persist with what I see as bad behaviour then I will have no choice but to report you. If any of that contained any points that you consider are worthy of a response then please restate them in an appropriate way. For example, means nothing to any decent Canadian. You may need to be reminded that you're not talking down to a victim in some foreign country now, when you address me. -

Are humans really responsible for climate change?
montgomery replied to Canuck100's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yes, they're winning but the Cons still need to be exposed for the dishonest posers they are when they pretend to be on board with manmade climate changes. We need to poll them individually and get the denial out of them. They know that the Con party can't take an honourable position and so they waffle. Thankfully, in the US, Conseravtism and rightist policy is being exposed for the hateful filth it really is. In that sense Trump could be a blessing! -

Saudi Arabia expells Canadian ambassador
montgomery replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Trudeau's positioning of Canada as concerns the US is the most appropriate it has ever been, considering that the US has attempted to blackmail Canada many times now on NAFTA interactions. Of which, Canada has always come out on the winning side. Withdrawing from all trade relations with the US would be the best thing to do. But doing it at a measured pace as is Trudeau's plan is smart because the US may come to pay attention to the error in their ways. And also, the mad psychopath Trump, can't be their president much longer. Surely the FBI/Mueller will take him down soon, before he completely destroys that country. -
The word 'perfect' shouldn't ever be mentioned in any discussion on the US. The only way the US is exceptional anymore is in it being exceptionally aggressive in starting 40 wars of aggression since WW2 alone! We decent Canadians can't continue to ignore that and the fact that we've become aligned with the bad guys. Unfortunately some Canadians have relatives and friends in that country but if we're going to be Canadians first then we need to deal with the problem in a responsible way. I would suggest not visiting that country and practicing 'tough love' toward them by informing friends and relatives in that country that we must now rise above their continuous wars and killing of people in foreign lands. When the next terrorist attack against the US comes, in revenge for US crimes abroad, Canada must not have been complicit in those crimes if we expect to avoid that revenge. Thank Chretien and the Liberal party for not allowing Canada to be a part of their phony Iraq war that was based on lies. Thank the dogs that the Con party didn't get it's way. Trudeau needs to keep it that way! There's nothing pointless about condemning US wars of aggression! There's a great deal of evil in supporting it by being complicit in it!

Should Canada suspend relations with China?
montgomery replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
We must very quickly diversify away from everything to do with the US. It has become a criminal regime being run by a madman psychopath and our cooperation with such just tarnishes Canada's reputation as a peaceful country. (with the exception of our participation in Nato) China represents peace and legitimate trade relations for Canada. And if the Con party of Canada ever supposes that it can represent the Canadian people, then it has to be a part of our pulling away from the US. The entire world is aligning on two sides, the US and it's accomplices vs. the BRICS. Canada is aligned with 'the bad guys' on the block and we need to re-evaluate our loyalties. The BRICS is the non-aggressive side and the side that is much more compatible with Canadians' priorities. Or at the very least, we must not continue to be a part of US/Nato aggression against the small countries of the world! -
I made a comment yesterday that needs to be corrected. I meant to say: Why, did Harper even try to undercut our Canadian NAFTA negotiating team? It seems that the US and it's completely off the wall neo-Nazi tactics appeal to the likes of Harper more than him being a Canadian? And there's little doubt that the Con party won't be questioning his disrespectful behaviour. The Con party has always been ready to sell our country out to blackmail attempts by the criminals south of our border.

You are once again attacking me and not my opinions. Please stop it right now! If you have a rebuttal to something I've said then please address it in an appropriate way. -
You have no right to attack me personally and you have been warned to not escalate that sort of behaviour. Your comment to me: Isn't an attack or challenge to my opinions, it's an attack against me. And as I've already told you, I don't find it egregious enough to bother to report this time. We're going to find a lot to disagree about between us so let's just try to stick to doing that.

Should Canada suspend relations with China?
montgomery replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
We must absolutely not withdraw from our relationship with China! Our very best position are regards China is exactly the way Trudeau is handling it. We must very quickly withdraw our trade relations with the US and diversify toward China's markets. If we don't then we will be subjected to more US blackmail that has been going on ever since we became a part of NAFTA. And furthermore, the US is the pariah nation that is totally concerned with more wars of aggression against more small countries. As you can witness with the US's 40 wars of aggression since WW2 alone! China is a rapidly developing country that has rescued many millions of it's people up out of poverty. China may have not advanced to our Western standard of human rights, but they can't be accused of the wars of aggression the US is guilty of, or the many millions of victims of US wars. How ridiculous to suggest that we withdraw from trade relations with China as at the same time to trade so heavily with the criminal US aggressor! What on earth could you have been thinking? Could this just be another opportunity to bash on Trudeau? -

