  1. Back up your claim with a cite that says that "___X___ percent of healthy people who 'recover' from covid still end up with long-term organ damage." We don't care about 1 in a million. PROVIDE A USEFUL CITE!
  2. You're the one making claims of damage. Those are easy to cite if the damage occurs with any type of frequency. Can you find a cite that says that the regular flu doesn't cause long-term organ damage? Cites, Bubber. CITES! (Cites that actually back up what you're saying. IE, not cites that say "something can happen", cites that say things like "a certain percentage of people exposed to the virus will get ____________".) Some people die from these things: https://www.dailycal.org/2017/06/30/14-things-kill-people-sharks/ Falling out of bed, opening champagne..... Should we ban beds? Or sleeping?
  3. Must be humiliating to post cites that don't back up what you're trying to prove.
  4. The truth isn't illegal yet Bubber. When that day comes you'll be the last one left posting.
  5. I honestly think Cuomo is un-electable now. If he had the grace to sail off into the sunset now that's probably his best move. Right now the fogeygate story is sliding because there are so many bigger fish to fry. If he runs as VP right now the fact that he euthanized tens of thousands of old folks is going to take center stage for the whole country and it will sink the Dems' boat. Newsom will probably be President one day. I dunno if he wants to go VP. I don't think a lot of VPs become POTUS and I don't know if he wants the stench of failure on him from running alongside Biden. Plus, being seen as Biden's sidekick is like being PeeWee Herman's sidekick. You can't be seen as the assistant to anyone, let alone a feeble loser.
  6. Yes, completely fake news. In case you forgot, it was pre-ordained that protesting wouldn't cause covid to flare up, and that's because protesting (wink wink) was encouraged by the Obamas, CNN, etc. Even when people were being killed and there was over a billion dollars worth of rioting, arson, looting and murder they were still encouraging protesting (wink wink) and it still didn't spread covid. According to your theory, and your stats, protesting, rioting, looting and gang-thumping people are literally the only things that people can do in large groups without spreading covid. So to answer you and dialamah at the same time, it's ok to go into a store without a mask, you just have to make sure that you steal a big-screen TV so that no one gets covid.
  7. Right. And when you don't, you don't. Because the truth matters? You're the one who insists on using the US as a comp. The country that did the opposite of Trudeau is Japan. They banned travel, told people to wear masks, and they have our entire population jammed into the Tokyo Metro Area. Japan has less than 1,000 deaths. He isn't making masks mandatory. They're not mandatory here either. My point is that your comment was idiotic. You're comparing dandelion fluff to satchel charges.
  8. 1)Most of the time people don't need masks. 2)If we would have blocked travel when Trump did, and we never told people not to wear masks, we wouldn't be in this pickle. 3) FYI the difference between HIV and Covid is rather large, as is the manner in which they're transmitted.
  9. Wearing N-95 masks. Gloves aren't necessary. They can just as easily be contaminated as hands and they don't get washed.
  10. Lots of people were infected by the rioting. Don't kid yourself. You can't loot a store or deliver a gang beating on an old lady without getting close.
  11. You don't watch CNN, you get their stories from Vogue and Cosmo. Good for you. You're still sucked in. Go cite the post instead of just referring to it all the time. Where is it eyeball? I know that you printed it and have it under your pillow, but where's the link?
  12. Ummm, I've had a "Secret" security clearance in the military, so what? We're Canadian. We both know American laws from reading and listening. Gross Negligence in handling classified materials is a felony. Gross Negligence in handling what? We don't know, because she destroyed all the evidence after it was subpoenaed. That's no big deal either, right? Other Americans have gone to jail for these types of things. Eg, just having a picture on your phone of the inside of a sub. No proof that it was ever shared with anyone. Jail.
