  1. Having a weak POTUS is just a huge mistake. This just in: https://www.dailywire.com/news/missiles-fired-at-u-s-consulate-in-erbil-iraq-reportedly-from-iran?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=benshapiro&fbclid=IwAR14y9r9iYb5WLAhxqXXxADYN17HSUOsSxeJEel47AFOnOeVwhTl72SXNzw If Trump was POTUS none of this shit would be happening. The world is quickly going to shit.
  2. Just like Trudeau "We are going to phase out the oil industry in Canada." And leftists think that Trump was in Russia's pocket lol.
  3. That's a great video, which means that leftists won't watch it. When leftists here tried to pimp their story that "The Ukrainians are winning! Look at the casualty reports!" I pointed out to them that it was actually just evidence that Russia was fighting an incredibly bloodless war. CTVtards don't understand what the casualty reports would look like if 175,000 professional troops with complete air superiority were intent on winning an all-out war. In addition to the Ukrainians illegally and stupidly arming their untrained citizens to fight 1) they're letting people out of jail to fight and 2) they brought up jihadists and armed them with Javelins and stinger missiles lol. It's stupid on top of stupid on top of stupid. Zelensky is handling this situation with Russia like the kids playing Jenga on Talladega Nights. There's a real Biden moment at 1:06. Coincidence? I think not!
  4. Exactly. After seeing all of the things that leftists supported over the past few years, I'm definitely in no rush to be associated with them.
  5. So what is your high and mighty opinion of all this eyeball? Just spell it out, I'm not interested in sifting through all of the various Russian/Ukraine threads and piecing it together. Sorry to burst your bubble but Biden isn't a 'good guy'. In general, Putin isn't a 'good guy' either, but right now he's the leader of a country with 200M+ people and it's up to him to keep the wolf away from the door, and that's what he's doing. Ukraine had a chance to be neighbourly, they chose to invite hostiles to Russia's border, and don't kid yourself, that's exactly what's at stake. Re: hostiles, Hillary Clinton probably has a 25% chance of becoming the POTUS in 2024, and there's no doubt that she'll unhinge her jaw on someone if she becomes POTUS. The warbucks are too good to pass up on. If Hillary wins the election, Putin needs to have his finger hovering over the button 24/7.
  6. I forgot about this part, and the answer is obviously no. Look at how much houses cost, and imagine the difference in price if you have an urban goat ranch or a normal yard.
  7. Yes, only by Ukrainians who are operating as illegal combatants, as per the request of President Zelensky No, the war is not illegal in any way. Russia's lead-up to war was up-front, they had legitimate reasons which they plainly stated, and Ukraine chose to ignore them. It's a war of their own choosing. Like whom? Kamala Harris, for telling Ukraine right before they attacked that "joining NATO was a great option"? Are you kidding me? The US military industrial complex is making a mint off of this war. China is actually stooging the Russians right now. They acted like they'd attack Taiwan soon after Russia attacked Ukraine, now they're sitting on a hill watching the tigers fight. None of it was right, and an emphatic yes.
  8. No? Nothing like "The rumours about bio-weapons labs in Ukraine are completely false. Anyone who says anything of the sort is a conspiracy theorist and a nutjob. We just have a bunch of labs where we work with the kinds of bio-weapons that terrorists might use and we're afraid of the Russians getting them. It's mostly just Soviet-era stuff that was here from a long time ago, so basically we don't want them to get their 20 yr-old technology back." They said all of that with a straight face, if you can believe it. Nothing like: "In Germany there were 11M soldiers standing on the line between Nato and the Warsaw Pact. The area was dotted with strategic nukes and WDM stockpiles, so German kids took NDCB training like Canadian kids study math. But that will never happen along the Russian border, haw - haw." Google Allen Lightner for shits and giggles. OMG, thanks for clearing that up. What a relief. Look at the members of the US congress drooling for a no-fly zone right now. The US military industrial complex owns them ffs. Ukraine isn't even a NATO country and they're acting like Russia just sneak-attacked London. Those aren't level-headed people with integrity and decency, they're hypocrites with shiny guns, and the leftists are the worst of them all. "Give the Ukrainians guns because people who are armed can't be lorded over by dictators!" Hmmmmm. But in the west it's leftist dictators who want to disarm the most peaceful group of people in the history of the earth.... Nope. No bioweapons labs either, right Aristedes? The American gov't stated that emphatically. It's one thing for the Russians to be reasonably certain that there aren't a boatload of strategic nukes in Estonia and Latvia, but Ukraine is a different story. (FYI: Russia shares a border with NoKo, just south of Vladivostok)
  9. You don't understand the difference between "we committed a genocide because places like Iran, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia aren't muslim enough for us to live in" and "we don't want a 20-country army camped on our western border" do you? This isn't hypocrisy Moonbox. You're the one who's guilty of that, unless of course you want to make the case that you think Kennedy was wrong to deny Cuba the right to host Russian nukes. No other CTVtard has taken on that challenge.
