Just because you happen to enjoy military parades doesn't mean someone who doesn't is ignorant. I understand you think Trump is as pure as the driven snow, but I suspect his motives for showing off tanks and missile launchers are as pure as you think.

A military parade does not showcase one man's ego, but is a display of power to those enemies who only understand the most primitive form of communication, in order to act as a deterrent. Better a parade than a war.

Jeez, I wouldn't have gone so far to say Harper was the Trump of Canada. He wasn't nearly that bad. Give me an Obama type any time. He can at least string a sentence together without a teleprompter, he actually did better on the economy than Trump has, and never bragged about molesting women. I suggest if you are wanting to catch Trudeau in a mishap, maybe look a little deeper than a town hall. Asses his policy's perhaps.

I've used the word mankind many times in discussions, written it in essays etc. I doubt that if I chose to change it to humankind, we would over a cliff. Calm down, you can still say mankind.
