How safe are all of these reactors from terrorist threats? I honestly don't know, and our society is getting more and more terrorist-ish every year. -

@Cannucklehead Your own article busted Trudeau for pretending to be oblivious to the fact that his family was feasting at the WE trough. Do you believe that Trudeau "didn't know", or was he lying? If he was lying, why was he lying? It seems impossible that he wasn't lying, but somehow our entire MSM didn't even dare to question him on it. Why is that? Just answer these questions honestly, Canncuklehead. You know that there's a real problem if you can't answer a fair question honestly, especially when the question arose from an article of your own choosing. -

It would destroy the narrative that our gov't liars, media propagandists and environmental virtue signallers worked so hard to create. -

Nope. Not true at all. I asked if you would still have voted for Trudeau if he looked like Butts. You said: I said: Why is that?" To which you responded: We were talking about your last vote, IE Trudeau vs O'Toole. Your choice in the last election came down to those two. You were actually choosing between one ruthless authoritarian crook and a conservative, but you said "two crooks", which was highly inappropriate. As a general statement that would make sense, but you name O'Toole specifically in your previous comment. You said that "O'Toole was no alternative". Your next sentence was about choosing between two crooks, which means that you were applying that rule to Trudeau/O'Toole. You don't have to know them in person to know that Trudeau is nothing more than a lying, corrupt, self-serving weasel whose only votes come from duping fools with his fake virtue signalling. He had a chance to lead the country and all he did was pile up massive amounts of debt, divide the country, enrich his family at taxpayers expense, bully the women in his party until they quit, buy the MSM with taxpayer money, block investigations into his crimes, botch covid like a total chump, kill the energy sector and then fly around in private jets, stammer like an idiot, embarrass us our country on the international stage with his costumes and mixing up Japan and China, etc. Even the communist China media gets to troll our government and our propagandist media now, and their media's criticisms of us can't be denied. It's humiliating. -

LOL. Thanks for the article. Just out of curiosity, is ipolitics one of the media corps that received some of the $600M that Trudeau sent to "select media outlets"? Or one of the TOP SECRET media outets that received $61M from Trudeau "to ensure that the election could be covered accurately" ? Obviously we'll never know, seeing as it's a Liberal Party of Canada secret. Just like he never put any pressure on the AG to use the DPA for SNC Lavalin. We all know that's bullshit. FYI, when he moves his lips he's lying. And yeah, you get to say things like that about a guy after he's been busted for several ethics breaches. His mom was paid $312,000, plus they reimbursed her for............. $167,944 in expenses ? [?] WE gave her $479,944 altogether. Trudeau: "I was unaware that WE gave my mom half a million dollars" lol. Say it Cannucklehead... Tell me right now that you believe Trudeau was unaware that WE gave his mom half a million dollars so that I can piss myself laughing at you. PS: Does this remind you of Joe Biden at all? Joe said that he was completely unaware that Hunter worked for Burisma in at least two different interviews, then after the photo of Joe, Hunter and Devon Archer came out, Joe had to admit that he was previously lying, and that he actually did know about Hunter's job at Burisma when he gave the billion dollar QPQ. Joe also said that he didn't know Hunter was coming to China on AF2 to do business with the Communist Bank of China. It's weird how the families of Trudeau and Biden are cashing in on their influence without their knowledge. Are they fuckin retards? Do they not talk to their families? Of course that's a rhetorical question, because we know for a fact that Joe was lying, but do we trust Trudeau? Are we fuckin retarded too? -

