  1. Mike Gravel, the voice of reason???
  2. I'm sure you see him asking tougher questions than "field dressing a moose". Would you like to wager? How about say, $500 just to make things interesting?
  3. I would agree, if individual's didn't already have the right to decide the circumstances of their reproduction. Anyone has the choice to engage in activities that can lead to pregnancy, or the chioice to take certain precautions to prevent it from occuring. However, actions have consequences.
  4. I think that's the fundamental disagreement here. So-called women's rights, don't supercede the rights of other human beings to live.
  5. Exactly. Which is why Obama's campaign is in serious trouble. Quick Barry, go get those styrofoam greek pillars again! Better yet, maybe you can arrange another appearance on Oprah!
  6. So which atheist candidates do you usually vote for? Cause as far as I know, Harper, Dion, and Layton all believe in the "magical sky pixie"!
  7. You mean the same "magic sky pixie" that Barack Obama and Joe Biden believe in?
  8. So you'd agree that, using your analogy, Obama refused to want clean up the spilled milk?
  9. Not only that, but the Intrade market odds are now 52.2 Obama, 46.2 McCain. Obama once held a 25 point lead.
  10. New Obama non-prepared speech gaffe: Obama Calls Penn State The "Nittaly Lions" Remind anyone of John Kerry's "Lambert Field"?
  11. Not only that, but he admits the surge was successful beyond anyone's dreams, but somehow would still vote against it.
  12. Not only did he publicly state that the surge wouldn't work. He actually accused the Administration of escalating the war, and predicted more violence and bloodshed. Wow, talk about being wrong. And now, the Iraqi's are taking control of province after province, while Petreus is talking about large numbers of U.S. troops leaving Baghdad and coming home. I'm eagerly awaiting watching him explain himself to the American people during the debates.
  13. "They're the ones whose names appear on laws and landmark reforms, not just on buttons and banners, or on self-designed presidential seals"
  14. This is just the beginning of Palinmania!
  15. Oh. So you'd have felt better if Bush had just bombed Iraq, like Clinton bombed Serbia? Interesting. So it's more about U.S. casualties, and screw the rest of the world, cause they're lives aren't as important?
  16. Yeah, that's why you want it to be true. Of course. Just like all those concerned about whether or not her children will get the proper care and attention.
  17. Nice! But...but...but, I thought that pick was as bad as Dan Quayle?
  18. No, the idea that Obama was a Muslim was floated, originally by the Clinton campaign. But, being a Muslim does not necessarily make one a member of Al Qaeda. I think you owe Muslims an apology.
  19. So the discussion has moved on to hypotheticals now? Sounds good. What if Barack Obama is really a secret member of Al Qaeda?
  20. Of course it would be an issue. It was also be an issue if Barack Obama was involved in an affair with Scarlett Johansson.
  21. That's incorrect. The speech was actually written on monday, with her, and two others, and was practiced on tuesday, before her appearance on wednesday. Facts are stubborn things.
  22. SurveyUSA: Palin Gets an 'A' 24 hours ago, independent voters nationwide were split on whether Palin was an asset or a liability to McCain's campaign. Today, by a 2:1 margin, independents say Palin is an asset. Overnight, the percentage calling the Alaska governor an asset to the campaign climbed 13 points; the percentage calling her a liability fell 17 points. The numbers are similar among moderates, who 24 hours ago viewed Palin as a liability by an 11 point margin; today, Palin is seen as an asset by an 18 point margin. RCP 37.2 million watched Palin

  24. Godwin's law Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies)[1] is an adage formulated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The law states:[2][3] "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one." Wikipedia Good job! That's alright. Nobody's buying the "concerned citizens for the welfare of Sarah Palin's children" meme anyways. Nice try.
  25. Just by observing the number of views and replies to this thread, illustrates the phenomenal level of excitment for this monumental selection as VP. It's already quite amazing. And each new view, and each new post, only serves to solidify that reality.
