There's never been a greater need for a party to pretend to have distanced themselves from their terrible past than the Dems have in the 21st century. FYI no one assumed the role of "racists and slavers" when the Dems were trying to polish their turd of a reputation. That's pure fiction. The Dems were slavers back when they formed the KKK and now they bring illegals in to do the same jobs, just with a different name. And like I said, you still can't find an other example of a party's bill getting more support from the other side than their own. The Civil Rights bill can basically be thought of as a Republican bill.

You're so full of sh1t your eyes are brown. FYI the civil rights act of 1964 got more support from the GOP than it did from the Dems. Try to find another example of a party bringing a bill out to be voted on, and getting more support from the opposition than from their own party... In any country. Ever. I'll wait.

Holy stupid f-tards Batman! This clown spent 4 years crying about Russian collusion and now he's accusing conservatives of being scared of Russia...

It wasn't that long ago that JWR lost her cabinet position and was thrown out of the LPOC caucus for not bowing to pressure from Trudeau to bend our judicial system to suit his fancy. The rough, unfair treatment of that strong, capable First-Nations person of integrity was no big deal to our MSM, she's gone and completely forgotten as far as they're concerned. In 2025, when faced with a galling lack of integrity from a different LPOC MP, Carney chose to do nothing at all. He just publicly backed Chiang through this: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/breaking-contentious-liberal-mp-paul-chiang-drops-out-of-race/ar-AA1C4DSk Chiang, who served as a Liberal MP since 2021, announced heโs stepping aside as the partyโs candidate after comments to Chinese-language media earlier this year suggesting somebody turn over Conservative Don Valley North candidate Joe Tay to the Chinese embassy to collect the HK $1 million bounty placed on his head by Beijing. FWIW, the Chinese gov't actually does have an arrest warrant out for Tay, so it was no idle threat. It wasn't a joke at all to Tay either, regardless of what Chiang says his intentions were. The bottom line is that too much integrity absolutely will get you kicked out of the LPOC, but a lack of integrity will earn you the direct support of its leadership.

Conservatives are essentially democratic in nature, unlike Libs, who look to authority figures like Trudeau and Biden as Gods who can never be questioned. Joe Biden could have been declared braindead and CNN could stick an iPhone cord into hiss ear and say "Hey, look, It's ringing! Joe's calling us! His voice sounds a lot like George Soros's voice, but that's just how the iPhone picks up brainwaves. Let's hear what the President has to say...", and 100.0% of libs would swear on their mothers' graves that the will of the president was coming out of that iphone.

Conservatives Have Taken the Lead in Federal Polls
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No, not "the government" at all. Every single person in Canada knows that it's Trudeau and the LPOC that the CBC has to thank for those huge cheques/bribes, so just stop being deceitful. All that anyone else in Canada had to do with that is to foot the bill. The CBC's decades of deceit and LPOC service has finally led to the conservatives vowing to end them, as they rightly should, to save our democracy. We both know that if the trolls at CBC value their jobs, they have to get Carney elected. Canada is a "one-party democracy" now as far as the CBC is concerned, and I think we all know how democratic 1-party rule is. Just look at Russia, China, or the covid cult in Canada to see what that looks like. -
Conservatives Have Taken the Lead in Federal Polls
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The LPOC pays CBC and other "select media outlets" billions of dollars, and CBC decides what pollsters to pay attention to. You could have the most accurate polling in the history of elections, and if the MSM ignores you, your polling firm will go the way of the dinosaur. There's no conspiracy. The LPOC gives the MSM billions of dollars and in turn, the MSM supports the LPOC 100%. There's nothing hidden or secret about it. Carney just offered the CBC over $1B right before this election, just like they gave MSM outlets hundreds of millions of dollars right before the 2019 election and the 2021 election. If the LPOC wins, CBC wins and Canada is dead. If the LPOC loses, the CBC is toast but the country gets a fighting chance. ๐ Like the Jews in 1938 Germany did. I always call them PC's. Have ever since I was a kid. CPC just sounds weird to me, and they were never rooted in the Social Credit Party. Ewww. The latest seat counts are as follows: Canada 338 April. 6, 2025- Grits 195 seats CPC 122 seats Eric Grenier's Poll Tracker Apr. 6, 2025 - Grits 203 seats CPC 118 seats TBH, the only momentum that I see for Carney comes from: polls, which are always BS, and the CBC, which is always BS, and they get paid handsomely for it Carney isn't saying or doing anything at all to warrant any kind of momentum. He's just getting caught lying, getting caught lying some more, locking Nflders out of campaign stops in Nfld, getting caught telling voters in different provinces the opposite things, reversing Trudeau policy that was previously considered to be dyed-in-the-liberal-wool to bring in 'CPC' ๐ policy that was always deemed to be something-ist, saying stupid things like "I think we need a socialist housing corporation" (that's not what he called it, but that's what it is), etc. After he got busted for saying that he's the one who guided Canada's economy through the 2008 US recesion he got caught pretending that I hope you're right -
For what will Joe Biden be best known?

