Russia doesn't even have enough military capital to properly train the poor souls they're making cannon fodder.
If other's are dying, it's because of Putin. Not hawks in the West.
Think of how many would have died if Ukraine fell and resorted to a Guerilla war?

Pragmatism in War is a difficult thing. The Azov regiment are good fighters. Certainly not emblematic of the Ukrainian power structure as a whole however.
