Trump spoke out against Amazon, but it's obviously not within the scope of the president's power to unilaterally destroy a company. TBH I don't even know if all the things that Trump said about Amazon are true, but he identified some things which required immediate action if they were. For example, he said that people who were buying from Amazon weren't paying state sales taxes which the local businesses have to collect, giving Amazon a huge leg up on them. The first step in solving a problem is to address it, hopefully that got fixed.