Biden is an influence peddler of the highest order. If you don't know that it's because you watch news channels that don't want you to know. https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/trudeau-government-contributed-1-18-million-to-we-day-event-in-2017-during-which-pms-mother-was-likely-paid-to-speak Trudeau was offering We money to host events. His mom was paid over $300K to speak at those events. His wife and brother got almost $200K from We between them. As you can see, the We charity was also creating Justin Trudeau propaganda. Then out of the blue, there's "a need for a charitable organization to make work projects for youths who are looking for work but can't find any because of covid" and Trudeau selects the We charity without putting the project up for bids. IE, the 'charity' that makes propaganda for Trudeau and funnels taxpayer money to his mom for basically nothing is suddenly going to be running a $900M Hitler Youth camp. His family members weren't 'employees' of We, so the ethics commissioner let this one slide, but they made hundreds of thousands more dollars from We in far less time than Mr. Morneau's family member did. Morneau has a daughter who makes a normal amount of money for working at We so he was 'guilty' lol. In case you don't follow, Margaret Trudeau makes about $10,000/hr to speak at We as a 'contractor' so to speak, so she's not an employee, and Trudeau is 'innocent'. Morneau's daughter had a normal j.o.b. in the travel department, making thousands of dollars per year, so Mrneau was 'guilty' lol. See how it works? Get your family ten times as much for 100x as little and you're in the clear. It's like when Hunter Biden sells his paintings for $500K. "Nothin' to see here!" -

I don't know what the party's rule is regarding expenses. Do you? I never said that stealing from the party was ok, either. I never said that I'd choose Scheer as a leader based on that information. This is the first that I ever heard of it. I said that Scheer's scandal is just a fraction of 1 of Trudeau's many scandals. I said that Trudeau was caught funnelling 20x as much taxpayer money to his mom, and that is just one small part of the We charity scandal. And the fact still stands that Cougar libelled O'Toole by calling him "a crook". That's extremely serious and pathetic behaviour. It seems as if you're defending a person's right to slander people. What's your deal, Cannucklehead? You forgot to comment on this part: Do you understand what it feels like to be accused of being guilty of something until you're proven innocent? -

WestCanMan replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This: 1) This isn't from Canadians so it's a party issue, not a crime 2) It seems like a clerical error because all of his receipts were filed 3) It's a pittance. Trudeau funnelled 20x as much Canadian taxpayer money to his mom in one part of one of his many scandals. I could just as easily say: "We don't have proof that you're a child molester. Yet." Do you see how far your comment falls below the social norms for decency, integrity and polite discourse? -

You said that they were both crooks: "When I have to choose between two crooks". There's no ambiguity there. You didn't say that they are "allegedly crooks" or that there are substantial-but-unconfirmed accusations against them, you said that they are both crooks [O'Toole and Trudeau]. Again, when you say things like that about people who have no such blemish on their character, it's an extremely serious accusation which comes with a burden of proof. I ask you, where did you come by a legitimate belief that O'Toole is a crook? You made a serious accusation and you need to back it up. Where? The idea is that your opinion is nothing more than the product of media manipulation. In this country, Trudeau funnels taxpayer money to his family & friends and the media makes light of his crimes against the country and then buries the stories altogether. He can get caught in serious lies and they won't mention it. He can make stupid mistakes and the media will hide them or act like his blunders made sense at the time. When he starts pontificating to us the media won't point out the blatant hypocrisy of his mutterings, instead they will glorify him for it. You know the scandals. You know the idiotic covid gaffes. You've seen him set covid rules for Canadians and then break them frivolously, or waste tremendous amounts of fuel on private trips after scolding soccer moms for driving SUVs. But the scandals are forgotten, the gaffes were never pointed out, and the hypocrisy was ignored so that he could be cast as a heroic leader. It's propaganda on an appalling scale, and he paid the media here handsomely for it, with taxpayer money. By contrast, when O'Toole makes well-deserved and important criticisms it's viewed as pessimism or racism. If they can't spin what he says or does into something negative then they won't mention it. Everything that he does is blanketed by MSM suspicion. That's how propaganda works. That's how it steals your vote. -
How scary is it that CNN and the Demmies are the ones leading the charge for government oversight of social media? The people who promoted whipgate, Russian collusion, Bimbogate, and who told us that the intel community determined that "Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation", all in the last 4 years, want to be the fact checkers for social media? Talk about the inmates running the asylum.... There are no bigger liars in NA than CNN and the Demmies.

How scary is this? America was run by Dubya for 8 years from 2001-2009, and now Biden [and possibly Kamala] will run the country from 2021-2025. That means that the US will have been run by complete morons for 50% of the first quarter of the 21st century. How is it possible that a country with so many decent, intelligent people can continue to belch out 'leaders' that are so hopelessly daft? What does this mean for democracy? What's to blame? Personally, I believe that it's not intelligence or altruism that fuels a person's desire for power, it's actually the baser instincts that put people on that course. That explains why Hillary got so close [evil], McCain (deceitful scumbag], Obama was POTUS for 8 years [divisive racist] and Trump was POTUS for 4 [egomaniac & philanderer]. Makes me wonder, what was wrong with Romney, Gore and Kerry? (FWIW, Democracy in Canada is no better. Trudeau has been elected PM up here 3 times now. It's insane.)

