The only people that I ever hear talking about QAnon are leftists. I don't get any Q info in my social media feeds, via PMs, or anywhere else, and I'm a pretty hard-core conservative. I see lots of disinformation, and I don't know the initial sources of any of it, but I suspect that it's actually leftists who put these straw man type stories out there, trying to trick people into believing it/propagating it, just to take credibility away from people on the right. The leftist puppet masters suck in leftists by the millions, it goes without saying that at least a handful of conservatives will take their bait.

He didn't freeze any aid at all. The aid went to Ukraine when it was supposed to. Go look it up. He didn't demand that the Ukrainians investigated Biden. He asked that they looked into crowdstrike, Zelenski offered to look into the firing of the prosecutor. Go look it up. Burisma built a pipeline of money going directly into the Biden family's pockets, Joe protected Burisma's sleaziest operators, and he used aid to Ukraine form the US government as leverage. Go look it up. I don't blame you for being completely ignorant of all this, or lying about it, you're just toeing the party line. If you ever learn to think for yourself you'll suddenly start to see things like the Biden quid pro quo as the actual crimes they are, and you'll have a hard time believing how badly you got sucked in.

LNG is cleaner, but more prone to terrorist attacks. When the LNG line in BC blew a couple of years ago the province almost ran out. They got so low that they had no reserves: they were down to line pressure. If they ran out it would have been a total disaster. Aside from the fact that people would have frozen, and plumbing lines would be bursting like down in Texas, you can't just have 2 million homeowners re-start their own furnaces. It's guaranteed to result in deaths. It's only an ad hominem attack if it comes in place of defeating another's debate points. If, after you soundly crush someone's debate points into oblivion, like I did, it's ok to voice a little bit of frustration at the ridiculous lack of quality in their arguments. For example, when you try to gloss over the fact that China is building 184 coal-fired plants and act like they're the Green Giant, that's either colossally stupid or just plain ignorant. While it would be entirely possible for me to ignore the elephant in the room, and not mention the ultra-low quality of your argument, I chose to make a note of it. My debating was quite up to the challenge, I just voiced a bit of frustration at the end is all. If you (or others who are reading this) leave this discussion knowing that China is huge catastrophe as a 'green nation', and that their reasons for getting involved in the green tech biz aren't purely altruistic, then this has been a success. It would be racist to care about the people killed by shipping by freight when they were mostly white, just like it's racist to care about white people killed by police, killed by rioters, etc. Fossil fuels account for about 25% of our exports by dollar value. The next closest thing is the auto industry, which is also subsidized. Green tech is already being subsidized by.... a tax on carbon. Anything that this country ever makes 'green' will always have to be heavily subsidized. It brings in a ton of money up front, provides long term jobs, gives our oil more access to foreign markets, and saves people's lives. Then once they're in the ground you can forget about them for years and the area that they're in is 100% green again. Those are all good things. Of course China is competing for jobs in every sector. They know that Americans have a huge boner for green technology. You're still glossing over the fact that China is going to burn more coal in 2 or 3 years than Canada burned in our entire history. WTF are you talking about? Almost anything large can be brought over as component parts. Remember our government just gave a Chinese company the contract for an entire LNG pipeline? How small is that? So you gradually ease into the future. You don't inflict it on the population like China did in their "Great Leap Forward". In case you didn't know, somewhere between 15,000,000 and 55 million people actually leapt into their graves as a result. There's nothing wrong with transitioning to green technology in a democratic, free market way. There's everything wrong with a government that's forcing green tech down our throats and killing fossil fuel jobs here in NA while the rest of the world carries on like normal. Why should be buy oil exported from human rights abusers like Saudi Arabia? Why should we shut down coal here while a human rights abuser like China is building ten times as many coal-fired plants as this country ever had? Trump didn't just have to disclose that he already had Javelins earmarked for Ukraine, he asked for some info and the shipment of Javelins went to Ukraine when it was supposed to.
