    You forgot the great support he has from the black community, did you see the signs behind him at his rally today. Check out the signs that link to Gods2.com or blacksfortrump2020.com which redirect to the site honestfact.com, a crudely designed conspiracy theorist website clearly run by someone who is not mentally stable. “THE ISHMAELITES ARABS & EAST INDIANS ALWAYS HAD BLACK AMERICAN HEBREWS IN SLAVERY,” reads one post on the site. The website honestfact.com is owned by Michael Nicholson with a North Miami address. The site also shows videos of Nicholson endorsing Trump and singing the billionaire real estate mogul’s praises in interviews with local TV stations. It appears that Nicholson used to belong to the murderous gang known as “Yahweh Ben Yahweh,” and has a lengthy criminal record. New York Magazine reported last year about how Nicholson quickly became Republican primary candidates’ favorite black person, being spotted alongside former Rick Santorum and having the loud endorsement of Glenn Beck due to his extreme views about Barack Obama. In the early ‘90s, Nicholson and 15 other members of Yahweh ben Yahweh were charged with conspiring in two murders, and even though his own brother testified that Michael stabbed a man in the eye with a sharp stick, he was let off by a Florida jury. In the decades since, he’s become a novel figure in South Florida, racking up criminal charges but no convictions and running a radio show that features his rants on “Demon-crats.”

    At Donald Trump's rally in Florida this evening he presented this alternative fact: "You look at what's happening in Germany. You look at what's happening last night in Sweden ... Sweden ... who would believe this? Sweden, they took in large numbers, they are having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what's happening Brussels, you look at what's happening all over the world", while the real fact is that nothing happened in Sweden last night. This is just more of the alternative facts about crime soaring in Sweden in recent years, while the real facts in the Crime Survey shows that it has remained relatively flat over the past decade.

    Good question, perhaps you should ask taxme that introduced the topic. Who said this is about forcing people to do something? This is about recognizing there is a problem and figuring out what, if anything, can be done to try and address it. It is a motion to study the situation, it is not the solution. I don't know what specific wording you don't like in the motion, but you seem to be thinking it is a law or something. Agreed. I see this as one step towards that goal.

    Seems there are a lot of drug companies that made many false claims about their synthetic opioids, and ended up destroying many lives. They seem to have gotten away with it.

    How so? Regarding 'fictional people', you know that similar laws happen in the corporate world. I am not free to go out and make wild public claims against a corporate entity without something to back it up.

    I think there are ample separate accounts to corroborate the story that a man did live in that part of the world and did some of the the things as suggested in the Bible. That doesn`t mean that many of the stories are not embellished, just like many of Donald Trump`s "accomplishments" are embellished.

    Why would I do it? Just to inflame others? Note that if Jesus were alive today, and I did such a thing, I might find myself in civil court defending a defamation suit. While not a criminal offence, that doesn't mean I could get away without any consequences. Defamation is a concept understood under both common law (most of Canada), and the Civil Code in Quebec under section 1457.

    Were you stationed in Gagetown before your release, or were you in another province? Anyone who moves between provinces in Canada has the same 90-day wait in their new province. I haven't seen a complete breakdown, but I know several provinces will allow you to use your provincial insurance from another province and they will direct bill. The same applies to Canadians who are living abroad, when I returned I needed to find insurance (Blue cross) to cover the 90-day wait even though I had lived in Ontario before and was returning there. In fact I owned property in the province and was paying taxes on it. While I never let my provincial drivers license expire, the private insurance companies still wanted a record from my overseas insurer to cover the period I was away. Immigrants are in the same boat with the 90-day wait period. Refugees can access the Interim Federal Health Program until they are eligible for provincial health insurance.

    I think there are many Christians who would be offended if I called Jesus a child molester, a homosexual, or even non-celibate. There are some indications that he could have been any of those, although none is concrete evidence just like there is no concrete evidence that he remained celibate as many Christians choose to believe. Beyond the many references to Mary Magdalene which many interpret to be his partner, there is the possibly forged Gospel of Jesus Wife, the Gospel of John has been interpreted by some to imply he had a homosexual relationship with John the Apostle, and the Gospel of Mark could suggest that Jesus had a sexual encounter with a young boy. I am not suggesting any of the above, just pointing out that if I were to walk down the street with a sign that said Jesus was a sexual pervert there are many who would take offence to that. I am no hero for doing that, I would be wrong. I am not supporting anyones freedom of speech by doing such an act.

    You answered the question yourself. Don't be an *******, because that is wrong. It might be legal, but that doesn't make it right. Abuse your freedoms and you are not a hero for others who exercise them properly, you are hurting them as well.

    Again you are equating legal with right. They are very different issues. Its not illegal to go to school in a dirty torn shirt, but you mom taught you that it is not right. No, just because some Muslims do wrong things is not an excuse for you to offend many Muslims who do not. Find a better way of expressing your opinion.

    Warped is being intentionally offensive just to provoke a reaction. On the Internet we call it trolling, and consider it wrong. Abusing your freedom of expression only hurts others who exercise their freedom properly. That does not make one a hero, but exactly the opposite.

      Yeah the emoluments will do it nicely. After the court costs are paid you will no doubt notice a large reduction on the drain on your pubic purse.

    Yes, you have the right to find gay marriage wrong. In fact you have the freedom to express that opinion. If you choose to express it in an offensive manner, say interrupting a gay marriage ceremony, then you are wrong. Take your protest to the street, write your Congressman, etc. Those are all valid expressions of your freedom of speech.

    Complete and utter nonsense. They are not protecting, or even championing the protection freedom of speech. They are abusing that freedom in order to be offensive.

    Exactly, one has to respond to being offended in a non-criminal manner. That doesn't make being offensive right. We need to exercise judgement and find appropriate ways to criticize that which we disagree with. I disagreed with Canada's military involvement in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria. I however choose to express that disagreement in forums like this one, or by writing letters to my Parliamentary representatives. I did not stand on the bridges crossing the 401 (highway of heroes) as the 150+ dead bodies of soldiers were returned home with a big sign saying "F*ck you murdering scum, you got what you deserved". I should have the freedom of expression to do so, but it is not right. I have the decency to understand that the soldiers are following orders, the knowledge to understand that many of them may not have even lifted a weapon, and finally the respect for the families that lost a loved one.

    You are aware that it is offensive to others, in fact highly offensive. That is what makes it wrong. Yes it is freedom of expression, but that does not make it right. There are many things that are protected by law that are not right, and others where laws were created or imagined in order to stop them. Dress codes are against freedom of expression, and in some cases laws have been created to enforce them. I have no problem with nudity, it is natural, it is freedom of expression. I accept however that there are people offended by it, and I do not walk down the street in the summer without any clothes on. What makes it wrong is that it causes offense to some/many people, in fact people who have had sway to create what I consider completely bad laws. I accept that I cannot change civilization overnight.