A lot of mumbo-jumbo nonsense to deal with in that one post but I'll comment on one particualr mistake you made out of courtesy. Assad didn't gas his own people. All the gassing has been done by the terrorists, Assad no longer has chem/bio weapons similar to the US's huge chem/bio arsenal, and hasn't since the agreement to dispose of them. And now that Russia has succeeded in bringing peace to Syria, even the terrorists aren't going to get away with using chem/bio weapons on the Syrian people. Further to that, I'll warn you now to be very careful on how you go about bad mouthing Muslims in particular. Please refer to individuals when making accusations. Islam is a religion of peace and is not responsible for revenge attacks on the West. Individual terrorists are, be they Muslims or Christians or any other sky fairy believers. -

Princess Glitterfarts? Donkey? I wouldn't admit to being a terrorist supporter? The first two are below my dignity to answer and the second is an accusation against me of being a terrorist. It will be reported. -
Are humans really responsible for climate change?
montgomery replied to Canuck100's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Conservatives don't believe in manmade climate change and so they have to own their denial position. We must not allow the CPC to escape responsibility on this major issue. The title of this thread: "Are Humans really responsible for climate change?" Well, of course humans are. But the Conservatives want to ask the question again and again to keep the debate alive. Conservatives and their party don't believe in manmade climate change obviously, but they don't think they can get away with saying it directly. So this is the method on which they rely. A little honesty out of Conservatives is what's called for here. If you don't believe in manmade climate change then say so and be prepared to stand behind your opinion. Where are your experts who back your negative opinion? That's the challenge to the CPC and their supporters. We can't have a debate in which some believe in manmade climate change and the rest just pretend to believe in it. We need some naysayers! We're being victimized by Conservative tactics. It's familiar because they work the same tactic with our health care system. And it's so similar because Cons know very well that they can't be honest and attack our system directly. They'll have the Fraser Institute do it on their behalf. Who is denyinng climate change on their behalf. So let's hear from the deniers! -

Ask the Cons to build your limited access road the next time they're in power. They're more liable to stop all maintenance on what we already have. Which incidentally is quite fine the way it is. We may need something that will hadle higher volume after we allow ten million or so Chinese people into Canada! Far better than inviting lazy whiteys! -

montgomery replied to bush_cheney2004's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
That's really dumb to think the Cons wouldn't have raised hell if Justin refused the US and didn't arrest her. Sometimes 'you' people are just too obvious. If he doesn't suck up to the US, the Cons would be going out of their minds with accusations of him being a Putin lover or something just as ridiculous. Our government needs to diversify away from the US as quickly as possible. It's time for Justin to start to really suck up to China and leave the US and their cheap Trump blackmail tactics for them to stew in to teach the US a lesson. Q. what would the Cons do? A. whatever puts the most money in big business's pockets the quickest. -

montgomery replied to bush_cheney2004's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
That's all basically a racist rant and ethnic slur against people of the ME. What can one say about that kind of behaviour? So you hate Muslims, so you're a Conservative. Obama saved Assad. He signed on with Putin to make a deal with Assad to get rid of his chem/bio weapons. Obama surely must have seen the same ploy developing as the US used to get their phony war on Iraq. Claim Assad had the WMD's/chem-bio weapons and then have the world sign onto another US led war on that trumped up cause. So Obama and Putin and Assad agreed and bingo, the excuse for the US planned war evaporated. Now Russia/Putin is in Syria by invitation, peace has come to Syria, the Zionists are going crazy with blood lust, the US doesn't get a war, and Russia isn't leaving. If you're a grownup I would be happy to tell you more. But I will say that I'm on the side of Assad and Putin and peace in Syria, just so you'll know! What side are you on? The US and the biggest arsenal in the world of WMD's and chem/bio weapons, and war with Syria and then Iran? It's people like you that make me so glad that we have countries other than the US with nuclear weapons. It gives us M.A.D. which has saved the world from the US's use of nuclear weapons on the world again. -

Yes, I'm comparing Trump to Hitler but the way in whch I made the comparison was too complicated for you and went right over your head. Try to understand what I said and then bring it up again if you like. And I'll go one better too! I compare the US with it's 40 wars of aggression since WW2 as the closest to any regime since that war. The tens of millions the US has slaughtered throughout the world since WW2 is unequalled. If not for Russia/Putin they would be slaughtering people in Iran as we speak. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah, Blah, blah, blah. etc. I dint suggest that our health care system is in perfect working order. And I think you're making up your bad experience too. If you want to whine about it go ahead. I did make a comparison between the US system and ours. Ours is rated quite a bit higher and theirs is the worst of all the modern first world countries. Surely Shirley, you're not trying to say something good about that cluster----? If you're really in the army I hope you aren't doing this on the public's dime.