  13. You're comparing not wearing a mask with intentionally murdering someone lol.
  14. I guess that no one thing alone that you could do vs covid is brilliant, but the sum of several correct measures is brilliance. Japan told their citizens to wear masks, that's correct, they supplied each household with masks, that's correct, they banned travel from Hubei Province, that was correct, they aggressively traced carriers, that was correct, the sum total of those parts is brilliance. The US banned travel from China and the other covid areas. That was correct. They didn't tell citizens to wear masks, that was not good. They did lots of testing and tracing, but covid had already spread too far, too fast, and with too little of a trace (asymptomatic carriers rendered this one system almost useless). The biggest mistakes made by the US came from the mouths of Democrats. Ride the Subway, eat in restaurants, hang out in big throngs in Chinatown, put sick people back into care homes, etc. All of those things were done by Dems and their Health Officials. Putting sick people back into care homes was the single most idiotic thing done on the planet. Cuomo was actually worse than Trudeau in the 'fight against' covid. That's an over-arching truth that can't be ignored. No matter what you do it takes a lot of time for the 2M people in Edm to infect the 1M people in Winnipeg. It can't happen very fast. Some people have to fly from one city to the other, find some crowded spaces where the virus can spread really fast, and there aren't that many. There's no target-rich environment in Wpg that compares to a subway with 4.3M riders per day. It literally only takes one daily commute for the 2M people in Queens to infect most of the other 2M people in the Bronx. Miami's MSA has the same population as the GTA. Dallas and Houston both have a larger MSA than Toronto, and it's just a few hrs to drive that far. It's like going from Vancouver to Kamloops. Pho's MSA is just a bit smaller. They had riots every day, we had one or two peaceful protests. Texas also has 30M people. Florida has 21.5M people. Surely you can see how if the population of Canada was compressed to 1/50th it's current size, covid could transfer far more rapidly....
  15. Everything in Canada re: covid has been late, idiotic, or unnecessary. Everything. You name the topic, I'll tell you how it was one of those 3 things.
  16. You claim to have a BS filter, but you are sucked in by literally every single CNN talking point. Someone gave you a filter that blocks common sense and facts. I don't take it seriously at all. Why should I Google Koch and CATO? CNN and their toadies don't talk about them. Fox doesn't talk about them. I've never seen them on social media. I've lived my whole life without ever hearing about them so they're obviously not that important. Why the F should I care about them? I realize that you need to be right on this one and you need it to be important, maybe to save your sanity or so that you don't still feel like you're ofer 27,000 posts. I don't care eyeball. I have over 4,000 posts here. If I was wrong once it's not the end of the world, but if you look back I never said that I knew who they were. I just said that they were being stooges at that point. And I honestly don't recall what the point was. Was it the "drinking out of toilets" comment or something like that?
  17. We still have choices. Our PM screwed up right at the beginning by completely mismanaging covid. He gave the worst advice possible and did absolutely nothing aside from let Covid in. Canada should have done better than Japan vs Covid by orders of magnitude. We did worse than Japan by orders of magnitude. Now we're still fighting it.
  18. FYI, it's possible for Charles Koch to get sucked in by some CNN idiocy. Millions of people do every day. You're leading the charge. If you're dumb enough to believe every single thing that CNN says, what makes it so hard for you to believe that Charles Koch would be fooled that one day? I get that it's really important for you to believe that I was wrong one day back in 2019, sorry but I just wasn't. There's still hope for the future. One day I'll be Joe Biden's age. It's bound to happen.
  19. We just racked up $354B in debt this year. We're now approaching $1Trillion, and this year's budget was over 1/3 of that. We can't afford to shut down the country again unless the 2nd wave of covid is vastly stronger than the first.
  20. The fact that you're going so far back into the vault to bring this quote up over and over is a sad proof of the fact that you've never been right, in all of our head-to-head debates lol. This is the exact quote that you keep referencing, which proved to you that I thought Charles Koch and Cato were left wingers: So, exactly what I said is that I didn't know anything about CATO or Charles Koch. All I knew was what you said was 'farcical'. As usual, you would have been defending some completely moronic CNN talking point, and saying that Koch and CATO said it too or some shit. Maybe they're right wing, but they're morons? It's impossible for all of the morons in the US to be left wing, although it sure seems like it. Honestly to this day I still don't know or care about Charles Koch and CATO. I don't care if they're left-wing, right-wing, or tri-wing. I never see them quoted anywhere, I've never seen Koch interviewed or seen him on a panel or anything anywhere.
