The evidence is all around us that the complex, intricate universe required a divine Creator to design and create it, as recorded in Genesis of the Bible. Yet we are told by much of the secular world that the theory of evolution and the big bang theory are facts. This is fed to our youth in the public school system and is taken as unquestionable fact. When we look at the complexity of the universe, consider the atomic particles, and the laws of physics that govern their motion and actions, it is clear that it required an infinitely powerful Creator to design and create it. We are told it is all a cosmic accident that just happened out of the blue. Somehow it seems that people like Richard Dawkins, the famous atheist who wrote the God Delusion, missed some very basic evidence for a Creator. Simple physics like gravity, the very existence of electrons, neutrons, protons, and their iron-clad laws that control them cannot be explained apart from an infinitely powerful Designer/Creator of the universe. We are told that mankind somehow evolved out of the slime in a pond. Yet man and all the creatures contain infinitely complex chromosomes that determine characteristics of the living creature. We are told this was all an accident or evolved somehow. It takes far more blind acceptance of an irrational theory that has no evidence, and no basis to believe it. Supposedly it all just happened by some kind of cosmic accident. In order to accept the theory of evolution and the big bang theory (which incidentally still does not explain where it all came from or how it started), one has to set their reasoning aside. As for the Big Bang theory, an explosion always creates disorder, not order. The universe is orderly. One would have to accept that such things as love of humans for their family, children, pets, etc. is all just a chemical reaction. Another thing to consider is all the good and evil in the world. If there is no God, then there is no meaning in life and there is no justice for all the evil. The existence of the world has to point to an ultimate accounting or justice. Otherwise it is a free-for-all of everyone just taking whatever they can get for themselves out of the world and no consequences for evil. This is not rational. There just has to be a Creator God who is infinitely powerful who will hold everyone accountable. This is the only rational way that anything makes sense. It is completely irrational to believe in the atheist idea.

What we are dealing with from those who want to abolish the Constitutional Monarchy is the cancel culture crowd or the illiterate who have been brainwashed with Marxism. They don't understand how the real world works but want to tear down our history and institutions but have no idea what would replace them. Same crowd that tear down statues of Sir John A Macdonald and deface the statue of the Queen in Victoria. We can thank our hopeless public school system which no longer teaches loyalty to our institutions but now teaches progressivism and Marxist ideas. Canada is full of Marxists of varying degrees. That should be obvious. Liberals and NDP are good examples of people with very little or no moral principles. When you have a national political party leader saying he thinks the Monarchy (Queen) is of no benefit to Canadians, you know you have a serious problem. This is an attack against our very democratic structure. You need to re-think your whole outlook.

A strong Constitutional Monarchy is the most stable and strongest system to survive in the history of the world. Looking back on history, we see how Kings and Queens united the people and protected them from invaders and helped them to grow in prosperity. This is how civilization developed and is the safest way. We have the best of both worlds. We have Monarchy which provides a central figure to unite the people while at the same time, it protects our democracy and institutions. God save the Queen.

You don't want a Constitutional Monarchy which protects us from being taken over by a would-be dictator. If you abolish the system we have, what would there be to stop a crocked PM from just abolishing our Parliamentary system and elections and setting himself up as dictator for life? You still haven't explained how abolishing the Monarchy would work in practice. Just something you want to do because you don't like privilege or authority. That's what Communists said and how did that work for them? Just a coincidence that both Russia and China have absolute dictators, Putin and Xi, that set themselves up to rule for life. Just happens there is no authority over them to stop them. A Constitutional Monarch provides that safeguard.

Russia assassinated their Tsar and his family and replaced it with a Communist-Leninist system. Then proceeded to kill millions of people and deny the rest their freedom. The will of the people I guess.

Getting rid of the Constitutional Monarchy could easily result in splitting Canada up into different countries. This is exactly what happened to India. Pakistan was formed on August 14th, 1947 and India got rid of the Monarchy on August 15th, 1947, one day later. The threat is becoming a republic could result in centralizing power in Ottawa far more than it already is and provinces losing what jurisdiction they have now. This would guarantee separation. The very country Jagmeet Singh or his parents came from split apart when they got rid of the Monarchy. Do you see the irony of this?

It's a good thing it is not easy to change because some changes could be disastrous for Canada, such as getting rid of the foundation of our democratic system. Ease of change sometimes is not a good thing. It creates instability and possibly anarchy. I suspect if such a change ever got legs, there would be some provinces opting out of Canada. It should be noted that Pakistan was created out of India on August 14th, 1947 one day before India became totally independent from Britain and discontinued the Monarchy on August 15th, 1947. Such a move can split a country apart.