Conservatives Have Taken the Lead in Federal Polls
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Polls have always overestimated the Liberals in Canada. That's just what they do. If you found a polling firm that didn't generate the results that CBC wanted, they'd just never be cited. If the poll I just posted overestimated the conservative vote then it's the first of its kind. -
Conservatives Have Taken the Lead in Federal Polls
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Both of those bolded ones are owned by the same ex-LPOC staffer, just for an idea of what they're actually worth The current thread on this page about "Libs ins the lead" was posted when only 1 polling firm had the Libs in front, and all the others had them behind, so it's bang-on in accuracy from a leftist POV ๐ -
The Dems were the party of slavery, denying blacks the vote, Jim Crowe laws, and the KKK was the dems' own militia. Guess who the GOP was started by... TBH, I don't even think that's true. I'm pretty sure that the Dems/their handlers, arranged transportation to get illegals right up the the border. There are a lot of sex workers who can't leave either. DUH! I think we'll just let the facts speak for themselves, hey bobo?

New CPC Strategy Idea: Stop Pandering to Quebec

https://ca.news.yahoo.com/conservatives-lead-first-time-federal-223147507.html Conservatives in the lead for first time in federal campaign, new poll shows It has taken a lot of stupid comments, lies, gaffes, the revealing of several of Carney's conflicts of interest, and Carney getting caught with his hands in the US gov't and China cookie jars during this trade war, plus a lot of near-perfect campaigning from Poilievre, in order for the polls to start tilting back towards the PC's in the upcoming election. No doubt the Nanos polls, controlled by ex-LPOC staffer Alexander Nanos, will continue to skew the overall polling results in favour of Nanos's leader of choice, but no intelligent human takes those into consideration. Theoretically this new conservative lead would still translate into another LPOC minority gov't (and another pre-election windfall of LPOC-directed taxpayer money for our MSM to help them in the next election), but I think the polls will swing even further after the debate. Poilievre has a ridiculous number of arrows in his quiver, and Carney has so many things to answer for, that no moderator will be able to deflect every topic away from his laundry list of lies and conflicts of interest. Poilievre will beat Carney like a rented mule on that stage. CBC will no doubt do their best to make the debate (and this election) another referendum on climate change they'll back Carneys false assertions that the PM and Finance Minister had almost nothing to do with Canada's success at avoiding the recession that the US experienced in 2008, because they love the $2,000,000,000.00 taxpayer dollars that the LPOC gave them to help them in these elections the NDP, Bloc and Greens will no doubt see Poilievre as the guy guy to beat, and gang up like the bunch of jackals they are but PP is the most skilled debater that Canada has had in the last 50 years.

New CPC Strategy Idea: Stop Pandering to Quebec
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
What gov't is going to stand up to Quebec and their 78 ridings? If the PC do it then the Libs easily get 70 of those Quebec MP's, so they only need 102 of the remaining 273 seats. With 160 of those seats being in Ontario and the Atlantic provinces, plus a few guaranteed seats in BC's 43, the election is over before it starts. The Libs can't do it because Quebec is an easy 35 ridings per election, with the majority of the rest going to the Bloc-heads. Que provides a +30 advantage over the PC's in every election. It can't be an English-speaker that does it or they'll be called racist right across Canada... We just have the current status quo and imo it's only the premiers that can do it, but there's no way that you'll get that much consensus and resolve among the 12 of them. Change in the grossly unfair relationship between Quebec and the provinces will come at a glacial pace imo. And God forbid the day ever comes when Quebec has the upper hand, because there's no way they will share with the rest of Canada if the roles are ever reversed. They've considered themselves the takers here for too many generations. All I can see working is for the PC's to just drop Quebec promises from their campaigns: let Quebec privilege go away like "that awkward moment where a curler just slowly releases his hand from the stone, and watches it drift away..." (- Bill Burr) -
What's the difference between: slaves in the classical sense, they way that Dems used to own them, and illegal immigrants imported by the Dems, who enter the US to do shit jobs, for poor wages, so that they can live in slums, without rights to vote, buy property, etc....? Both groups live in slums, both groups have less rights than full citizens, both groups do sh1t jobs that no one else wants, both groups are only able to get cheaper food, uglier clothes, etc, etc... There are even illegals who are forced to work in the sex trade, some of them being children. It's a mathematical certainty that some actual "slaves" from 300 years ago had it better than some illegal immigrants do, because some of those "owners" were just nicer people than some of their bosses today, and being forced to work in the sex trade is by far the worst job category of all. You decide for yourself whether you want to blame all that modern-day slavery on Dems, or consider the Dems and GOP to be co-conspirators in creating this system where 1 set of good guys says "let them all in", and the other set of good guys says "only let them in through the full bureaucratic process with normal human rights", leaving millions of people inside the border but outside the law, working as lesser-thans...

New CPC Strategy Idea: Stop Pandering to Quebec
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
But we don't have free trade within Canada... We have "Send money to Quebec, and protect Quebec's economy at the expense of the rest of the country" right now. The first thing that Trudeau did when he got elected was kill $100B in oil and gas sector investment and turf 100,000 high-paying Alberta jobs like it was nothing, and then he created the DPA law for SNC, tried to force JWR to use it for them, fired her for not using it, kicked her and Philpott out of the party, and then lied to Canadians about it all for months. Plus how many hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars did we have to give to the CBC and "select media outlets" to keep the SNC scandal out of the news during the next election cycle? That's how much the federal gov't values 100,000 Alberta jobs vs 5,000 Quebec jobs. -
They should have pretended that it was a BLM protest and just burned down some buildings.