  21. Right. I've talked about the 2nd strain of Spanish Flu being unlike the first strain, and being vastly stronger, many times here. I thought that it was something that was common, but apparently viruses usually get weaker as the strain mutates. It's not that it's impossible for it to get stronger, obviously, it is just not likely.
  22. The protection of classified information is a high priorty for the government. Mishandling classified information is a felony. The prevalence of email is a relatively new thing. It's not like Reagan's administration would have had to worry about email servers. These types of policies probably only go back the Bush Sr or Bill Clintons administrations. This isn't nitpicking at all. Withholding exculpatory evidence isn't a minor oversight. Lying to a Judge isn't a faux pas. Using a fake investigation as a smear campaign is a brutal misuse of the FBI's authority. This is all banana republic stuff. When you combine this, with the fact that Hillary got a pass when she was actually guilty of felony mishandling of classified information and destroying subpoenaed evidence, that's a lot. And then there's the fact that the FBI isn't investigating Joe Biden for his Ukrainian quid pro quo. Biden admitted that he fired a Ukrainian prosecutor and put a new one in place himself. The prosecutor he fired was investigating the company where his son mysteriously got an extremely lucrative job for no apparent reason. The new prosecutor isn't doing anything. "It's a proven fact that Joe had nothing to do with it though, because he swears that he didn't even know about it. He even said 'honest injun'." Oh wait, there's a picture of Joe hanging out with Hunter and another member of Burisma's board. "Ok he knew a bit about it. He had his fingers crossed hen he said 'honest injun' so it's ok." And then there's the fact that the the FBI also isn't investigating Joe Biden for his son's mysterious ability to do massive amounts of business with the Communist Bank of China. He just hops on AF2 with dad to go to China, secures a $1.5B dollar business deal, never mentions it on the flight back, and Bob's your mother's brother. "It's a proven fact that Joe had nothing to do with it though, because he swears that he didn't even know about it. He even said 'honest injun'." So Hillary saying "I don't remember, I bumped my head" fifty times and "Joe had nothing to do with it though, he didn't even know about it", and "Joe had nothing to do with it though, he didn't even know about it" work to end FBI investigations but a combination of exculpatory evidence and no evidence of a crime at all isn't enough to put an end to an investigation into Trump? It has to go on for two more years? Can you point to something that I said that's not entirely accurate and on point? Did I neglect to mention something important here? Que est-ce que fork. How can the FBI so easily dismiss claims backed by incontrovertible evidence and then go on a lengthy public trial in the face of exculpatory evidence and with no supporting evidence at all? This is major banana republic bullshit. The modern-day FBI is a complete and total farce. They shouldn't even be allowed to ride golf carts in the fucking mall and they're running around with modern weaponry and assault vehicles.
  23. They did less with regard to Clinton they were required to do by law. They even gave people immunity in her case for giving nothing in exchange at all. They let her say "I don't know, I bumped my head" to every question. She never actually turned in her servers, they turned in a copy. A significant amount of evidence was destroyed two weeks after it was subpoenaed and no one was ever charged with anything. "One of the employees at the IT company she was using had an 'oh shit' moment, it's all good." 17 significant errors and omissions, including the omission of exculpatory evidence which is a crime all by itself? The investigators actually signed off in the beginning of 2017 to close the file for lack of evidence. No evidence of collusion has ever been found to this day, yet the leaders kept the file open and very public right through the 2018 mid-terms, over a year later. They lied to obtain the original FISA Warrant and they were not supposed to get a new warrant unless the investigation was turning up new evidence. It never turned up any evidence of collusion at all. They illegally obtained 4 FISA Warrants. This was nothing more than a public smear campaign disguised as an investigation. The influence of that smear campaign on the mid-terms can't be understated.
  24. The Spanish Flu was actually a rare case where the 2nd wave was stronger than the first. Up until recently I thought that was something that was a strong possibility. It's actually the exception to the rule according to what I've been reading lately.
