So why would a French person abandon their own nation, culture and traditions to save Canada? I couldn't imagine being a white person in Norway, which is over 90% white, and moving to a multicultural failed state like Canada, if I really cared about preserving Norwegian culture. To be fair to the oil nuts, oil has an expiration date, the number of electric cars and hybrds is rising everyday, in 2 decades, oil will fall in value because there won't be that many oil driven vehicles as there are now. Then when you add on the carbon tax and higher gas prices, gas vehicles will be even more expensive. So I'd say Alberta sees a window to export their filth. The irony is, if they can export it via BC, gas prices in the rest of canada will increase, not decrease. He is because he has a pattern of making dumb gaffs, that is why he lost to perennial candidate Jon Tory. If Ford can avoid the media to election day, they might not catch him making a dumb enough comment or stepping on his dack. If he can do that, he might just win a minority government. It is a risk though, because if the media doesn't cover him, people will forget he is in the race, they cannot vote for someone whose policies are unknown and people will re-elect Wynne. Think of what it means to not even have a platform, he will be defenseless against liberal attacks.

I'd guess Ford minority government, Liberals haven't even started campaigning yet, Ford made the blunder of not having a media bus, so his smart comments will not be broadcasted, while Wynne will be on 6 and 11 pm news every night campaigning and at the African Canadian debate which Ford refuses to participate in. Ford will slowly lose support, NDP voters will shift to liberal for fear of conservative majority and Ford will predictably say something stupid in public when or if he releases a platform. The liberals tend to surge from behind in these electiions and Conservatives fall apart. I am sure the liberals have at least 1 week of scandals to release on Ford.

We have less than 100k illegals which is not that bad. It would be better to just legalize any illegal who gets here, cheaper to. Honestly, it is very difficult for a conservative politicians to compete provincially in Canada because of how the government is structured. Liberals and NDP are socialist and progressive so can always role out a new goodie if they are down in the polls. The conservatives are a one trick pony they have round in the chamber of tax cuts, and if they fire it, they blow up their claim of being fiscally responsible and not having deficit (no conservative government in Ontario has not run a deficit as far as I can remember back to the Harris-Eve days). So at the end of the day the left can offer -free dental -free university/college -free medical -free prescriptions -free child care -and more free services. The conservatives provincial cannot compete. At least federally they can lower your taxes to some degree or give you tax credits. Our provincial taxes are just 13%, so not much to cut there. A 5% tax cut is still not very much to an individual.

Every party in Canada runs insane deficits, and the conservatives run the largest deficits ie Harris and Eves. Removing rent controls will sky rocket rents.

People who provide social services are Canadians so they make money off of immigrants. People in construction get jobs off of immigrants who require new infrastructure. Environmentalist and builders make money off of immigrants who need more housing. Immigration is a scam but it is the immigrants paying for everything getting fleeced. I lived in Sweden for a few years, and I had to constantly shell out money as an "immigrant", everything from hotels, to finding a room to buying furniture, bedding, etc. I'd wager people in Canada care more about environment than people in China or Arabia who don't even care about people. At least we have the chance to change their view if the immigrant is here. I am saying if a person gets citizenship in Canada, lives abroad for 20 years, they shouldn't just be able to come in and suck up social services here as if they were paying taxes here all along unless they want to start paying a global income tax. Well the PM has not supported Dutton on it, and Dutton is generally viewed by most Australians as a racist buffoon who will likely succeed the current prime minister and quickly be voted out.