  10. We operate a small business, and in the area that we work out of, that home was priced according to what we could afford, it fit all of our kids, and could fit our business. We also believed in real estate as a great investment, and in the lower mainland, I'm sure you know how true that has been since '95 when I bought my first condo. Now we have a commercial space, which takes up sq footage, but also gives us a storefront, and a smaller home with suites for the two grown-ups and their husbands. We're under 3,800 sq ft here, that's very modest for 7 people. If you ever owned a business I'm sure that you'll understand that we never took up more space than we needed because we don't have a guaranteed income and we will always have expenses. Business owners don't qualify for mortgages quite as easily as people with similar incomes and regular 9-5s. Living in excess is for people who "have made it", and right now we haven't 'made it', plus we are still supporting a lot of people - our kids are still paying off student debt so they don't pay rent. I personally drive a Passat TDI and my wife's SUV isn't a luxury brand. We don't live in excess at all and that's not our plan for the future. We're more focused on setting our kids up. I don't know how kids these days will ever own a home if their parents rent. I have ample room to criticize leftist climate alarmist idols, like Suzuki/DiCaprio/Prince William/Bernie Sanders/Barack Obama/John Kerry/Justin Trudeau, who talk about climate change from one side of their mouth while laughing out the other, and leaving behind the carbon footprint of a small- to mid-sized town.
  11. We were talking about Russiaphobia and islamophobia, and if he was talking about islamophobia, which more closely fits the date range he mentioned, then his post made no sense. You really suck at everything related to facts, history, politics, integrity and common sense. They're your stupid words, who should I blame? Wrong. I'm saying that Russia isn't in a position to do anything short of what they're doing right now. It's a time to look at current events, not history. If you look at relevant, recent history, Russia is doing what America did when Kennedy was Prez. I'm saying that Russiaphobia is a fad among stupid CNNtards and CTVtards. Sadly, even most of the people at Fox are mostly pimping Russiaphobia now. It's hypocrisy/stupidity of the highest order.
  12. FYI that's just one of the things that I mentioned, but you're conflating rural people with lots over 15,000 sq ft with city-dwellers who have a lot more land than they need. In rural areas 15,000 sq ft is normal, even small. If I moved to a condo in the city, sure, I would get rid of my pressure washer and all of my landscaping equipment (which isn't much) and almost all of my tools. Even my camping equipment. It's a totally different lifestyle. But when we owned a 19,000 sq ft lot I was constantly towing a utility trailer around, and we always needed things like fencing, pavers, rocks, soil, etc. That's not realistic with a Tesla, and not everyone can afford/has the room for a 3rd vehicle like an old F-250. Trucks are a reality, and if you price them, it's obvious that most guys weren't choosing an F-150 if they could drive a pimped-out Mustang or Nissan Murano for much less.
  13. Where's your historical knowledge? Have you never heard of the Moors? And what's your point about the Ottomans? Do you think that they were some kind of a utopian society who never committed any genocides? No, because I didn't know if he was referring to Russians or Muslims. They are both in the area of 1400 yrs old and he referred to muslim as a country, which is entirely laughable. In all honesty, this is gibberish, and if you don't know that it's because you don't have a clue about grammar, punctuation or clarity: That was basically unintelligible and fraught with stupidity, inaccuracy, lack of context and meaning, etc. It was a steaming pile of blather. What you said in your post was utterly devoid of meaning. You didn't make a point with your reference to the Ottomans. And your point here is exactly what? Aren't you picking America over Russia? Your whole point is that "It's ok for the Americans and NATO to have biological weapons labs [an absolute certainty now] in Ukraine and to expand NATO's influence to the eastern border of Ukraine, basically turning western Russia into a scary, unliveable hell, and Putin should have no recourse." That's just you being partisan and stupid. If Canada had bio-weapons research facilities here that we shared with a sino-ruskie alliance, and we asked them to formalize an alliance with us that had an "Article 5" clause in it, and which would allow them to park cruise missiles and stealth fighters along the 49th parallel, we'd instantly be invaded by the US. There would be cruise missiles up Trudeau's ass before he had time to fart. If you don't believe me, just look at what the US did when Cuba tried to provide Russia with some silos. Kennedy threatened Russia with all-out war if he didn't pull out his missiles. Why doesn't Putin have that right if Kennedy did? And if you're being honest, you'll admit that Kennedy's actions still have the unanimous support of all Americans, and I've never heard a single Canadian say that Kennedy was wrong. FYI we came within a hair's breadth of nuclear war on one fine day during that crisis. It came down to a single command decision made by a submarine fleet commander right at the split second when he was having depth charges dropped on him. That's close. Was it worth it? Yes? No? Who cares. Russia is doing what they have to do, and they have far better reasons than Kennedy ever did.
  14. OMG. 1) Are you suggesting that Indo-Canadians don't work in construction? 2) Aren't you in Victoria? 3) The more rural of an area you live in, and the larger your property is, the greater your need for a truck. If you have a lot that's over 15,000 sq feet you pretty much need a truck, unless you can afford landscapers.
