  1. Or eternity? The crux here is the idea of protest. I can't camp in a local park without a permit . . . unless I'm protesting something? Does it matter what I'm protesting? I could be protesting the Leafs performance as of late. If the judge comes down on the side of the protesters a precedent would be set that bylaws are essentially unenforceable.
  2. Oh so you're talking about what olp1fan was posting then. Give him Hell Mike!
  3. Other than Troll, what other names have been slung at other posters in this thread. I apologize for calling his thread shitteh. That was unfair of me.
  4. A popular internet search engine. Generally when people don't know things on the interwebs they go their to educate themselves on the issue.
  5. Why cuz we're both engaging you in your shitteh cake thread that turned into making broad claims about Christianity. Below are opinions that are similar to the opinions you're putting forward about Christians. All Occupy Protesters are Lazy Hippies!!! All Gay People play the victim card!!! All Muslims hate women!!! Prove me wrong!!!
  6. Presenting subjective opinions as facts. And you wonder why people think you're a troll.
  7. So maybe you should have found a church that had a youth group then. Or a church that wasn't full of gossipy busy bodies. They all aren't that way you know. Again nice sweeping generalizations from you.
  8. Groups of teenagers tend to gossip and get clichy? NO EFFIN' WAY!!!!! olp1fan I hate to break it to you: Water is also wet. People who base their opinion of people of faith by experiences at a youth group are hilarious to me.
  9. Making blanket statements is cool when you're doing it against Christians I suppose. Can I make blanket, unsupported statements about the Gay community and Islam too?
  10. Well if you're going to play the theological argument. I think only Catholics have strict laws regarding divorce, but then again they also are opposed to birth control so I find their doctrine regarding marriage kind of loopy. Sin is sin though. Divorce probably isn't worse than say . . . envy. The bible clarifies reasons where divorce is permissible. I guess you'd have to assess the situation in each case of divorce. For example adultery is a perfectly acceptable reason for divorce. Now "falling out of love" not so much. What about reason's related to money? That's why most marriage split up in Canada. The Bible isn't clear on this.
  11. Google and paying attention during Geometry class FTW.
  12. So they are about as horrible at it than everyone else then. Most people in the US are Christians. Sorta like when Pitt Bull lovers say that Labs bite people more than than Pitt Bulls. Well perhaps that's because Labs are the #1 owned dog.
  13. I don't suppose you have any evidence to support this.
  14. That's easy. http://media.cakecentral.com/gallery/752444/normal_1278012084.jpg
  15. Multi-Quote Slapfight.
  16. I'd imagine Daddy Dalton would whip the vote if he's truly against it. Hudak has already said he's not going to whip the vote. Since it's an NDP motion I'd imagine they'd all fall in line.
  17. OK so then why does he need 3 days before he can hear them. More important things at hand. Had they been evicted before the injunction I wonder how quickly the judge would have made a ruling. A la OWS.
  18. Well the Occupy Toronto will get boring for the next few days. Does the judge really need 4 days to decide this issue? Curious if they judge comes down on the side of the City, will the protesters leave on their own or will they force the cops to turf them. Interesting perspective I heard on this from Josh Matlow who's a Toronto City Councillor. His claim is that there are many destitute homeless people in the camp and someone needs to be done about them before the encampment is removed. I thought this protest was only about people that wanted to stick it to the 1%?
  19. The Precedent has been set. There's nothing to stop the City of New York to do the exact same thing they did today. I'm sure they'd be far less patient with people squatting in one of the city's tourist attractions.
  20. Here's a story about it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-15749348 IT'S OVAH!!!!
  21. I think that boat has already sailed dood. Not a single news report I've read about the Occupy Protests say much about the "Real Issues" It's about the potential evictions.
  22. Well if that was the case then Vancouver would be the test case. Apparently a request for an injunction has been made in this instance and many of the left-wing councillors have drafted a letter requesting debate on the issue. Ironically the councillor who's Ward St James Park is in didn't sign the letter.
  23. Well then Bloomberg should claim that he broke those laws in protest. That protest is protected by his freedom of speech.