You would still need a bureaucracy to replace the Governor General and Lieutenant Governors in each Province. They all have a staff and buildings. The GG has a staff of about 100 people and the Lietenant Governors have small numbers of staff. They all perform certain functions. You are obviously unaware of what the Queen's representatives do in Canada. You may be far worse off with dictators running Canada and no Constitutional Monarchy to prevent it. A cup of coffee once a year is a small price to pay for democracy. We all waste far more money than that. There is a reason why we sang "God Save the Queen".

Another thing; it would be very difficult and practically impossible to abolish or change the Constitutional Monarchy because it would require a major Constitutional change which would mean probably a referendum and it would require all ten provinces to agree which is unlikely to ever happen. Any change to a republic would have to show what the new system would look like and likely would be rejected by provinces. It would also require long negotiations with aboriginals which have a special relationship with the Queen through their treaties. They would likely not agree to a change.

What immigration from the third world does is help the Liberals get re-elected. That's why they want to bring in a million immigrants over three years. They've been in power most of Canada's history and this is probably one reason why.

So why would the PM hold any more elections then? If there were no head-of-state above him, he would be supreme ruler; he could refuse to hold elections and could just dissolve Parliament and that would be the end of it. Anybody who opposed him, he could just have them arrested and thrown in prison. I could never figure out the logic of these people who would make a PM the head of state.

I would have to write a book to reply all the erroneous ideas you wrote, but I can't do that. You don't believe in the God of the Bible, but likely have no explanation for how or where our complex universe came from. The truth is according to the inspired Bible that it was designed and created by a Divine Creator. The first sentence in the Bible says "1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1 KJB The second point is the Bible makes it clear that God created a large number of angels at some point in eternity past and a top-ranking angel called Lucifer, rebelled against God and fell from heaven taking a third of the angels with him. "Many are interested in the fall of Lucifer. The Bible says that the reason for Lucifer’s fall was his desire to exalt his throne above the stars of God, and be like God. Isaiah 14:1 3 -14 (KJV) "13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? " Isaiah 14:13-17 KJB Thirdly, after God created Adam and Eve, he placed them in paradise in the garden of Eden and told them they could eat any fruit but not the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Because they were the head of the human race, their fall was passed on all their descendants. This means all are born with a fallen, sinful nature and the human heart is evil or corrupt. This combined with the fall of Lucifer has created a fallen corrupt world. This is why we have all the evil in the world. This will mean all men will be condemned unless they are redeemed by faith in Jesus Christ. God send his Son to die and atone for the sins of men but everyone must make the choice whether they will accept this redemption, forgiveness, and eternal salvation. If they don't accept it, there is only one alternative, that is, a lost eternity in hell. That is it in a nutshell, but if you study the Bible you will find this out. So all the debate about political systems is minor or insignificant compared to one's eternal destiny. God gave the right to private property to men in the Bible and said "thou shalt not steal". So political systems which confiscate private property without sufficient justification are going against God's commandment. But as I said, Satan has been given a certain amount of time and space to influence and control in this world. People choose whom they follow.

Does Canada really want to get rid of the Constitutional Monarchy and replace it with ? Would we really rather be a banana republic with a series of dictators seizing power and imposing their idea on Canadians? We see how that works in places like Cuba, N. Korea, China, south America, Central America, and lately Myannmar, where the military is shooting protesters. Our system might not be perfect but no country has a perfect system because this is an imperfect world. But it is far better than the rest of the world. We need to be content with such things as we have or we could easily lose it all.

Typical of Marxists to dislike royalty and the monarchy and want to get rid of them. Canada's Constitutional Monarchy is not oppressive and long ago gave up it's power to Parliamentary democracy. It's only function now is to protect the parliamentary system from being taken over by a dictator, such as Marxists and therefore it provides a valuable purpose.

It costs Canada very little to have the Queen as our head of state. The benefits far outweigh any small cost. We waste far more money, actually over a hundred million a year on the unelected Senate. I would favour not paying retired governor generals an unlimited expense account.

Since he swore an oath of allegiance to the monarchy, I think it was wrong for him to denigrate it by saying it doesn't benefit Canadians. Freedom of speech does not include the right to revolutionary comments or opposing the system particularly when he has a special position as an MP and leader of a political party being interviewed on mainstream media. What is the use of MPs or others taking the Oath of Allegiance if it is not going to be upheld or mean anything? Yes, I think we are bound to show a certain degree of loyalty to the Constitutional Monarchy and the Queen. This is why school kids once sang God Save the Queen in schools. Nowadays, kids are taught to be disrespectful to traditional values. This will have dire consequences for a nation. Apparently it was not necessary for every province to agree to the Constitution for it to become valid. It appears no province has a veto to it.