  15. Ben Gazi? What is that? Is it the name of a dancer that you had for you 18th birthday or something? Q: How bad did her handling of the Benghazi (learn that spelling) have to be in order for her to be investigated on 7 different accounts? Info: She actually was 100% caught on a lie about "why the attack happened". Info: The attack went on for 13 hours and the group that finally rescued the Americans weren't even "other Americans" or known allies, they weren't even a Libyan militia that the US gov't contacted themselves, check this out: https://www.businessinsider.com/benghazi-militia-gaddafi-2016-6 The key takeaway here is that even after 13 hours the US gov't still didn't even manage to save those guys. They had effectively done absolutely nothing up to that point in time. They got lucky, and some remnants from the old regime - that the US Gov't had deposed - pulled their fat outta the fire, or the rest of the Americans there would have eventually been killed and dragged around the streets of Libya. Info: The US Gov't was told many times that their security wasn't adequate to deter Libyan militias from attacking, and that they weren't capable of withstanding an attack. Long story short, 1) people under Hillary's watch were left in a volatile & untenable situation, 2) Hillary herself was warned of it multiple times by the people who knew the most about the situation there, 3) she still chose to do nothing to prevent the carnage that ensued, 4) during the 13 hours that Americans were being killed she effectively did absolutely nothing to put a stop to it. 5) If not for some unsolicited help from the most unlikely of people, every American in Benghazi would have died. 6) Hillary lied emphatically about why the attack occurred in an attempt to make it seem like the US Gov't had no reason to expect that an attack was imminent or even likely, but she knew all along. Stop weaselling for Hillary. She was proven to be a colossal, amoral idiot with no integrity. Trump never had a stinker that was even remotely close to this level of failure in his tenure as President, and there were a lot of situations that had the potential to go very wrong for the US. In Trump's "Benghazi" moment, a US embassy was attacked, the attackers were repelled, only 1 contractor was killed, and the top 2 generals in Iran (a nuclear-armed country with modern ships, fighter jets and rockets/missiles) paid with their lives. That is the only war in history where a country of Iran's power lost two rooks for a pawn and just STFU about it.
  16. 90%? FYI I live in Langley and even here, the most country-urban environment in the lower mainland, there aren't a lot of pickup trucks. Of the 30 cars that I just looked at on my street, only two are pickups, and one is at the construction site across the road. People don't have to take my word for it though: if you go to google, and then select google maps, you can click on the little yellow man from the bottom-right corner of the screen, and drop him onto any road in Langley, and you'll be able to see all the cars on the road or in the driveways there. It's not 90% trucks. It's closer to 10% tesla and other EVs.
  17. Your best defence here is that you're speaking Bidenese, so nothing that you said made sense, but I'm gonna go ahead and guess that if you said that in English it would have been stupid, misleading and lacking in historical knowledge/understanding.
  18. Listen to yourself: you're saying that Pierre Poilievre is so far to one side of the political spectrum that he doesn't appeal to enough voters, so you think he can't beat sockboy? Sockboy is the most extreme politician we've ever had, by far. He's unbelievably shallow, he's ethically challenged, he's a hate monger, he dresses up like a clown, he lies about stupid things like water bottles, he used indigenous people as a prop for two years and then went to Tofino on their one day, and literally no one takes him seriously as a man or as a leader. He had to use the emergencies act before he even tried saying one thing to the Freedom Convoy. He literally froze people's bank accounts and had them trampled and beaten by police instead of just having a conversation about his own policy of force-vaxing people. That's by far the most fringe thing that any politician anywhere in the world did in the last year.
  19. That's a new one. No thanks.
  20. No one's going all the way from voting for Trudeau to voting PPC. Unless you can make Lisa LaFlamme do this ? it's hard to oppose Trudeau. Conservatives won the popular vote the last two elections in a row, and if you count the 4 previous elections it's probably 5 for 6. We're not a small fringe group, we just lose all the close votes in Ontario.
  21. I never said that I trusted him at all, but a broken clock is right twice a day. When it's 5:53 it's 5:53. Putin will be wrong 1 minute from now (i.e. when this war is over).
  22. Are they a state sponsor of terrorism? I honestly don't even know now. I trust the US gov't about as far as I can throw them.
  23. Covid is like the new religion. 2,000 years ago people were controlled by shaman, priests, mullahs, rabbis , etc, now we're controlled by the flu.
  24. They have a right to live in peace, and Ukraine was a dire threat to that. They didn't have to choose that route but they did. Your inability to have understanding for other people's situations is duly noted. No but you're the cause of it for anyone with an IQ over 70. Your amorality is duly noted.
  25. Uh, ok, so then islamophobia is acceptable too? They've committed 2 massive genocides in the past 50 years, plus a minor one in Yuogoslavia. They commit 95% of the terrorist attacks on earth. The bigotry inside the countries that they control makes Russia look like an LGBTQ utopia, and all of that violence, religious bigotry and homophobia stems right from their prophet himself. Is islamophobia ok too now C'15?