OMG, for real? The difference between Conservatives and Liberals is that Liberals want Alberta oil to stay in the ground while we buy Saudi oil. The Libs lie about the environmental impact of oil 24/7 to make their case. FYI that area was called the tar sands because the environment was a toxic mess before we started extracting oil there. There are large areas that are cleaner now than when we started. It's actually pretty scummy for you to call O'Toole or Scheer crooks with no supporting evidence. We have mounds of evidence that Trudeau is a slimy crook, so he's obviously the "largest crook" by far. -
If the vaccines were safe and they worked you'd have a point, but they're not safe and they don't work. If I was in a high risk group I'd grasp that straw but I'm not high risk.

IMO that was a really worthwhile post by any standard, which shouldn't have been deleted if there's any point at all of having a comments section. Maybe you're blocked because of things that you posted previously? If I'm being honest, that was miles above you normally write. -

I think that Polievre would steal back a lot of the votes that went to the PPC, then again, he might lose some votes from the center which would end up going to the dark side. The fact that he has a spine will help the MSM run with their "everyone who doesn't vote for Trudeau is a racist" narrative. -
https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/british-arcraft-carrier-ignores-chinese-warnings-for-second-time/ Britain seems to be leading the world in standing up to China. They're putting their carrier at risk, which could come back to haunt them, but they're also projecting a lot of military power in an area that China has declared off-limits to the rest of the world. You have to wonder if Biden's weakness is the main reason that China is being so aggressive right now.

I stand corrected. That was a pretty decent post, even if there wasn't anything in it to back up your point.

Last night Tucker Carlson briefly touched on the topic of violence in Chicago. It happened at about the 9th minute iirc, just after he talked about the fact that the AG, M Garland, is getting the FBI to investigate parents who cross a line in their debates at PTA meetings lol. Anyways, he said that 5 men were released without charges in an incident where a man was killed, because the prosecutors determined that it was "mutual combat". The same reasoning was given when no charges were pressed in the stabbing death of a 19 yr-old. Shooting Death: I looked into it briefly, this is the first article that I pulled up about the shooting death: https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2021/10/3/22707555/5-suspects-released-without-charges-deadly-shootout-austin Not sure what to make of this one. The shootout was on Oct 1 and the decision not to press charges was reported on Oct 4th. It's possible that charges could still be pressed, but the prosecutors and police both seemed pretty dismissive of the need for murder charges, and "Mutual combatants" does seem to have been a part of the decision-making process. Stabbing Death: This one seems pretty outrageous on it's face. Again, the first article that I pulled up was from Yahoo News: https://news.yahoo.com/illinois-family-outraged-no-murder-160408092.html FWIW, Yahoo News is as far left as it gets, so I don't think for a second that they wrote this to make anyone look bad - Chicago and the state that it's in, Illinois, are run by leftists. It sounds like "mutual combat" to the point where the one kid was punched in the face and laid on the ground, the stabbing doesn't sound like "mutual combat" at all. I don't have all day to look into this shit, but if it's legitimate, as it seems to be from two minutes worth of Google searches, it's absolute insanity. I'm not gonna get into who's to blame here for the ultra-low standards that are apparently being set for Illinois society, because it seems too important of a matter to be derailed by partisan political squabbling, but if someone has more info on this I'd love to see it. Side note regarding race: I don't know the ethnicity of any of the perpetrators, but the kid that was stabbed to death was black as can be. I dunno about the 19 yr-old that was shot, but if he was also black, this could be viewed as two instances where law enforcement is legalizing the murders of black kids/men. Am I crazy? Where's BLM? And what do they do - ask the police/prosecutors to be tougher on black men (if the perps were black) or celebrate the fact that they weren't prosecuted? (I'm 100% certain that the perps weren't white or for sure the leftist enclave of Illinois would be in flames right now)