No institution is perfect and no human being is perfect and we all make mistakes. If a member of the family makes a bad decision or says some appalling thing, we don't give them capital punishment or kick them out of the family. The institution of the Constitutional Monarchy is still doing the job for Canada that is was meant to do and we don't destroy a good thing. Canada's parliamentary system and Constitutional Monarchy, via the Governor General is unaffected by this present problem involving Harry, Meghan, and Archie. That situation may be resolvable to a large extent. We have nothing to replace the Constitutional Monarchy with that would be as valuable and as indispensable in ensuring the continuation of our Parliament democracy as we know it.

If so, is he now breaking his oath when he said on main stream media today that the monarchy does not benefit Canadians? When he said the Communist revolution in Cuba lifted the Cuban people up, did he know the Communist revolution in Cuba killed tens of thousands of people, imprisoned thousands of others, confiscated private property, and deprived the people of their freedom? This guy is a follower of a false religion and apparently a Marxist sympathizer who was given a platform he can now use to attack our democratic Constitutional monarchy system that has given more freedom and human rights than most other countries in the world. As a Canadian educated lawyer, was he not taught the purpose and function of our Constitutional Monarchy? Apparently not. Otherwise he would know that the system works to prevent a would-be dictator from seizing power and establishing a totalitarian state. Having the Queen as Canada's Queen and a GG acting on her behalf means if a rogue PM tried to abolish the system, the Armed Forces, who swear allegiance to the Queen, could arrest the would-be dictator and prevent a takeover. The continued allegiance of a large swath of the population, the RCMP, and the Armed Forces ensures a dictator can not easily seize power and abolish our democratic system. Can this guy be trusted? It's all still dependent on how the provinces roll out the vaccine distribution. Some provinces have been stumbling in the rollout and still need to make big improvements. B.C. received over a million calls for appointments today and only booked about 10 or 15 thousand people. If the provinces don't distribute the thousands of doses of vaccine properly, thousands of doses could go out of date and many people not get vaccinated when they should. That's not going to cut it. You may wonder how this can be but you may be looking at it from human standards, not God's standard. Since the fall of the first parents, Adam and Eve, all descendants inherited a fallen, depraved nature in God's eyes. So unless a person has been redeemed, there is no forgiveness or salvation. This has to do with the justice of God which is absolute and perfection. You will see that being a sinner is only part of the reason why people go to hell. I hear many people in the world speak of sinners and the people who do really evil things to other people as deserving to be in hell. It seems that the worst the crime and the more innocent people are hurt or killed, the more deserving that people say they are for going to hell. You can think of people like Hitler, Stalin and others who have killed men, women and children in wholesale lots and certainly they “deserve” to go to hell. However, we are all guilty of comparing our sins to other people’s sins and thinking that ours are not bad enough to warrant such a punishment as hell. I had a reader ask me a question about “Do people go to hell or heaven after they die and why”? If you have read the first lesson then you should already know that the Bible clearly tells us that Hell exists and people go there. So the question arises, why? This is certainly a legitimate question to ask God. We will discover that God has already answered the question in the Bible. What I want to do first is tell you what is NOT a factor in why people go to Hell. It is not because you have sinned! Being a sinner does NOT send you to hell! However, it does not get you into heaven either. Sin is virtually a non-factor in the process of do people go to heaven or to hell. Yes, there are sinners in hell right now. But, yes there are also sinners in heaven right now. So committing a sin was not the determining factor for going to either place. You can clearly see that the Bible says “everyone” has sinned and failed to achieve to God’s standard of righteousness. If it says “ALL” that would leave no one out of the Sin Camp. That would include me and you also. A verse found in Romans 5:12 basically says the same thing. So we have two witnesses to the fact that everyone is a sinner. So now people like to say, my sin is not as great as their sin, so therefore they deserve punishment, but not me. Unfortunately for you God has already thought of this excuse defense and said the following: You can be the best sinner in the entire world and have committed the least number of wrong doings and yet God says if you fail in just one place, one point, violating just one rule, you are guilty of breaking them all. Wow! That is very strong! That also is not good news for being the best sinner either. That basically tells us that there are no sins that are greater than any other sins in the eyes of God. What do you do with that information? God makes it sound like a very ominous and hopeless situation that we are all in. I certainly agree with that assessment and I hope that you do to. So what have we learned? We have learned that there are no good people in the world who deserve to be saved. Everyone is technically guilty of violating the entire law of God and that will not work to get you into heaven based upon God’s standards. You see Islam and other religions in the world like to see things in a balanced scale system where you put your bad deeds on one side and your good works on another side and then see which one is greater and that determines where you go. Wouldn’t that be nice? However, this is not what God calls a system that will work to get you into heaven. Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Hopefully you can see what this verse is saying. Salvation or justification is not earned by doing good things. Obeying the law is doing a good thing, yes? But, God tells us that no flesh will be “justified” by doing the good things written in the Law! That basically tells me you cannot do anything to work yourself into this salvation. That means heaven is not guaranteed no matter how many good things you have done in your life. What we have discovered are two things that are not a factor in whether you go to heaven or to hell. It is not your sins and it is not you doing good things. That really shocks a lot of people who have been deceived into believing they can do something to affect their outcome and destiny. So what are the determining factors for being saved and going to heaven? I’d like to tell you it is just a simple a 1 + 1 = 2 problem, but that would be oversimplifying the situation. However, I will make it as simple as I can. It appears to me from reading and studying the Bible that people go to hell simply because they reject salvation and the savior Jesus Christ. Part of the problem comes from the fact that God’s idea of Salvation is not usually your idea of salvation and that is one of the biggest problems you face to getting saved. You see if you were simply presented a choice of believing in Jesus Christ and not believing in Jesus Christ and that is all the choices you had that would certainly make it much more of a simple process. However, there is an enemy in the world, a spiritual being called Satan, who works very hard at tricking you into believing lies. While God plays by the rules, Satan does not and has caused a vast number of people in the world to believe in his lies. So rejecting the savior Jesus Christ could be a simple acceptance of Buddhism as your belief system. Simply by buying into a false religion you could be missing out on heaven and eternal salvation. This is what Jesus says to us: Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Jesus is trying to get into your heart right now, if you have not let him in already. Jesus is standing and knocking and wants to come into your spiritual house. Did you ever think that if the omnipotent God wants in your heart, why doesn’t He just kick the door down and come in? Isn’t He still God? Doesn’t God always get His will done? Apparently not! You see God is a gentleman who abides within rules and self-imposed limitations. God will never force anyone to get saved. God will try to get your attention, but yet you have a responsibility to first hear Him knocking at your door and then to go open the door and let Him in. So what happens when Jesus comes and knocks and you refuse to hear it? What happens if you ignore Him? What happens if you do not open the door for Him? Believe it or not that is what causes you to go to hell. Here are some more words of Jesus on this subject. Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. So here is a little secret, Jesus is not going to come to your physical house and knock on your natural door to try to get you saved. Those were all symbolic references to a spiritual situation that will transpire in a way that you would probably not expect. You see Jesus is knocking right now at your heart, if you choose to hear Him. Did you notice what Jesus said in John 12:18? Jesus says that if you reject Him and His Word, it will be the Word that you heard and that you rejected that will judge you in the future. In other words the Word of God is God and if you reject it, you are rejecting God. That causes a lot of people to not find salvation. They do not know how God is speaking, when He is speaking, where He is speaking or even recognize what God is saying. God has purposely chosen to hide himself from your physical view, so that you can be an atheist if you want to be. However, God uses people like me to try to reach you and convince you that He is real. So I do not know everyone that is in hell right now. I do know how they were deceived. I do not know how many times they rejected the truth of God’s Word. I do not know how many times Jesus knocked and tried to come in. It could have been when they were just 5 or 6 years old. Maybe, it was when they were 12 or 13 years old. All I know is that Jesus said I tried to knock and they would not open the door and let me in. It could have been that they were preoccupied by the distractions of working, going to school, shopping or whatever else people do in the world. Why People Don’t Get Saved!” Many people think that God sends people to hell, but that is really not a true statement. The Bible says that Hell was made for Satan and his angels. God knowing that no man could do anything to earn salvation came to the earth in the flesh and gave His life for the payment of every man’s sin. So God by His grace reconciled man back into relationship and favor with Himself. But, yet God still gives man a choice in what they want to do. Then if we put Satan into the picture and see how he has deceived the world into believing his lies, that it the root of the problem of why salvation is not so easily obtainable. God freely offers salvation to everyone, but everyone is required accept it. To accept God is to accept His Words. To receive God’s Words is to allow God to come into your spirit and live. Always remember that Jesus is trying to knock at the door to your heart and get your attention, but the devil is trying to distract you with everything that he can put in front of you. What you decide to do will affect your eternal destiny. God has placed the ball in your court and it is your turn to move. God says now is the time for salvation, today is the appointed day for getting saved. So don’t delay and receive Him while you can. Very sad indeed that people would choose hell instead of heaven for eternity. I am sure this must grieve a loving God who prefers that all be saved. But everyone makes their own choices. It is not God's fault or choice that people condemn themselves for eternity. The Bible tells how God provides forgiveness through his Son and will save anyone, but if people reject it, what can one say? All men are born with a sinful, fallen nature and at enmity against God. "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God." Romans 8:7, 8 KJB. Except a person receive the gift of God's grace, he cannot be saved. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2: 8, 9 KJB In rejecting God's written revelation (the Bible), they are rejecting the gospel of salvation and the Savior who is the only one who can save them.
